To celebrate mothers, and the upcoming mothers day I thought I'd start a thread in their honor. Tell us about yours and how you spend mothers day. My mother is, so I think, the best cook in the world. She is extremely generous, selfless, smart, independent, beautiful, and really the only person who I fully trust and feel completely safe around. I talk to her everyday, it is important to me to hear her voice often as it's comforting and grounds me. Her advice is always right and her wisdom is priceless. I think she is the most important person in the world. Mothers, what would we do without them. They teach us, guide us and would go to the ends of the earth for their children. There is nothing like a mothers love. :)

I try to be compassionate with myself as much as possible. While regret is useful, as articulated by Porthos, it does not serve a purpose beyond learning about oneself. If ever I experience a twinge of regret, I try to remind myself that in that moment (the moment over there, forgotten, lapsed, or otherwise inaccessible), I made the best possibile decision for myself. Perhaps now I'm different, or somehow wiser (possible older?), but that doesn't mean that back then my decision wasn't right for me. With age comes that recognition. I made a lot of really stupid mistakes, even within the past few years, but I've learned incredibly valuable lessons from them. I try not to be too hard on myself :) This was a wonderful thread, thank you so much Al!

My advice is STAY AWAY, this lady and a few others have been pulling this pay in full via - transfer for weeks now in NB and NS. You send the money, they accept and then when you call for confirmation they tell you they never received the money. A deposit for an encounter with an established lady - sure 100%. for an unknown on CL and BP only i'd run and not look back. The fact she wants FULL payment in advance and not just a deposit screams scam. I tend to think we all have regrets, choices we wish we could have over again. The key, it seems to me, is not to allow yourself to be defined by the choices you didn't make ... by the regrets. Hello Readers Not the most PC savvy person even in my own family, I managed to go through a few different newcomer threads coming to the conclusion that perhaps an official newcomer introduction might be what I was searching for to make my first post rather than jump straight into a social group or a relevant discussion thread. It's been in the news, and my heart just aches for that poor woman, Susan Griffiths, that had to travel all the way to Switzerland to end her suffering. We do it for our pets why shouldn't it be allowed for ourselves and our loved ones. It easy to understand the need especially when you watch a loved dwindle and die from a terminal illness, it's inhumane and demoralizing for the person dying to allow them to linger, jmo, what are your thoughts.

I say dumb things on a daily basis. I don't think I'm wired right. I either try not to talk too much or wait for the blank stare or quizzical look, then go over what I just said and start explaining. Maybe if when you hear something a bit odd, ask something like - " did you just say ...... ?". Chances are the guy will think about what just came out of his mouth, evaluate how dumb it sounded then re-state in a more ... normal way. Probably the guy is trying to compliment, be funny or just making conversation. Something happens between the brain and the mouth for some of us. I can think of a plethora of examples for myself. None yet today ... it's still early though ...

Never had this particular problem, I feel how they are rolled with my tongue before slideing them on with my mouth. Presto. Mind you thiss could get tricky if you have to put them on your self, but would make a great party trick.

I think condom makers should have a way to identify which way is "right side up" after the wrapper is open. All to often, it goes on upside down and cannot be unrolled properly. Than you have a wasted condom. But wait, maybe that is their plan to sell more.

I agree with Cristy, and with everyone else who has posted in this thread. While I support Canadians traveling to Switzerland to access the services of Dignitas, it means that only those who can afford the travel expenses can die with peace, and dignity. That makes my heart ache, because there are a lot of people in Canada who simply can't afford those kinds of services, but desperately want them. I think it should be decriminalized. I don't necessarily believe I say the dumbest things, but I do realize that a lot of what I say gets lost in translation at times. English from the UK is definitely not the same as english from Canada. There are many words I use that confuse people over here based on the context we use them in. So I have definitely had some odd looks at times from some of the women I've met over here, but fortunately my father is Canadian, so I am pretty used to your style of the language. The entertainment begins when I head south of the border!!! I've spent a lot of time in the US, but there is clearly a language barrier there between us!!! But when it comes to trying to get it legalize one of the main argument's is about MD's. and the issues that can come from it and as this thread is for what i think on assisted suicide i wanted to give a more facts like replay as this is something i have been thou with a close family member and is something i deal with alot in my daily life. also assisted suicide and active euthanasia are much the same thing. i say this only for info sake as i did not know what you meant by that part of you comment. Again as i deal a lot with this i am very hopeful that the laws on this will change in the future.

I think that everyone has at least a couple of regret in there life, no matter what people say they do not. and it is not a bad thing i could write a book on all the things i regret but even thou everyone would like to go back and change the things they made mistakes on, or things they do not do whould it be for the best. In our life it is our mistakes that made us who we are today and so might say great if i could change things in the past i would be even greater or beater then i am now, but on that same logic you could all so be a shadow of what you are now. with all the things i wish i could change i still think about some of them even to this day but i know there is nothing i can do but i can take the following attitude and i hope every one else will find it nice as well: " There is nothing your persent self can do to change your past self or the events that happened, but you can live in this moment and if there is something you do not like about who you are, strive to make it better. because your present self can change your future self. so it is never to late to be the person you want to be." I never thought about this in my entire life until I had a first hand experience with watching someone you love suffer so much. I watched as this happen over time. This has crossed my mind too. With my father suffering, yes suffering from terminal cancer (stage 3 CLL leukemia, lung cancer and bone cancer) He is in constant pain, and needs to be on pain killers, fluid build up on his lungs which has to be drained every two days...his life is reduced to sitting in a armchair and looking out the window. Actually I thought by now he would have passed away. Has he thought of euthanasia? I don't know for fact if he has, he hasn't discussed it with me. I know if I was in his shoes I certainly would be thinking of it. Assisted suicide should be an option for those who are suffering, the quality of their life going downhill, and never going to improve. Life isn't important, living is. And sometimes, nature or circumstances are cruel, you can be alive but unable to live. You don't want to work a winnipeg agency. They won't screen your clients and will take a very large percentage of your earnings. If you are looking for something safe and easy to get comfortable within this business I would recommend having a look at executive bath. They have a virtual tour that gives you an idea of the interior. I worked on and off there for several years. Management is strict but I do feel they want what is best for the girls, your uniform is a one piece bathing suit and you get to chill in jetted tubs, give massages and little happy endings. If I may........ From an SP's point of view...... Research ur girls well. Most top notch SP's will take the time getting to know you and ur likes and dislikes before you even meet. Every girl is different, just as tho it would be with any lady (sp or not). For the most part us girls have no issues letting you gents know what our boundaries are, and do so in a polite and pleasant manner. I think my point was that you can choose not to use if for your own reasons, but I just get tired of the auto assumptions about the value of the sps who post there, and the clients who use it based on nothing but listening to rumours and posts from others.
