Recent events in my personal life are driving me to ask this question. Someone who I met quite randomly and innocently by chance. I know I have felt both in past relationships but this time is very different for some reason. It's so easy when you not in the middle of it. Since I am, I'm a bit cloudy right now. So I reach out the Cerb community to see who has the best definition. I normally have a great compass but my sense of direction is bit off right now... Thoughts and Feedback? hnh

I totally understand.. Just a bit of a mood diminisher on my part. Something I may need to adjust to as I suspect this is very common.

I recently visted a MA in a parlour in Montreal for the first time.. I still consider myself pretty new to the community so some of these first experiences definately affect my first impression. I sat and listened to the 'menu' for lack of a better term had decided on what I wanted. During the session, repeated offers for additonal services kept being offered. I wasn't really interested, not because of the money, I just really wasn't interested. She was super polite, sexy and very charming, but I felt like I was buying car and being offered options I didn't want. Kind of started to spoil the mood. I think she picked up on it and stopped. The session regained it's heat and ended well, just as I was getting dressed she asked if I was put off during the session. I explained that continued offers started to take the mood away but that she was wondeful in bringing us back on track. She said she understood but sometimes people during the session want to "upgrade".. for which I totally understand. She was very sweet and asked me to come back and see her and she would "make it up to me".. I just might. To be honest, I didn't lose any sleep over it and I know she was doing what she has to, I respect her for that but is it just me? Does that take away from anyone else's experience? hnh

Definately been burned by bad math in the CRs but I would not say it's part the industry, it's life in general. There will always be bad people. It's the first thing they teach us when we are little isn't it? Just need to learn to adapt on how to identify them as con artists are a special breed. Even though people are most vocal when they get burned, in relative terms, I suspect these people are very few compared to the total. Sorry to hear all who have been taken at some level by MAs, SPs etc.. They are definatley not representative of the whole. Just live and learn.. I know I have. We could start a new thread about my bankers!

Hey DMS.. I have yet to go wrong (in Ottawa at least ;) ) by three simple rules.. Check the recco board here, check CKs blogs, and pm or call the respective SP (based on the preference of her profile here at CERB) I have only been with three SPs here in Ottawa but all were wonderful, did my homework though so that they were more my type and would have chemistry.

Bad idea.... This could just put him over the edge... sounds like pity to me by tricking him.. thats just me though.. Actually, I plan on setting up one of my TO friends who is going through a hard time. He doesn't really have trouble finding dates and relationships but I want to expose him to someone... enchanting... just want to give him that new life experience and awakening... I will tell him first.. I have hinted to him for a while now and he is basically saying "go for it".. it's my dime anyway... well more than a dime but he is my buddy and he is worth it ;) Why not just setup the date. Then tell him you did something special for him... Tell him you wanted to give him a boost and that he is your buddy... He will appreciate you care for him and respect him. if he say no, well, you go ;) Guys never like to tell each other they care about each.. doesn't mean you are gay.. means you a good friend.. a brother...

Hi SA, This is a ton of feedback from a great group of people. Although I personally find that age and long term relationships a heavily linked. I should also point out that things such as this vary from person to person. The real question is how do you feel about it in the end ? Are you one for a long term committed relationship or are you one for many meaningful ones ?. There is no right answer except what feels right for you and what's in you heart. The answer to the above questions for me for example could change over time or from person to person. Well thats just me. You sound like you have a big heart and alot to share.. good on one hand but very complicating on another. Either way sending you and anyone else good vibes while you try to figure it out. hnh
