A few new ones both movies and series...well new to me Prisoners about the abduction of two girls and how it destroys the father. Actually imo despite the dark subject a good movie Munich The Edge Of War a fictional account of the start of World War 2 The Last Full Measure Archive 81 a series about a haunted apartment and a man hired to reconstruct tapes...strange story but worth a look Ozark Season 4 (season 4 part 1 part 2 comes out later) Ratched about a 1940s psychiatric hospital (watched episode 1 Season 1 watching the rest now) A few to put on your watch list A Rambling RG

Saw three new ones (well to me at least) over the past couple days The first, painful to watch, yes that bad IMO, but I still managed to watch it "The Interpeter" Don't Watch It But things picked up. A mystery political thriller, better than expected "The Ghostwriter" starring Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor. And finally "The God Committee" and no its not about the local church...its about a hospital transplant committee starring Kelsey Grammer of Cheers and Fraser fame. A couple to watch, one to avoid Another Siskel and Ebert Rambling RG

Call today...not entirely unexpected, but knee surgery for January cancelled...covid outbreak at the hospital. Tentatively rescheduled for February 25th...keeping I'm disappointed by the postponement but February isnt that far away A Rambling RG

Saw two new...well new to me movies First "Vanquish"...a so so movie imo about a 6/10. But it killed a couple hours on a cold day 😆 Second "Terminator Dark Fate"...actually rather entertaining, pleasantly surprised. Good continuation of the Terminator series of movies imo. Combination last thing purchased and highlights of the day. Went to the pharmacy to pick up one of my prescriptions. While at the pharmacy I asked if they did the vaccine. Was told yes but needed to book an appointment. I asked if I could book one now and come back on appointment day/date. Pharmacist said yes and went to book me. The Pharmacist doing the vaccines said if I don't mind waiting he'd do it in about ten minutes. I waited (less time than when I had appointments for 1st and 2nd needle) and got my booster today no appointment 🙂 Bonus...no side effects (I hope lol 🙄) Now one person...she did have some side effects...🤣 (yes tongue in cheek) A Rambling RG

Well thought today I was getting lucky...laundry room free. So I got my laundry washed or so I thought. Yes got a load in the washer. When I went to change loads around there was water coming up from the drain in the floor flooding the laundry room...second time this has happened in the past three weeks, first time to me. So I have wet laundry hanging up in the bathroom drying right now and will hopefully finish the load Monday or Tuesday Plumbing in this old apartment building has been an on going problem for as long as I can remember.
