I've done a day at the beach, as well as a day kayaking with a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine.

Thank you all for your 'get well' wishes. They have lifted my spirits. I'm back from a follow up visit at the hospital. Stitches will be removed in about a week, collar bone to remain in a brace, and the doctors continue to monitor a blood clot from my head injury. Some could be angry and bitter from this type of accident...I choose to be grateful. - Grateful that no one was with me in the passenger seat, police say no one would have survived the accident from that position. - Grateful for the airbags in my vehicle that limited the injuries. - Grateful for the donors who gave the 3 units of blood I needed at the hospital. - Grateful for family, friends, and my CERB family for thier kindness and support. We all have an ability to impact drinking and driving. This is not just a problem at Christmas time, but year round. I ask all of you to make proper choices in this area. I am proof that your choices do not impact you alone. I am grateful, I am lucky...this time. Thank you all for your caring thoughts. E.

Even though I have been hobbying for many years, a first meeting still brings butterflies. Regardless of how many good recommendations I have read about the lady I'm about to see, all those recos are based on others personal chemistry, and might not necessarily reflect what I'm about to experience. I find a warm genuine welcoming hug is what does it for me. Somehow that seems to set my mind at ease. And even seeing ladies that have a special meaning to me, I still desire it to be something special and fun between us. I have met some amazing lady friends in this hobby, and consider myself blessed by their friendship (the OP included). Ironically, Bethany and I met for the first time at a social, playing pool. Needless to say, I still had butterflies when we had our first 'date'. It's just part of this wonderful journey called CERB.

I understand what the ladies are saying. And Berlin has a valid point about getting our recommendations from foreign boards. But I kinda think like this: If I'm somewhere...say New York, and looking for a good restaurant...I would rather take the recommendation of a neighbor or friend than rely on some local tourist brochure to point me in the right direction. I trust my neighbor not to steer me wrong...the guy who wrote the brochure, I don't know from Adam. Maybe a dedicated section for this kind of thing has merit. Not knowing the 'flavour' of the foreign board, hobbyists would have no way of knowing if the board is well moderated, nor would we have the ability to quickly distiguish if the reco is a shill or not. It's simply a backyard we don't play in often, and maybe they have different rules.

In principle, I agree strongly with what you are saying. But when a hobbyist is away travelling abroad, the money he spends there was never going to be spent 'locally' in the first place. We can all remember Marineland, with their crazy theme song, advertising on TV. It would drive me nuts, and cause my kids to ask 'when are we going ?'. It's not that the local museum lost my business because I didn't go. It simply gave me options for when I was in Niagara Falls. Just some ramblings...

I disagree. Though you may consider this a 'Review Board for Canadian Escorts', I consider this a 'Candian Board for Escort Reviews'. As a Canadian hobbyist who does much international travel, I find this has value to me. As it's not always financially practicle to bring our favorite SP with us, it's nice to have a recommendation from a fellow hobbyist that will help satisfy my travel needs.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Annessa after the Ottawa xmas social. It was not a planned get together, but rather something spontaneous. As I have stated before...I consider it a private matter. The SP also asked that I break contact, and I have respected her wishes...though it would be nice to hear from her to know she is doing well. As I said, I still consider her a friend, but am unsure if she feels the same. Time will tell.

This is a unique situation because of the prepaid arrangement. There was a level of service being provided before the arrangement began. This level continue through the first half of the arrangement, as I expected it would. A pattern existed. As I said in the previous post, I respect her right to change her services. But in doing so, she changed the essence of what was originally agreed to, thereby altering the arrangement. As well, I was only given 4 hrs notice of this change. And as I said, in this circumstance, there should have been a sharing for the responsability of the cancellation. I fully intended to go through with the appt. that day, until I received the pm. My cancellation was a reaction to her action. Though I apologize for this poor example, at this moment nothing else comes to mind. Sp's expect to be paid in cash. If a client told you 4 hrs before the appt. that they didn't have enough cash and would pay you with a combination of cash and Canadian Tire money, I suspect the SP would not agree to this and cancel the appt. It was not the terms of the original agreement. Where I feel she took advantage, is because she was already in possesion of my cash due the the prepaid arrangement. As well, historically, I had been able to talk to this person about anything and everything, and we had discussions about other financial arrangements that were agreed to be fair for both parties. There was conversation, dialogue. In this situation, I was not given the courtesy of either...just told. As I said...it was a unique situation.

I will do no such thing...it is a private matter, and will remain so. Also, my choice of friend's is my business. End of rant!
