Before I start my post ... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope you had a great time last night and are enjoying your first day of 2011. These days I have been thinking about my 2011 wishes and how some of them can become resolutions. So I decided my first wish (and hopefully will be able to make it a resolution that I can keep all year round) to ask for the world's wellness. Yes, I know I/We can't change the whole world but I believe what they say ... 'every little counts'. Lowdark just started a thread yesterday with suggestions for 2011. In a way this thread is a sequal to his as I do agree that in order to feel good and get good things one has to do that for others first. So I thought each of us cerb community can make a wish/resolution that will make our world better and if you feel like it you can share it with all the others here to do it too and start not changing but making the world better together :)

New Year's resolutions are lucky if they last until Valentine's Day, but here are a few rules I'll have in mind this year. Live well and true. Play nice with others and live every moment with friend and family like it's the last (it could be). Stand up for yourselves and for the guy who can't because some day the roles may be reversed. Never get pushed around but think things through instead of losing your temper. Live and let live, trying not to judge. Treat the ladies on CERB like the angels they are, many of us are better off for having met most of them (I know I am). Look for joy because life isn't worth living otherwise and try to leave the world a little bit better when you go to bed. Have a Safe and Happy New Year's CERB. See you in 2011.

One thing I would add, even if right now you focus on all her bad qualities, when the wounds are healed, chalk it up as you two weren't meant to be together. Don't hold a grudge and don't hate her. I'm sorry drlove! I believe everyone comes into our lives to either teach us something, learn something from us or both. Take the relationship for what it was and realize that it added something to you and enjoy the memories that were positive. There are more adventures on the horizon, just wait and see... cat
