So who is the kitten Carrie sounds like maybe lots of purring hehe

Sara.. that actually came into a conversation today.. I was with Annessa and ''a Lion" in a 3-some..and myself.. a ''cougar'' (for the sake of the joke).. we called her a kitten. Both she and I purred.

I think both terms are fantastic when used in the right setting.. rawr!!!

Annessa would also be the pussy, or at least one of the two of those that were there.

BTW, I think MILF just describes a hot older lady, very very sexy indeed.

hehe I got a giggle outta that! and the strange thing is that I'm a parent, so MILF is acceptable if ppl, would say I'm a Mother I'd (or they'd) Like to Fuck (if you wanna get technical, lol)...just not in the terms that everyone else uses them, lol. That and people would start looking at me like I was from Mars is I advertised myself as a MILF! maybe yummy mummy would be more suitable tho ;-)

That being said, I cant wait until the day I can be a classy older woman referred to as a cougar/Milf. theres something about that Sex in the City sophisticated older woman that has really changed what being a coug/MILF is all about ;-) There was a great news story tonight on Global news for the Miss Cougar competition to be held tonight at Tattoo Rock Parlour bar in Toronto and the change in attitude surrounding the term cougar that used to mean older desperate woman chasing younger men...it now means a woman who is comfortable in her own shoes, older and more in tune with herself, in control of her money and lifestyle...mature beyond all belief and therefore attractive to the younger "cubs" that seek that in a woman yet will never find that in a woman in her 20s....it was a very interesting story. the night is being put together by this woman who is well in her 40s (you'd never guess it tho) but who has met her husband of 2 years who is 29 years old (and you'd also never guess he was that young physically) at a cougar social.

it was extremely awesome to see the stigma of either term being brought to a different light....and just amazing to see the guys being interviewed saying things like "what I've found in these women, you cant find anywhere else" and "my past three relationships were with older women...cougars...all I gotta say is the...(reporter inserts the phrase "good times?" lol) were the best that any woman has offered me.

these days, being an older and sophisticated attractive woman is a HUGE power attraction...and there are many men who are attracted to confidence and experience. MILF/Cougar....its all semantics...its the whole confident package that the guys that really seek out them and want them are looking for...beautiful people inside and out they all are....who are we to judge what they decide to own as their title? :-)

I asked a client where I'd fall into, categorically speaking...

Client said "Minx"

*I heard "Mink"*

I say: "Oh that's cute, but wait a minute... Aren't I just waiting to be turned into a coat???"

Lol!

Sara...I have heard before in reference to your "cougar in training", the term cub.....or cubbie.

MILF, cougar, puma, cubbies, kitten, cheetah seem to all be variations of a theme: felines on the prowl. From reading the thread and the various posts the terms seem to be a gradation of age/experience. So if one were to be purely scientific, would it would correct (politically or otherwise) to state that from youngest to oldest or least experience to most experience the listing would be as follows:

1. cubby;

2. kitten;

3. puma;

4. cheetah;

5. cougar.

As far as I am concerned, you are all ladies and are to be treated and respected as such. :)

A MILF can technically be any age so why is it that women who are 40+ are categorized as a "milf"? Not all women in their 40's are mothers and a lot of mothers are not in their 40's.

I don't like the term "Cougar" because it sounds as if a woman is a predator. Not all mature women are out looking for men in their 20's. I know when I hit my 40's, I'll stick to someone my own age.

I think people should start using the word mature to describe older women because its a simple definitive term and not stereotypical that may not even apply to one's lifestyle choices ( i.e with or without children).

you got the cheetah and the puma in the wrong place and you forgot the almighty tiger, panther, leopard, lynx, and lioness.

I find personally, these boys (and girls Im sure) say the crudest things to one another (and not in a nice way) that they would never say to one another in public...

Amazing how we are being driven my a culture medium that has pretty much had no sexual experience at all yet because they dominate the media, we look to them for "what's cool"

:handjob: sorry had to use it...its hillarious.

Technically yes.. but for porn/sexually no! It means my mom's best friend/my aunt/my teacher. Mature sex teacher doesn't roll off the tongue for porn titles but it is used.

These monikers have been popularized by media and will stick.. so I embrace them.

In most situations (both in the wild and in life) I would rather be the predator than the prey...so I vote Cougar over MILF. ;)

Besides, I find acronyms with the F-bomb in them to be ....awkward.

Seriously though, I would not use either term to address someone that I didn't know that well. Both have the potential to be taken as either a compliment or an insult depending on the person. If someone chooses to address themselves this way however, that is fine as they have chosen to see the positive in the term.

They're essentially the same thing except "cougar" has negative connotations and MILF does not. Well, and cougar implies age, not motherhood.
