  1. I stumbled upon this one a couple of days ago: http://www.wimp.com/moonperformance/
  2. Single person here, it's not something I'd ever do or have ever thought about. I understand why some find it exciting to do so, but it's not for me personally.
  3. I chose mine because it's easy for me to remember and because I have sapphic desires. Sappho was a Greek poet who was born on the island of Lesbos. Admittedly, I don't know much about her or the poetry so maybe I should have picked a more fitting name, but it's the best I could think of at the time.
  4. The last thing I purchased was the second season of The Walking Dead and movies Looper, and In Time.
  5. For me I feel most at peace when I am at home sitting in my backyard and looking at the stars. I love having a fire and listening to the radio (mainly Coast To Coast AM) and looking up at the stars. I know that I'm most likely not the most best spoken, but I am a pretty simple girl who likes to watch the stars. And I am a nerd who likes to listen to alternative talk radio. :) So, cerbies, where are you most at peace with yourself??
  6. A question that was inspired by cristycurves question (what is your favorite scent). So, what is your favorite sound? For me I have a couple: a woman orgasiming, kitten/cat purring and the sound of a rain storm.
  7. I don't have a very sensitive sniffer, but I enjoy the scent of sandlewood. No story behind it. I've just always been attracted to the smell.
  8. Thanks for the link. As probably the only dyke here I have to check it out, and will probably send the link forward to friends. My only question is: how do I tell my friends where I found this site? :D
  9. I am hopefully not to late in replying to this thread, but I have a couple: Clea DuVall -I've had a crush on her since forever. Plus she's a dyke so if I did have a chance to meet her I actually may have half a chance. LOL Megan Fox -love black hair and blue eyes Pink Charlize Theron
  10. I am a spiritual person who can respect that people pray for strength in certain circumstances but yes, the chanting on the beach was a bit strange. Anyone know what language it was in? At first I thought Latin since she is a seminary student but...? Does anyone have any real favorites yet?
  11. I am proud to be in the occupation that I'm in for as long as I've been in it without burning out. I am proud to have been in the army. I am proud to have been able to go on a backpack trip around Europe and North American trip by myself (being a single woman who was 17 at the time) and I am proud to be a Canadian!
  12. For non I like coffee or tea (earl grey), and for the alcoholic stuff I like vodka (pressed) or gin and tonic. Oh, or a good single malt. (Can't believe I almost forgot that! LOL)
  13. Well, IMO, it's too bad that Brit went home. Danelle and Shane need to go next. I don't have a good reason except that for some reason they bug me. If Ian plays it right then he's a winner. At this time though I think Frank has it....or maybe Dan. I can't freaken believe that Dan had them all with his last speech. He's pretty good, but I can't believe they fell for it!
  14. It also has a variety of other uses, and it is also good for increasing a woman's libido and intensity of orgasms as well. Good to hear that some natural remedies are still encouraged and work well for most! Thanks RoamingGuy for putting some possible embarrassment you might have felt to pass on information that others might be able to use. :)
  15. Cat, Were you wanting a parrot? I find that this might be a gift that might pose some problems if you weren't talking about wanting one. Do you still have it and what kind of parrot is it?
  16. I am a woman who is only interested in other women, and have seen an SP before. I haven't encountered what Jenn has. Any guy who has taken the time to pm me has been quite respectful and a pleasure to chat with. As someone has already mentioned: if they are being inapproperiate then just block them.
  17. I don't understand discrimination, but I have been through the consequences of it. As a white girl who lived in an aborginal area I was beat up frequently. I never understood it. As a gay female who has lost many friends when I came out... I don't understand it. I don't get it how someone can immediately judge a person as a whole because of skin colour, gender, orientation, etc. I've always accepted people into my life because I thought that everyone has something to give and learn from. To just cut someone off because you were born a different colour, background, orientation, etc just seems so odd to me. It's too bad that there are people out there who believe that they are right in discriminating against someone. People are people... we are all the same on the inside and that's what people should be focusing on. I feel sorry for anyone who is so closed minded that they can't open up their lives to someone who is diffeent from them. Look at all they are missing!!
  18. well I did go and see it, and I'm glad I did. It wasn't as bad or confusing as the 'word of mouth' let on. I thought it was a pretty good movie and will buy it when it comes out on DVD.
  19. I was actually going to go to this movie this evening, but with what I'm reading I think I'll wait for it to hit the cheap theatre. Thanks for the reveiws! :)
  20. Well, as a dyke, I can tell you that I usually go to the left. When kissing or hugging or whatever.... I know I am not the normal response, but if you are looking for a response like me.... I go from the left....
  21. Pretty cool car to zip around town to get some errands done. It's too bad that our government hasn't embraced this tech.
  22. ^^^^ I LOL'd! Thanks waterrat for making me shoot my wine out my nose!
