Well how's this for a solution: I created this group with a sense of inclusive community in mind. It states both in my original post presenting the idea and on thr group itself that all are welcome. Even lurkers. The choice to be annonymous is a choice I believe should be respected. Furthermore, the group's content is fully open, so discussing these matters on the group page is no less public for those who want to access that information. Now, I understand concerns some may have about this. So what do we do? Simple. Those who have no issue with the odd annonymous (and probably unnoticed) attendee at a social event keep on truckin' with the Cerb Social group. Those who are too uncomfortable with the openness can start their own group with private settings as per their comfort. No one needs to have hard feelings. No one needs to be put in a position they don't want to be put in. It's the only reasonable solution to make all involved happy. Posted via Mobile Device

If I may weigh in with my two cents.... The conversations that you share and the questions you ask are entirely dependent on the level of comfort you hold. I have both wonderful and intimate sessions that have included a great many questions... in fact, I probably know more about my "regular" than I do many of my friends and she knows much of my life. It's not judgmental or an interrogation, it is sharing information with someone with whom you have a bond. That being said, it does take a great deal of time to build up that level of trust and certainly the conversations we have now are far more profound than we had when we first met. Okay, that was about six cents worth, but I do prattle on....

In general, when the word "whore" is used by outsiders (that is, those not working in the sex industry), it is with derogatory intent. I should have been more specific and said "strangers." Obviously, it's about context--if close friends were using that word, I know they're not being derogatory. It's entirely different when coming out of the mouth of a stranger who has just met me and thinks it's okay because I use the word. It's not. I look at it in much the same way the "N" word is used. Unless you're black, you do not have the right to be throwing that word around. In both contexts, unless you are black or a whore, you don't know what it's like to have that word used to demean you, and you shouldn't use it just because you can. I'm all for free speech, but I'm still going to think you're rude if you're anyone but close friends or other sex workers. Words are never *just* words: they have power. If you want to cast a spell, that's all you have to do--SPELL.

Please DO NOT share computers with other members! If you want to introduce cerb to a SP or CLIENT feel free to show them cerb but do not let them register or login to cerb using your computer. Why? Our system flags this and reports your account as a MULTIPLE ACCOUNT. If you are a male member and you post some nice things about a SP and I see that both the lady and you have accessed cerb using the same computer it looks very much like you are SHILL posting for her (or she made this fake guys account to post recommendations about herself under this fake account). This happens a lot and we catch these accounts all the time! I find out that male members are "Helping" market a lady (some cases trying to get in on the action and pimp her!) sometimes it is a pimp or a agent trying to "help" market her in a very unethical way! Sometimes it is just a guy trying to help her out (unfortunately I don't know for sure if that is true when it happens so I must assume it is NOT true and remove the offending posts and accounts). Most of the time we get excuses like "I let my client use my computer" or "The lady was at my house and she accessed cerb from my PC" and occasionally I get "That is not true! I never shared my PC with anyone" (I like this answer as it confirms 100% that it was a SHILL account when I get this). I have even got... "I left the room to go to the washroom and they used my computer without my permission" - Sure they did! No matter what the excuse is.... it looks VERY bad!! Agencies often try to set up MULTIPLE accounts for each lady or under different agency names (I find this deceitful so I do not allow this either). If you are an agency looking to advertise the ladies as independents you will be caught and removed. Some ladies share computers with other ladies (This is fine as long as you don't have TWO accounts for the same lady. Only Independent ladies who work from the same location are allowed to do this and you should ask me first please - if your friend is coming from out of town to work with you for a week that is fine just give me a heads up! ************************* IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL MEMBERS ************************* I am considering creating a thread that reports multiple accounts to all the elite members and service providers. If I do this it will show anyone creating multiple accounts and will show all the ladies who work together and access cerb together. If anyone has an issue with this please PM me and explain why before I activate this feature. *************************

Maybe I'm overly sensitive, but I have to tell you that I do cringe when I see posts asking if members if someone has "used" a particular SP.. "Using" an SP seems to me to be contrary to the principles of CERB and it tends to objectify the ladies, a principle that all the members otherwise (pre)tend to disavow. Personally, I don't believe in "using' anyone. I would be interested in what the SPs in particular say about this. If some gents want to save face, now's the time.

I have a friend that cut his SIM down to size as suggested in the web site and it works OK. You can get an adapter to allow you to use the smaller SIM in the older phones. You can find them on many web sites, one that works is: http://www.pdaplaza.ca/shop.php?id=363&subcatid=155&gclid=CMOrqPTwsqICFRmjagodBm1v6w
