Brazil fell apart in the second half - lost their shape and their discipline and Dunga is the great disciplinarian. He's finished as coach of Brazil. Germany were fluid, disciplined and clinical in their finishing - a great improvement over the past few German teams - and so young. Today's game between Spain and Paraguay was fascinating. I was expecting Spain to dominate (I'm hoping Spain will win because I love the way they play. I was betting on a Spain v. Argentina final). The Paraguay coach certainly got his tactics right and it took a moment of sheer brilliance from Iniesta to break the deadlock. There will be a lot of controversy over Paraguay's goal being disallowed. Does the fact that Alonso had to retake his penalty kick balance that?? I suspect there will be lots more excitement to come. Additional Comments: "ha ha ... true, it's hard to control the data against all the contaminating factors. Maybe the ticket would have been to select the team from cloistered monks ..." __________________ WIT -the last thing you will find in the English Premier League is a cloistered monk!!!! Many years ago as a group of young high school students, we bet (not money but to take the winner for a night out (dinner/fun) and among 7 people who took part (we bet on each result of the game not final winner) I was the one who won. Yes a spectacular goal for sure CATO, I thought Robben's header goal was also a splendid well place shot! I thought the ending was a little weird, the TV announcers were saying that the game was over but official had then continue. Also the Dutch coach to take Robben out when they were up 3-1 might of been a little too early? I think there was 8 minutes left in the match. It's been a hell of a Cup this year and almost all the pre-finals favorites have been knocked out. All I know for sure is this is some damned fine footy!
