Influx of Asian sp

Recommended Posts

There are at least 3 agencies sending SPs here from MTL/TO. Maybe four with the kangnamlady. These are not local ladies. There are a few Asian university students here from overseas but they are extremely discreet.

Used to be Asian ladies were as rare as rocking horse poo. There was one SW back in the Albert St stroll in the late 80s, can't remember any others in Winnipeg at all.

It may seem like an explosion, but really this is just Winnipeg catching up.

Clearly there is sufficient demand. I am noticing that prices are starting to moderate which is probably a good thing, in the short term.

It's likely that prices will begin rising once the market is more saturated.

I've had no problem with VIP, or Kangnam. I see Candy Land is back after they seemed to take a break from sending ladies to Winnipeg. I had no real complaints about them, either. I have no idea about the woman from Montreal Asian Escorts though. If anyone has tested the waters, I'd like to know about it.

It appears to be an influx of Korean girls. It makes me wonder where the girls are coming from, and why?

Most of these girls aren't working because they want to. If you do some reading in the Vancouver section on the other *erb board under Asian Micros the information you're seeking will be there.

Please consider that the girl you're seeing isn't keeping a fair share of your donation. There are many good Asian providers that are legitimate independents you can see that choose this industry and aren't forced into it.

Stay safe everyone.

Why would one automatically jump to the conclusion that these girls are being forced? From the ones I've spoken to, and what I've witnessed it would seem these girls are no different than local SP's and doing it by choice. Most are here on student visas and are more than happy to open up about there personal lives. I know that is not necessarily the the full truth either but I tend to believe them. I've had Nico show me her art and plans of opening an art school in Seoul, showed my her travel plans, told me about the ladies she lived with that had no idea about her "job etc. others members have had social visits off the clock. If these girls were being coerced why so much openness? I'm not naive enough to believe everything I hear, but I've never seen anything that made my suspicious that anything shady was happening behind the scenes. I think it only adds to the scrutiny of the industry as a whole when we all start pointing fingers at Asian agencies and accuse them without facts or proof of trafficking these young ladies.

Additional Comments:

I agree with avi.the ones I have spoken to all did this either as a lark ie once in a lifetime, or were very knowledgable about the business.

That's a pretty big generalization. While this scenario unfortunately does exist in this world it is inaccurate to suggest most of them are. Similar to what honestavi posted I've had the good fortune of getting to know a couple of the ladies in social settings and know they work when they want to work and are doing it for themselves.

I can see certain circumstances where you can assume coercion, or some form of less than voluntary work in the sex field. The quoted asian micro brothels would be a perfect example.

Its a little harder to assume that with the travelling girls, a lot harder to "control" an involuntary worker when you are not physically able to contain them.

I think the comment comparing the agencies that send ladies here with asian micros was well intentioned, but its blanketing to all travelling asian SPs might be a little over the top.

Did most of these asian travelling ladies come here specifically to work in the sex trade and take money home? I would guess so. They would probably be doing the same work at home, for a lot less money in a lot worse conditions.

Does that make it OK for agencies to take advantage of these women? Not really. But it is business. And as long as here is a provider and a customer, there will be an exchange of money.

I never want to see a service provider who has been forced into the industry. It has not been my perception that any of these agencies are doing that. Kangnam seems to be run well and the girls seem to be treated well and working by choice but I guess that could just be my perception.

I was not expecting. I was not suggesting coercion, and based on the girls I have seen I don't think this is the case. I simply have noticed the girls are from Korea. Not Japan, China, Thailand, etc... Most are from Korea. I was just wondering if it is easier for somebody from Korea to get a student visa, work visa, etc... Or if there might be another reason for the influx. Prostitution is wide spread in Asian countries. Has Korea clamped down on prostitution and forced the workers to seek work outside the country?

The ones I talked to looked at visiting Canada as a chance to make money without anyone back home ever finding out. They want to do as much as they can while they are here and sometimes work when they are over tired instead of taking time off.

There was a second group who would never have doe it back home and never planned to do it here. Now they want to try it since they too think nobody will ever know. Not as a regular job though, just a few times a week on the side.
