Thanks fortunateone for the additional insight into these types of situations I frankly know very little about the situation except what I read in the news coverage and appreciate that this type of coverage often has a slant to it. While I can accept that many of these ladies may have sought the assistance of these smugglers / traffickers I still find something repugnant about the nature of these operation and don't have any problem with LE focusing their efforts on these types of situations. The fact that these less than ideal situations are an improvement over the situation these ladies find themselves in their home country to me is not a reason for us to accept this type of operation. Looks like spring this year could include some unexpected fun... already have a trip planned to Halifax and just found out that I will have a business trip to Ottawa :) after a few years of less business travel I am looking forward to these trips as they will hopefully allow me to finally meet a few ladies from on here that I have been wanting to meet but they do not tour to St. John's. As i just said in another thread on this topic congratulations to the police on breaking this up... this in my opinion is not prostitution it is trafficking and sex slavery and it is good to see LE focusing their resources in this direction. Unfortunately I fear this will for many clients further increase the feeling of increased risk from being involved in this hobby and will result in some stepping back even further. For me personally I think I would be able to differentiate between the sleazy operations of this type and the reputable independents and agencies that are out there. Just to be clear I fully support the actions of police to stop this type of activity for happening...As was said by another poster this type of activity would and should be illegal under and law that is place related to prostitution. I was just commenting on the negative effect it will have on the political climate around the bigger issue of making prostitution legal in Canada. What we are talking about here is not prostitution it is human trafficking and sex slavery. I congratulate LE on their work in bringing those involved in this repugnant behavior to justice. This story does so much public opinion damage to this industry and play right into the Harper agenda. Every stereotype that opponents had about the industry gets reinforced and public support for increased enforcement of the new law is bound to increase. While I thought any significant discussion of the issue of prostitution in the pending election was minimal at best this bust will ensure that if it does come up it will be this bust being shown as an example of the new law working. Just to be clear I am not in any way saying I wish the police had not acted in this case... from the sounds of it this is just horrible and was in my mind the type of focus that LE should have. Unfortunately in lots of areas of the country where Harper is not liked the liberals and NDP will split the majority anti conservative vote resulting in close ridings some of which will go to the conservatives... Undoubtedly physical attraction will play a significant part in my initial decision to book with a lady but any follow up bookings are most likely based as much on the sexual compatibility with the lady and the chemistry we experienced in that initial meeting so I don't think changes in physical appearance would play that heavily in that decision process. In regards to ladies that I may have developed a more regular or frequent arrangement with I don't think changes in her physical appearance would be of any consideration... in that type of arrangement I am pretty sure it would be the connection with that lady that would be the most significant factor... obviously if a more regular arrangement was in place there would be amazing sexual compatibility... but to be frank good sex is not that hard to find... connection with an amazing person is and that type of connection is not just a physical thing in my opinion. Years ago when I traveled more and I was looking to meet a lady in whatever city I might be visiting I would always pull out the phone book and the local paper.... the reality now is that I can't recall the last time I looked in the paper or yellow pages... now that might just be me because I enjoy using technology. I am by no means an expert on Tin eye but from my understanding it does an extensive web search to find other sites with a matching picture which simply allows you to draw more informed conclusions regarding the picture. As for why people used fake pictures if tin eye is so easy to use... well like all the phone scams... they hope they will find enough people who will fall for it.
