thanks for the replies. How much effort is reqired to setup a virtual machne on my current box so I can run LINUX? is it the same as a dual boot system? Any pros or cons to a dual boot system?

Hey Gonna get me a laptop an throw linux on it so I can practice my scripting and admin stuff. I will also use a KVM switch to redirect the video output to my big 21" screen and use a special keyboard and mouse. all I need from the laptop is lots of hard drive space, lots of ram and god video card. any ideas? what flavour of linux is good for newbies?

Thanks for the ideas. The correct term for my trouble is motion blur, not shaky camera. Various tools can correct ( maybe not fully ) motion blur so I am off to explore these tools Cheers

I am wondering if anyone has ideas on good but in-expensive software that would allow me to edit digital pics I took my camera? On a recent trip I took pictures that suffer from "shaky camera syndrome". I cannot go back and retake the pictures so I am looking for a software solution. PC or ipad2 platforms. Any thoughts?

a couple of days ago I tried to sync my htc desire phone using the HTC Sync software that I got with my phone. No joy I downloaded the latest drivers, got the latest version of htc sync, still no joy. When ever I try to synch my phne, I get a message on my phone that it cannot find teh HTC sync software on my PC. I have tried different USB ports, starting HTC Sync before I connect my phone to the pc. Nothing seems to work. any thoughts?

I am a little confused about someting... I am planning on bringing my IPAD2 with me to China. While there I would liek to use it kep in touch famil etc via email. My IPAD 2 is 3G and wifi although raoming charges make using my telsu 3G account rather expensive. I know most hotels have some sort of intrernet ( free or not ) and even wifi. I am thinkng more of like using it on a train or in remote areas. While researching this I cam e accross something called mobile wifio or mifi. an explanantion here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MiFi it would use my HTC Desire as a modem. Is this going to show up on my cell phone bill?

Get out and enjoy it. - Skating on the Canal - Snowshowing - X-country skiing - I personally walk to and from work in all weather ( even 30 below zero ), 45 minutes each way. I had the pleasure of Nikinta on her first night. Have been to busy withe stuff to write a detailed review. At one point during our session, she was riding my face and when she hit the big 'O' she pratically launched herself off. Good thing I had my hands on her waist.

I had tried Jennifer friom this same agency but when I went to repea, she was gone to Montreal. Not to be detterd, I asked if Celina was avalible and she was. Service by the "phone guy" was prompt and courtious. She arrived on time for our appointment and I quickly discoverd that her English is limited so small talk took on a whole new meaning.
