Hey! Any new and exciting clients? lol

Ottawa is famous for No-shows. Most of the time it isn't for a good reason, it's either they found someone else that they wanted to see more, or you were a plan B, or found someone cheaper.. ect.. Asking someone to change hotels and wanting a discount is a deal breaker right there. As soon as I get a client asking for a discount its game over right there. It's amazing how many ppl are in a "car accident" on the way to see a lady..almost an epidemic. LOL So when someone pulls a no show, we automatically ban them and call it a day. Just for clarification, if someone makes an appt and cancels it in a reasonable amount of time, that is a different story. But if we have to call the client and they tell us they have to cancel.. We cancel them, permenantly.

I don't think this is unfair, it's just the way things work in many industries including ours. People do check out new restaurants, for example, or keep an eye open for wines that haven't been previously available. Women who are just starting out usually get a lot of traffic because they're new. A lot of men are very interested in meeting them and there's no doubt that if one is willing to see someone who's new, he may discover a rare gem who may provide him with many hours of pleasure over time. My experience is that women who are new to our industry are often surprised by the amount of work they need to do to create their own "brand," establishing a presence in their city, on boards and related places. The good ones work hard, learn quickly, take care of themselves and engage well not only with their clients but with other companions, too. They also recognize from the outset that after our personal safety nothing is more important than protecting the privacy of our clients. I understand very well why someone may not want to give me personal information about himself. There are usually several ways to satisfy my screening requirements and I'm happy to work something out whenever I can. I'd also like to point out, though, how exceedingly rare it is to find reports of paid companions breaching clients' privacy even when those women are new to the business or have decided that this work isn't right for them. The reports that one does come across usually relate to Madams whose records have been compromised, not to independent companions. Unfortunately, it's obvious to all of us that companions' safety is much more often damaged, or worse. We all have to make our own decisions about who we will or will not see. Gentlemen may pass up an opportunity to have a stellar engagement with a remarkable woman. The ladies may also have to take a pass on an ideal potential client. That's how it goes, sometimes. Handled respectfully, no harm is done.

This is Robyns 2 nd day at Angels Touch. Get there fast. She is stunning,beautiful and sweet. When I walked in and she said she was Robyn, I thought I hit the jackpot. Wow. I can bet my doctor does not spend hours doing his best to look "pretty" for me and I bet he puts no effort into making his office the very best it can be. I am also thinking he will not even think about it if I cancel on him five minutes before my appointment. You will have a bit of a problem here, you cannot offer insurance receipts if you do anything remotely sexual during your sessions. You will have to be very careful about keeping the two aspects of massage completely separate from each other. Preferably you should practice your RMT sessions at a totally different location and at different times than your MA sessions. You shouldn't even use the same name. I've known ladies in the past who have maintained totally separate practices, one for RMT, one for MA. They won't even allow the same customers to see them in different capacities: if a customer is sees them as an MA, they aren't allowed to see them as an RMT. However, if your training as an RMT has improved your MA skills, then using those techniques will only be an asset. It's good for your advertising to be known as an "RMT-like massage provider", but as long as you never offer insurance receipts you're fine.

You come across a lass, and I have been with a couple bakers dozens, that just has this certain "ability", shall we say. She puts you in the mood, can have a conversation, does not have an EGG TIMER on the counter, show you a new move and new sensation.....well this is one of those Unique Ladies. Most places do charge a larger, or a double door fee, as you are taking two girls time for the duration of the session. In session, each girl would receive the same tip as she would in a single session. She's still providing you with the same service as she would on her own. Also I would recommend checking with the girls before heading to the spa to see if they offer duos together. I've done a couple of duos with girls I work with, and it was a lot of fun! But I've also had gentlemen walk in and ask if myself and the other girl working could do a duo, and we've declined, as she and I had just met and didn't feel comfortable yet. You'll end up with your best duo massage with two girls who offer them together, because that means they get along well, and in session they'll get a long verrrrrry well ;)

I have to agree with Slurp and Whiteman in that there is no need to get carried away with a cancellation fee or compensation. What would have happened if it had been the MA or SP that had suffered the injury and had to cancel your appointment. Would she have compensated you? You were inconvienced having your appointment with her cancelled and now have to wait to see her or move onto to another MA or SP... I believe that you did what was required, you called and cancelled with lots of notice and that should be adequate. Anything beyond that in the form of compensation or a gift would depend on your relationship with the lady in question. Rodehard

