    He was a man that devoted his entire adult life to his country, first as a USN aviator and then as a Congressman and a Senator. I thought he showed his true character while during a presidential campaign rally a man and woman made a very rude, racist comments about his opponent, Barack Obama. He could have fed the anti-Obama sentiments and used it to further his own political goals. Instead, he politely told the lady that she was wrong, Obama was a very good, honorable man who would make a good president, but he (McCain) would make a better president. A very classy and honorable man. If only there were more politicians like him in all parties and all countries. RIP Mr. McCain.

    Unfortunately P411 is not accepting new clients or providers at this time. Perhaps that will change in the future. Too bad as you had a high level of confidence that all the members (clients & providers) were legitimate since they had to be verified by other members.

    Finally got to meet Hannah after several attempts to find common availability. I can easily say it was well worth the patience and effort. I arrived at her new downtown location and was greeted by an incredibly beautiful young lady. She offered me a beverage from her bar, a classy reflection of her time spent with Ruby (a.k.a. Amber) and we spent a little bit of time getting to know each other. As has been mentioned before, she is as much fun to spend time with talking as doing other things in the bedroom. Once in the bedroom though she is consumed with ensuring your pleasure. Fortunately, I think much of what brings me pleasure also pleases her. What ever metrics you may choose (location, looks, attitude, skills, enthusiasm, etc.) she will meet or exceed them all.     Regardless whether you keep the weight off or put some back on you are a lovely person. We should all be so confident with the bodies we have. But yes, advertise with current pictures so that potential clients know who they are going to meet, because as you said, guys don't always read and are more visual. On the plus side, keeping older albums helps show your style, personality, and chronicles your life journey. Finally congratulations on your weight loss. I know it's not easy to change your life style and eating habits as I need to lose a bit as well. Maybe we need to start a page here for healthier life choices.

    I was at your first event and it was a great time meeting many of the ladies of OIC as well as fellow hobbyists in support of the OIC in a fun social environment. Unfortunately I won't be available to attend but good luck and to anyone that's on the fence about going, just do it. Guarantee you will enjoy yourself.

    There are also many well established providers that advertise on LeoList that choose not to verify their pictures for various reasons. Therefore, you can't assume that if they don't have verified pictures they are not reputable providers. As Meaghan McLeod said, you still have to do your research.

    One option is theotherboard.com, it has both ads and reviews, It's free but as Phaedrus mentioned, this, like many other boards, seems to have regional popularity. An advertising only board is Eros.com but beware of a lot of B&S ads, you need to do your research. I had a couple of others but they aren't coming to me at the moment, lost the info when we lost access to our notes here on Lyla.

    I had moved away for 4 years and after moving back was slowly getting back into the local scene. I was happy to be welcomed to the first OIC gathering last fall. Shortly after arriving I saw a lovely lady that I had seen a couple of times before moving away. I went to speak with her and shortly after saying hello she says "I remember you!". I assumed she was just being polite. I made an appointment to meet her not long after that. When I walked through the door she said again I remember you and started to tell me about some of the things we had done or spoken about all those years ago. It blew me away. Either she has the most incredible memory or I must have done something to make an impression. My fragile male ego chooses to believe the latter and I took it as a great compliment that she remembered so much about me. 😉

    Had the great pleasure of meeting Lea today. I arrived on time and was asked to wait a few minutes. It was well worth the wait. Lea is a beautiful, petite spinner with a wonderful personality and incredible skills. Anytime I asked for something she reacted like it was her favourite activity in the world and dove in enthusiastically. As beautiful as she is, I think I was most mesmerized by her eyes. When she looks at you, you feel like you are a very special, and lucky friend.... with benefits. Definitely will be repeating.

    Very valid point Christine. I don't hobby frequently enough to expect a lady to remember me. Although, I got reacquainted with one lady who immediately after I walked through the door claimed to remember me from about 4 years ago! I doubted that but then she started to tell me things from our last visit which amazed me. I used to keep discrete notes, really just memory joggers - not anything detailed, about past visits in my notes so that I could remind the lady of when we met or something memorable that occurred. Still hoping that the site administrators will be able to recover our Notes pages.

