I used to get a room there a few times per year when I decided to take a personal day. It's great... very escort friendly, excellent service etc. You can also request an early check in if you like. You can see a lady, then hit the pool / hot tub, then see another lady, then hit the casino for a bit, grab a bite to eat, then see another lady, then order room service and watch a movie before turning in for the night. I believe that the Atlantica Hotel on Robie may also be key carded, depending on which floor you're on. I remember when it was the Holiday Inn, I seem to remember being given the option to have a room on the keyed floor, which under normal circumstances would have been fine, except that in my case it was not condusive to hobbying. But I have been told by one of the ladies that sometimes after 10 or so, there can be issues with guests coming in to the hotel. I get a corporate rate so I am not sure what the price would be, but I know for me it is comparable to any hotels on the Halifax side. During nice weather I also enjoy taking the ferry over and having a few pints on the Halifax side. You can not enter without the person inviting you up being down at the doors to let you in. THey won't even allow you to call up and inform the guest should you arrive without knowing you needed to be let in by the guest physically. Also, the new Holiday Inn near the ariport locks down its doors after hours as well. As far as I know, they are the only others besides the one listed by Emma. Just wondering if is a nice Hotel I haven't been in it for a while -the past few months- and the last time I was it appeared they were doing some renovations. But I would say the rooms were spacious, all different sizes, and yes nice. They have large bathrooms, well appointed and beds that you can change the comfort settings on. My faves here are the Marriott Harbourfront and the Prince George. Not specifically for their rooms but for their amenities and locale. When travelling I used to be very selective about the chains I'd choose, or which boutique hotels I'd stay at. Until I stayed at an economy motel. My experience was so positive and the room so nice, well appointed and clean that I've changed my snobby ways. I've seen bed bugs and dirty carpets, ripped furnishings, etc in 5 star hotels and the opposite in 2- 3 star. Just wondering if is a nice Hotel The Radisson on Hollis is a great place to stay, I have directed a number of my colleagues to this hotel. It is centrally located, relatively close to the water and a good number of restaurants and bars. I have been going there since they completed the renovations. The staff is friendly, the customer service manager Lynne genuinely concerned about her customer's experience at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is adequate, however like most hotel restaurants it is overpriced for what you get. The newly renovated rooms are nice, well laid out and well priced although in no way cheap. I usually get the junior suite and have paid anywhere between 145$ and 178$ per night. When booking take advantage of your CAA/AAA membership as it can give you a decent discount. Second piece of advice, book early and tag an extra day after your planned departure. As the day approaches, usually 1 or 2 days before your arrival change the stay length to the actual stay duration. This trick with their online booking portal will occasionally provide you with a lower price when the hotel is booked below a certain capacity. This trick has saved me as much as 30$ per day. If you are planning to visit Halifax and it is your first time. I can recommend a cab drive that not only will provide you with excellent service but also offers personalized tours at a reasonable price.
