I think the correct statement would be "99% of Caucasian women get mad if you tell then they have a fat ass"..... I guess us of ladies of colour are culturally raised to love our curves and accept them, since our bodies are naturally that way. Look at Beyonce, Kim Kardashian,Eva Mendes and even Nicki Minaj, all supporters of big round bootys. If you ever heard of the "TWERK TEAM" they are a famous group of girls, mentioned in lots of songs and always on interviews and in music videos, are famous for their large derrieres. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYot0uT_p2Q&oref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fresults%3Fsearch_query%3Dthe%2Btwerk%2Bteam%26oq%3Dthe%2Btwerk%2Bteam%26gs_l%3Dyoutube-reduced.12..0l2.8425.15221.0.16965.14.9.0.5.5.0.129.751.8j1.9.0...0.0...1ac.GJH1xAuS9q4&has_verified=1 Black Chyna a stripper, is so famous for her ass that Drake wrote a song about her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gWzVu_MRio&feature=endscreen&NR=1 Growing up and living in a society where where the standard of beauty is Europeanized, all models are slim and waiflike, women with my body type were starving themselves for years trying to fit that kate moss or cindy crawford look. I used to be a lot thicker, but since coming to Ottawa and being told i was too fat by gents, i slimmed down to suit this market, and have lost the large ample booty and about 2 cups sizes. i didnt loose the weight for myself, i loved my curves, but people here didnt love them i guess. When i went home for a visit, people told me to eat something, i looked anorexic, "gurl where'd your ass./titties go?" and old clients mouths dropped in shock, "where's the rest of you?' I'd explain to friends ad family that's the trend here, and that's what hey like, spinners and the like, so i had to drop the weight to fit it accordingly. Personally though, i prefer being thicker. An old club promotion flyer from a club used i to work in, pre weight loss, when i still had the ass and the 36G titties: However, nowadays, with a evolution in what is considered beautiful and the expansion of the standard of beauty to include women of ethnicity, women like the ones i previously mentioned were able to change that school of thought and now women pay big bucks to get ass implants to look ours do naturally!! lolz go figure :) Times have changed..... hopefully the trend will reach Ottawa one day.Truth be told when I am finished school and can travel I will be thick again, :) For ladies with the Badonkadonks, or "donks" for short: MAKE IT CLAP :)

Sad: I LOVE this video, it shows behind the scenes of a strip club, very accurate : "its not the right place to let your daughters visits, 'cause there's some freaks up in here and its all explicit" Personal Fave ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jakLyWA32wE Beautiful, but sad: -

Well hello there:) -
Oh by no means was that directed to you in a negative way, lol! I was just merely commenting on how cultural differences set the standards for what is the "norm" or "acceptable". Each city has their own pros and cons, i was simply pointing out how something that is strange or uncommon in one place, is perfectly acceptable or even everyday practice in another. Thats what makes the world so great, our differences! Problems come into play when people judge others simply on their outside appearance or they how they choose to adorn themselves.

@ PistolPete: I'm so sorry for the loss of your parents. What a great way to honour their memory by getting inked:) I think it depends on where you're getting tattoed. In Ottawa, i could see a policy like this being in place because it's very conservative white collar governmental town, tattoos aren't really part of the everyday accepted culture or accepted in the work place. The style of dress, cars, clothing and subculture is very "beige", very safe and no one likes to stand out. In Windsor/Detroit, we are blue collar auto workers. We are the home of Motown and everyone knows Detroit Rock city. We as people and our culture are quite flamboyant and creative, as reflected in our music, speech and dress. Tattoos are culturally part of the norm there, its quite common to have numerous tattoos before your twenties, whereas here its not very common to be tatooed at all, and if you are they are in places that are easily hidden. I've never seen facial tattoos here, and hand tattoos are rare ( i have a hand tattoo myself).I think it has to with what is culturally accepted as the "norm" or "beautiful". No one ever had an issue with my tattoo's back home or in places like Toronto or Niagara Falls, it was only when i arrived in Ottawa that some potential clients had an issue with them. It's just what you are used to i guess. I figure, if my tattoo's are a bother to a potential client , then we probably wont get along anyways, i'm wayyyy to openminded and free spirited to get along with "cookie cutters" who judge people on their differences and outside appearance, and i don't mesh well with people who think everyone should be in a nice little box and all look the same. Life is art, and its should be expressed. What is the point of having thoughts and creativity if we cannot express it? Maybe I'm just a product of my environment, but give me colour, light, noise and freedom of expression anyday!!!!

Welcome! Enjoy your stay! -
I managed to avoid getting our "Cult" tattoo as we call it back home, the Detroit "D". Everyone has it back home, everyone gets it, it is sort of a right of passage there. Eminem and Kid Rock are 2 examples: (on his forearm) on his forearm as well.... Porcelain Black (man shes fun to drink with :P) I love her tattoos, her pic is actually in my signature, her hands say " Detroit Rock City". as well as a few others: I have been with many friends on numerous occasions when they got theirs done, so many I've lost count . I was back home in May for Labour Day weekend ( the weekend after Victoria Day weekend here in Canada), and i was sitting on the porch with a few friends talking about tatt's. One asked when I'm going to get my "D" done, since I'm kinda old not to have mine yet (we usually get it done sometime in highschool) and if I wanted he'd take me right now to get it. All my friends (that have had theirs forever) chimed in that they'd pay for it....I convinced them we should go to belle isle and party instead but i guess I'll have to suck it up and get mine sooner or later lol :P

