Cerb is a God send to us companions and Sp's alike...I'm not sure if you gentlemen realize this or not but in order for us to advertise on other sites we have to pay...not just pay to advertise but pay to be degraded,insulted and more. Sure there are lots of decent guys that maybe on those sites but they i think sometimes are afraid to say anything as they might get bashed. I did however have one positive on another Canadian board where someone was saying some BS about me and the guys that knew me all spoke up...it made me feel wonderful...but i decided not to use these other boards anymore...I'm on strike...lol....why a person pays to be treated like crap is beyond me. One would think that if you have to pay to be on a site that one can decide whether or not she has a say in what people say about them....so thank you Mod. kisses and hugs, Emma ps-i like the word recommendation much better then review...another plus

Well here it goes.... After much debate on posting this, I have decided too. I am apologizing upfront to anyone whom I have offended or put off with what I am about to write. For the respect of people that I have been in communication with I will NOT mention names. I enjoy what i offer and the quality time that I spend with the select few that I do get a chance to visit with. I value my time and yours and ALWAYS try to be accomadating to whom ever I am going to visit with. Hence things do come up, delayed flights, traffic, hotel room not ready for check in, possibly your wife or SO coming home early, child sick or a work related issue. I understand as yes I have another life outside of this situation as well. What I am upset about is the LACK of respect from said indiviudals. I prefer to arrange my visits via email and confirm over the phone, I enjoy getting to know who i may be visiting with and this system works for me ( I am sorry if it does not for you). Yes I screen my potential company and it is for my safety and yours. My door is not a revoloving door and I visit with a few gentlemen a week. I am not a pizza which you can order in 20mins or less. Please do not tell me my donations are too high or not the going rate that is really not your place to comment, so please keep it to your self. I travel because I enjoy seeing all parts of Canada and enjoy the opportunity of all that life has to offer. When you prebook our engagement, and I email to confirm and with details to be told "im in Cuba for the remainder of the month" why would you wast my time, when you knew 2 weeks ago you would be going to cuba. When I visit I provide an expereince that is unique to me. I am NOT for everyone and everyone is NOT for me and I completely accept that. If I feel that I am not for you after a few brief emails I will always happily reccomend someone I know in the area if I am able to do so. I am not a clock watcher and always take my time to get to know who I am visiting with, so we can both be comfortable with one another. I respect the fact that you have a life outside of our encounter, so please respect that the same goes for me. I entertain because I choose too and no, noone is making me do this. I prefer to visit with mature gentlemen and that is my choice. You may prefer a blonde or a spinner, do I question your preference? Why am I ranting on and on..... Yes CERB is an amazing community and there are ALOT of wonderful contributers out there, but due to the amount of recent lack of respect I feel it necessary to make this post. I am not posting to offend anyone, but more to "OPEN the eyes of those offenders".

This a rant about a bee that sits in my bonnet and it's about time it got put out there. I have just heard from yet another Indie SP who is coming to Ottawa for a visit because she has been asked and encouraged. Now that her travel date is almost here, she has had numerous cancellations. This is a standard MO for Ottawa, I have spoken with agency managers and indies alike and they tell the same tale. The plans are made, the hotel deposits paid, flights paid for and then the cancellations start to come in and the inevitable no shows happen. The visits are seldom truly profitable, and it leaves a bitter taste on the tongue. So I will take a moment and break down the costs of a trip so it is understood what is involved when an SP takes on a trip... 1. Travel - if an SP is flying one will spend about $1000 for flight, extra bags, taxi etc. 2. Hotel - even a good deal online will run about $140 a night for a decent hotel so for week it will be a financial committment of another $1000. 3. On top of that there are the incidentals, food, refreshments for guests, and a number of other little niceties and toys that are expected which add up to about $250 for the week. That is a bare minimum of $2250 outlayed to "come for a visit". At $250 a visit, that is 9 appointments for the week just to break even. If we stay put, we don't spend that time, money and effort and will still be able to service our established guests. When an SP makes a committment to travel she is putting her money on the line upfront, and I think that it's about time people realized that. Ottawa had a longstanding reputation as being the "cancellation capital" and girls didn't like to visit because of it. The Ottawa market is now seen as "hot" because of the activity on CERB and the quality of the regular posters. This can be misleading because there are only so many appointments to be had with the local hobbiests and the behind the scenes communication shows that guests are making appointments ahead of time with an SP only to change and book with another SP just prior to the intended arrival of the first SP. I realize that everyone has the choice of who to spend their hard earned dollars with, but please show some integrity and when you book with someone try to follow thru, don't cancel on a whim. It gives Ottawa a bad reputation that it doesn't deserve. The time will come when quality SPs will again avoid Ottawa, and that would be a shame because it is a great city full of great people.... At what point these TWO teachers thought any of this was acceptable is beyond me and I am hardly a prude but this behavior in a school, by students or faculty is way out of line. What makes this situation worse is that the student who captured the dance on video was being threatened with suspension for using celphone and video devices on school property. A rule in place by their district to protect the safety of both staff and students. So the student's know what they the teachers are witnessing is wrong, they document it to prove their case and the teachers union wants to go after them for breaking a rule far less offensive than the sexual lap dance performed by the supposed adults, what has this world come to. Thankfully the teachers union realized they should not pursue that line of defense. I would not want those teachers to be anywhere around my children.
