  1. She is "broken" and you are better off without her. Buy this book right away: http://www.doclove.com/
  2. Another newbie question. Restaurants have slow Mondays & Tuesdays. Overall, are there particularly slow days of the week, or is it just random? I can assume (although I might be making an ass of me) that on weekdays it?s busier around noon and just after 5pm; are there times of the day that it?s typically a bit slower? My reason for asking is that my schedule can be more flexible than most, so filling in a slow time of the day for a SP could be a win-win scenario.
  3. Thanks for the tip Emily. I'm guessing the real "catch" to the very low priced ads is what you're likely to "catch".
  4. All of this makes two things jump into my head: A) President Clinton?s definition of sex B) Charlie Harper?s (Sheen?s) definition of the "Girlfriend experience" with an SP - "You read a magazine ignoring me while I watch sports center"
  5. Chrildren! What a turn off! (I don't have any as you can probably guess)
  6. Hi All: I'm new to Toronto and stumbled across "Now" and "Eye Weekly" - something that seems to good to be true probably is... What's the deal on these ads? Are the rates for real or is there some catch?
  7. To keep everything 100% legal, don't forget to file a Canadian income tax return. The CRA (our IRS) doesn't give two hoots where the income originates, if you have work permits, etc., as long as they get their cut. You'll get credit on your US return for taxes paid to Canada so you won't be double taxed. Here's some reading if you have trouble sleeping: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/t4058/README.html
  8. Congrats. I joined that club last summer, damn if I can remember which month.
  9. Since your BIOS doesn't power state support, here's what you need: http://www.bomara.com/cps/apb.htm
  10. Connect a PC with VGA output to work with an HDMI display or monitor: http://ca.startech.com/product/VGAHD2HDMI-VGA-HD-with-Audio-to-HDMI-Format-Converter
  11. Thanks, I must be going blind not to have seen that!
  12. It doesn't say on her site - how tall is she?
  13. Slip ups happen, and not all of them need to be compensated for. You may have won the battle but lost the war if you pushed too hard and pissed them off. Bank employees are people too and they can get back at you without you ever knowing about it, like when you slip up and want an interest charge waived, they?ll remember this (or read the note in your file) and refuse, or when this mortgage comes up for renewal, you may not get the lowest rate they could offer. If you are out of pocket that?s one thing, if you?re just looking for something for nothing that is another.
