Tragedy, in a powderkeg region of the world. You know, we all have our valid complaints about the government (no matter what party, and federal/provincial/municipal), taxes, stupid laws etc...but really, all in all it's things like this that make us realize how great Canada is and we are all pretty lucky to live here RG

This is a very touchy and sticky topic. I always offer a glass of my favourite wine when a gentleman comes to see me. You need to be careful that you watch or even pour it yourself if you are offered a drink. I myself like to pour when hosting and always in front of the gentleman and take a sip and say "cheers". It's always a nice icebreaker, I find. Things can go wrong and you could be put in a very dangerous situation. People may not be as nice as they seem and can be very evil at times. http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hc-ps/drugs-drogues/learn-renseigne/ghb-eng.php Play safe and have fun!! Kisses, Lexy

I am officially a late bloomer. I will always be young at heart. And thanks to good genes, I will likely look younger or at least 'good for my age' too. I didn't enter this business until I was 33, and looking back, I know I couldn't have done it any sooner. It was extremely tempting to lie about my age. Who would know? How could they find out? By shaving some years off, it could also potentially increase my client base and possibly allow me to work longer. But I thought loooong and hard about it, and decided as much as I wasn't crazy about being honest about my age, I've never, ever lied about it before, so why start now? I'm 36 years old. I feel I look young and youthful for my age. Mentally and emotionally I feel no chronological age specifically. Just comfortable and happy enough with myself to be honest about it. I applaud all the other SPs who are honest with their ages. To me it shows integrity and confidence to be able to do so. We should all be proud we've made it this far! ;)

What's happening now in Egypt has been happening around the world more than 2000 years. Its people natural instinct right to be free. Global communication is the driving engine behind these revolts of freedom from Russia to Tunisia people are realizing the truth. Iran will be the next to fall but not for another 20 years Mahmoud Ahmajinedad has too much power now to be overthrown. To overthrow your government in these dictatorship run states takes lots of human sacrifice the sacrifice of freedom. Unlike us slaves here in Canada our government has conveniently set us all up with free 1-800' #'s to voice our distrust and avoiding a clash of 100,000's on parliament Hill.

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory; the other two I forget.

I've got a Saturday morning chat rant again to add. : ) Please, if you request to have a private chat and you are not interested in the service being offered, please say thank you for your time and good bye without just leaving. To be honest, I'm not looking to book while on chat, so taking the time to have a private conversation is friendly and personable. We take the time to share something and this is not how anyone should conduct themselves. I find it so rude and very impolite. Anyone else?

Many of us here are parents and I know that, despite having grown up in supposedly sexually liberated times lots of us find it difficult to talk to our children--particularly teenagers--about sex, gender, sexuality, sexual relationships, expectations, negotiations, birth control, STIs and all that. Fortunately there are some very good resources for teenagers on the interwebs. One of the very best is http://www.scarleteen.com/. It's American and, not surprisingly, given its accurate, no-nonsense content, it receives no government funding or support. It doesn't rely on commercial advertising. It operates solely on money donated by visitors. Sex education varies in quality and focus all across Canada. Scarleteen is a vital resource for young people here as well as in the States. They're having a funding drive. Canadians can donate, though we won't receive tax credits for our donations. Nonetheless, I'd like to urge everyone who is in any position to make a donation, however small or large, to have a good look at Scarleteen and consider offering them your support.

Intelligence or education has nothing to do with someone "knowing better". If that were the case we'd have no alcoholic judges, or addicted doctors or CEOs with gambling problems for example, because really shouldn't they know better. I am not suggesting the OP meant anything negative by what he said, but this kind of logic is just as bad as stereotyping all sex workers as scammers. This is a true story of criminal intent - this young woman, aided by her husband set out to defraud this man by having her purport to be in love with him and make him believe they were in a relationship. Being a escort is relevant only in how she met him. It was only after he believed he was in a committed monogamous relationship based on her lies that the rest of the story unfolded. To this day, she has never shown one bit of remorse towards him. The only regret she has is the fact she stepped off that plane at Pearson and got arrested, has a civil judgment against her and is now possibly facing jail time as a result of the criminal trial and probably the fact that she will never ever be able to enjoy the money she stole because it's off-shore and in the hands of her husband who she is estranged from. Her arrogance and narcissism is what brought her to where she is today. If I was to ask her one question, it would be "was it worth it". And no matter how stupid or crazy some people think he was to go along with her lies and giving up that kind of money, no one has the right to purposefully defraud another like that. This is a variation on the romance scam which is perpetuated on both men and women through dating sites, etc. all over the net with many victims who often do not report these crimes because they are either ashamed or when they do, they are basically sloughed off by the police as well you should have been more careful. I hope justice is served in this case so we send a clear message in Canada that if you commit this type of crime, you could be prosecuted and face jail time. Stay tuned for the upcoming verdict later this week.