I love my tattoos. They all have meaning, and whenever i look at them i remember that period in my life, I can look back and smile. The one i have that takes up my whole left thigh is my fave, it was birthday present from a very close friend who drew it and tatooed it just for me. I represents me and my story; my life and who i am. I know no one will ever have that tattoo, its mine and mine alone. It is a life changing experience getting one, it changes you as you now have a marker in time, i.e. before this tattoo and after. Its almost like taking a photograph to me, freezing a moment in time. I have 8, i will always remember who i was with and what i was doing at that time in my life when i got them . I look at them its like looking back fondly over a scrapbook of my life, mementos that are always with me. To me,they symbolize something important to the wearer, something they want to express to the world. I always loved tattoos, I come from a place where almost everyone has quite a few, full bodies even. I'm done getting new tattoos, i might add to my existing ones, but at this time i think im done, except for my father's tattoo's. I think my love affair with ink started as a young child looking at his arms, i was fascinated with their beauty and begged for one ever since i can remember. I was with him when i got my first one, it was a great day i will always remember and cherish , it's truly one of my best memories. I always told him when he passes i will get his tattoos, maybe even in the same places as a tribute to the greatest man i have ever known :) To me thats what tattoos are a tribute on your body to someone or something that's eternal. To love/cherish something that much is true beauty.

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you, a ladies phone should never be on during appts. Stick to reputable providers here on cerb with an established presence and lots of good reviews, us professional ladies know how to conduct ourselves in a way that is pleasurable and respectful to our clients:) Sorry to all the clients that still have to deal with this nonsense, turning your phone off is pretty basic, "escorting 101". These "providers" that still operate like this give the rest of us who try our best a bad name, and for that I am truly sorry.

Question for all girls today
LuxeMulvari replied to Porto Lover's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
I LOVE the heat :) I rarely run my a/c, but I do have one :) Being from the south, I grew up in a hot climate, where I'm from temps are similar to southern California. I grew up wearing shorts 70% of the time, and I am not a big fan of clothing.I was born in the summer during record high temps, so i started my life in the heat :) I am a sun baby for sure! My first winter here in Ottawa, i though i was going to die, my bones felt like they were freezing. That being said, i don't need to cool down much, but for those looking to escape the heat, a lovely mutual shower usually does the trick.......although things seem to heat up again quite quickly afterwards.......... -
Becoming a doctor
LuxeMulvari replied to LuxeMulvari's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Thank you for the wondeful suggestion of nursing. I have been in school since 2009, i have a degree in Aboriginal studies, and am going to complete my second degree in Business this year (2012-2013). I realize how serious of a commiment this is, i have spoken to many people, i realize i'm looking at 10 plus years of school. Being in my early 20's, time is on my side. I stated in my original post that i realize what a commitment this is, thats why after speaking to numerous doctors, i still want opinions to get the facts, hence this thread. I'm no stranger to education, i was in gifted classes when i was younger. The reason I didn't follow a more "traditional" road in my life is I do not like to conform to society, it bores me quite simply.Traditional 9-5 hum drum life is my idea of hell, it really never suited me, I get bored easily and i am a free spirit; I roam as I please. That's why I'm an escort. Being a doctor will allow me to work anywhere in the world, but I'd like to work with sp's as in street help and general practice, since many health care providers discriminate against us. ER would be good too, since I like working under pressure. If I'm going to pursue this, (I've been toying with the idea for about 6 months), I'm going to go all the way, because as anyone that knows me will tell you, I do nothing half asked, and when i decide I'm doing something, there's no stopping me. There was a lady I was told about when i was going to shoot for Score Magazine back in 2010, Sharon Mitchell, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharon_Mitchell a former pornstar who is now a doctor, who invented a system called AIM testing, which all porn actors/actresses have to get. I had to go to Detroit to get this testing done, it's not performed in Canada, only the U.S. and it's quite expensive. Regular testing can take up to 6 months to show HIV infection. I guess she figured out that once you have HIV, it alters your DNA, meaning its visible by testing the DNA, and she figured this out and subsequently, how to test to show infection within 10 days of the subject being infected. With AIM testing, You also get special papers where you are indentified by either your passport # or driver's license #, that way on set each actor/actress can see the papers and know they are working safe, you cannot lie, because you have to show each other the corresponding I.D. along with your AIM papers. This is now the standard in the porn industry, you cannot work if you do not have AIM testing, period. So if a former porn star can do all that, I think this SP can be an MD. -
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone in the medical profession could help me on this one. I'm about to finish my degree in business, this coming school year i will be finished. I come from a family where nursing is quite prevalant, my grandmother was a nurse since 14 and a have 3 cousins in nursing. In my hometown Windsor, a border city, i have alot of American friend with no insurance, and have done stitches and popped arms back into sockets before. Now i know it's not the same, but i really like to help people, and i really like school. I like to fix people. Blood doesnt scare me either, and I think with my degree being over, i would like to continue my education in the medical field. I realize you you have to go to school for a very long time, but I'm willing to make the effort. I've been looking into schools, asking around. Ultimately, I'd like to work in emergency, i work best under pressure with a time frame. My science marks are good, math is ok, but not above average( i understand algebra and the like, but math isn't my favourite). My highest marks are in languages. I would really like to hear some opinions, to help guide me to the right people. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? thank you for your time :)