    Unfortunately you can't fix stupid. But for those of us that actually read an SP's ad, website, etc., I think it helps us determine if there is a possible fit and reduce the number of nuisance text/emails to the provider. Personally, it goes a long way for me in helping choose who I would like to contact and I'm also aware of any screening requirements, restrictions or preferences of the provider which I keep in mind to do my part in creating an enjoyable session for us both.

    I think to the OP's point, knowing an approximate area that the SP is working, particularly when looking for an in-call appointment, helps the clients determine who they want to contact. Not having to contact the SP for a general location also saves the SP time not answering messages from clients that wouldn't have contacted them if they knew the SP was not in an area they wanted to travel to. The more information that the SP can make available within the ad or linked to their website, within their comfort zone, the more the clients can filter out who they really want to see and not bother the SP with nuisance questions. So maybe the advertiser has to ask who their target audience is and how many messages they want to respond to from clients that wouldn't have otherwise messaged them. 😉 Nicolette's comment on putting the location in the title also eliminates problems with using Google Maps.

    I don't think it's wrong to ask and I would have no problem providing a general description of myself, after all I have more than a general description of the lady I'm going to meet (assuming they have posted recent photos and have been honest with their own description). However, to avoid creating the impression that you might be screening potential clients based on physical attributes or ethnicity, perhaps wait to ask until after you have completed your screening and accepted them as a client.

    I've never requested a specific outfit and enjoy the pleasant surprise of seeing what's waiting for me behind the door. I have found that the ladies I've met that dress in what makes them feel confident or sexy always look hot, regardless if its a LBD, lingerie, or a robe. It's an expression of their personality, perhaps a bit of who they are or part of their persona that they want to reveal to you.

    My preference are professional photos. They are of higher quality and if the lady chooses to can be a reflection of their personality. Some ladies take very nice selfies and when they take the time they can be very good. However, just photos of the "bits" or the seemingly compulsory bathroom shot don't do much for me. If you do take selfies though, be careful to look around to ensure that the room is tidy and you aren't leaving anything out that may compromise your privacy. There is a time and place for both styles of photos but in the end you need to stick with what makes you comfortable.

    I haven't seen her but it helps if you can provide a link or at least say where you found her ad. Sometimes names change but someone might recognize a picture, etc. Good luck.

    Shoot each of them a private message. Politely tell them what you are looking for and engage them in a conversation. You are also more likely to get a positive response if you share a little about yourself, it's a two-way street after all. Then you can make an informed decision. Caution though, don't waste their time with dozens of messages. Their time is as valuable as yours so don't waste it. Good luck.

    In the end, at the risk of sounding crass, it all comes down to marketing. I've seen ads in which ladies show their face, I like them but don't recommend it for security, and some don't. Some ladies obscure their tats for security, others don't. Some have personal websites, others use sites like Lyla. I agree it is up to the guys to do their research, but in the case of new providers there may not be much info to go on and we don't have the resources of Homeland Security. So those ladies may want to look at providing verified pictures until they are established. Again, various ways to market oneself. And by the way, there appears to be a way to have your professional pictures verified so you don't have to hold a cheesy sign or feel you have thrown away the money spent on the pro pictures. The analogy was used of guys doing extensive research for major purchases. This is true, but a big part of that research is what the company provides in the way of information about itself and do we feel we can trust what is said. As stated by others, many of the ladies already provide a lot of information or there are reviews, etc, that the gentlemen can research and that should be sufficient. As I said before, Lyla will remain my primary source to meet you lovely ladies. All other comments are just observations/opinions of a consumer. Regardless, the bottom line is that the ladies should never do anything, or feel forced to do anything, they aren't comfortable with or may endanger them.

    Interesting article and great responses Lindsay. Good luck with the project. I had also heard from another lady that US Border Protection will identify sex workers based on tattoos that appear in their ads which is why she chooses to blur or remove them from her pictures. Law enforcement can be very creative and resourceful when it comes to identifying persons of interest.