I have to agree with whiteman, there's no need to get carried away unless you have to cancel last minute. Hell, I've had MAs or SPs cancel on me last minute (not often but it has happened more than once) and they always say they wull make it up but never do. As stated many times, let common sense be your guide. Since every situation is different there is no stock answer. As a few MA have suggested, booking when you recover would be sufficient and you can tip or take her a present at that time. Worry about your knee and then you can make amends later. Remember that common sense thingy.

I don't think any compensation should be necessary, your appointment was today, and you canceled yesterday, plenty of time for her to rebook business. And especially since you had a really good reason for canceling. Certainly the suggestion by someone to compensate for anything less than 3 days notice is nuts, no one needs that much notice, not even doctors or dentists.

Cristy, I don't think I'm going to be much help because I don't really have a preference for what an SP wears. Part of the allure for me is anticipating what she might be wearing (or not wearing). To me, it says a lot about her personality and her mood at that time. I've had ladies looking gorgeous greeting me in their robe, jean skirt, torn jeans, a little black number, a summer dress, a bikini, and naked. And for each one of these my first impression was sexy, sexy, sexy, sexy, sexy, sexy and sexy. It's all sexy to me. It's all good. Surprise me.

Personally, life happens. If you contacted the lady ahead of your scheduled appointment, then the best compensation is to reschedule your appointment. I'm sure that most of us understand that things can and do happen, and as long as you don't make a habit of booking and cancelling, we understand.

A woman's gait (and a man's, too) can reveal a lot about them. I walk upright, not slouched. Chest up, back stretched. When you walk standing tall like this, it's hard not to have your hips sway since your whole torso is moving in gentle undulations with each step. I used to walk slouched a bit, always looking at the sidewalk. But a friend told me that my feet knew where the ground was, so why was I always checking? My personal comfort level is to pm and/or call on my cell phone number , which I have had for years, the provider of my choice. I once visited a very reputable provider and wanted to freshen up in the shower, her diary/ schedule was on the vanity right before me. I noticed my handle and cell number right before me, which I was not really happy about. I did not pick up the encounter listing and skim through it but I did notice other encounters of hers and recognize two other members handles on the same single page before me. I decided not to see this particular provider again because of her lack of indiscretion.

RG, I do understand what you are saying but I have to strongly disagree with parts (little ones ;)) of your post. My priority as companion is to try to keep myself as safe as possible and eliminate the potential bad dates from my agenda; if someone provides me with a board handle, it is MY responsability to verify the information (by sending that person a PM and asking for a confirmation reply) and to not pass on the blame onto the impersonator if it turns out to be a scam. This is why we call it a screening process. There is absolutely no point in asking for information (or someone giving it to you) if it is not somehow verified at some point before the encounter. I'm positive Cato and Pistol Pete would agree with me on this one... Same goes for references- a gentleman might provide me with a reference but if I don't contact the lady and he ends up being the most unpleasant date ever for xxx reason(s), who's to blame? Yes, I agree that a gentleman should act like a real gentleman but unfortunately, not everyone is one/acts like one. All I can say is that if I had done my due diligence in the first place by getting feedback from the lady, I would have declined his request and not gone through a less than desirable experience. Thankfully, most gentlemen involved in this lifestyle are just that- respectful and kind gentlemen who are just looking to spend quality time with a great lady. In the end, no one can change the behavior of others but we, as companions, can definitely (try to) avoid spending time with those who don't deserve our attention and/or try to use deceptive tactics to 'get' an appointment (false handles- false references). As far as I know, being a graduate with impeccable spelling and grammar is not a prerequisite to become a member of this community. His post could've used some work but why the need to point it out? All I can say is at least he tried (and maybe to the best of his abilities).

I lie to my mother about my income. I am a Reiki Master and I tell her my money comes from my Reiki practice. She is in awe I can do so well at this alternative healing practice. Sometimes I fell a little guilty. You have to do what you must though. Another one. My sister borrows money from me a lot. One day she said hey, "you make more money than a hooker at this Reiki".
