  1. My deepest sympathies to you on the passing of this special person. Posted via Mobile Device
  2. For me the top british comedies are Yes Minister / Yes Prime Minister, On the Busses, and Fawlty Towers (John Cleese is my favorite of the Monty Python troupe) Posted via Mobile Device
  3. I've had experience with 2 different Shi Tzu's and they are a great bread with a great little personality. In both cases the puppies were very playful, intelligent and loyal. Their personalities are almost like little kids albiet a bit michievious at times. Being a small breed you don't need a huge outdoor space for them. One word of advice is that this breed is prone to being spoiled so how well they are trained is a big factor. For example feeding them from the table (which I was very much guilty of) will ensure you have a permanent (and sometimes unwelcomed dinner companion) for every meal. These dogs are so cute that even the owners sometimes need some training as well :-) Whichever type of puppy you choose I wish you all the best.
  4. Posted via Mobile Device Additional Comments: I have to agree with Cleo and Toine that you should look at netbooks also. I'm a recent convert to the netbook after being steered away from them by some of my techie buddies. In my job I'm in and out of a lot of meetings which is almost like being back in school. I find the battery life much better than a laptop, most days a fully charged netbook lasts me the whole day depending on what I'm doing (was using an HP laptop and although i was happy with the machine the battery left a lot to be desired as it's down to 2 hours at best). The size and portability along with the battery life is what sold me. I find I can do pretty much anything with a netbook as i can with a laptop. I can use any office docs/PDF etc that are needed. If memory an issue then you can store notes or docs on a cloud server so they're accessible but not taking up memory. Posted via Mobile Device
  5. Hi Malika All the best for a great Birthday! :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  6. I spend more time on CERB as I find it to have more intelligent discussions and debates as well as being much more interactive. I use FB too (mostly for keeping in contact with friends). I'm not on Twitter myself but follow a few people who have twitter feeds on other sites.
  7. My dating experience of the past 8 years has been pretty horrible overall 5 GF's in that time with only one decent one in the 5. The first one was super selfish and so extremely self focused that everything had to be perfectly her way and done immediately to her unrealistic standards (she was looking for more of a sugar daddy than a BF). Thankfully the others were not to that extreme. 3 of the 4 remaining GF's were just looking for someone to string along while they were looking for a better deal (despite saying they were looking for a relationship with me) and still actively dating while seeing me and without warning I get a cowardly email or text saying "I've met someone...you're a nice guy...good luck". The other was a genuinely nice person but it just didn't work out. The odd dates in between were not particularly enjoyable - more like job interviews (actually I can recall some job interviews that were more enjoyable). For some reason I seem to attract girls who are extremely materialistic - some just hide it better than others. I have many platonic female friends who I get along with very well which lets me know I do know to act around women. Although I'm no movie star I'm not Jabba the Hut either (I'm a shorter / stalky build). Also my job keeps me quite busy and carries an unpredictable schedule at times. With such a dubious history, I have given up on conventional dating as it's obviously not working for me and was certainly not fun. In the past I've burried myself in work and hanging out with friends but that still leaves a void. I thought about it for quite a while and realized that there was a better way (and after some internet surfing can across CERB). I realize that this lifestyle is not a replacement for a conventional romantic relationship, but it does address things that have been lacking for me these past few years. To touch on another thread I have no objections to paying for companionship, in the past I've spent more money on dinners gifts etc for GF's or dates who likely never appreciated much of it - all I had were their empty promises or job interview type dates. So I don't really see the difference, in fact the ladies on CERB conduct themselves with much more integrity and honesty than most of my ex-GF's did. Last but not least there is the fun factor - which brings me to the point where I have recently met a "purrfect" SP. Apart from the obvious fun factor (which was never lost on me) there was the social fun aspect which was actually fun and enjoyable for a change because there were no games, nothing was rushed, she was much more understanding and perceptive than my ex's. I could not have asked for a better introduction (which I plan to repeat in the next couple of weeks). After giving up so much over the past few years I realize that I have to start taking care of myself and my needs as well.
  8. ...when you now shop at the same grocery store you worked at as a teenager in the late 80's and most of the current staff hadn't been born yet (that point actually came up in conversation with a cashier recently and kindly pointed out that fact). The driver's Ed car was a dodge K car (and part of your "in car" training was driving to the instructor's house to pick up his empties and drive to the beer store so he could cash them in) Going to the Drive In (let alone watching the original Superman movies and Caddyshack all in their original releases) And the topper... The goth/punk girl who had the locker beside you in high school is now a gray haired soccer mom (confirmed at a recent high school reunion) Posted via Mobile Device
  9. I've had the pleasure of visiting with Cleo the other evening and the first thing that comes to mind is WOW! (or for Cleo it would be MEOW!). By nature I'm a shy person and I could not have asked for a more perfect lady to visit with as this was my first visit to an SP. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted by a gorgeous tattooed lady with a hug a kiss. Everything that followed was abosultely excellent. The visit was fun enjoyable, never a missed beat and not at all rushed (which was very important to me). Cleo knew how to do everything perfectly and just right (her touches, kisses and ...). It was as if we had known each other for quite some time but we had only just met, which speaks volumes of her attentiveness and perception. From the social time when we first met, to the shower we took together and the fun we ended up having was wonderful from start to finish. 90 minutes just flew by, I left feeling like a million dollars. I can't wait to visit again!
  10. Malika, I'm sorry you had to deal with such an idiot, you didn't deserve something like that. Some of the threads have mentioned that SP's are providing a fanatasy. I only partially agree with those statements. Fantasy is only one factor a guy will choose a particular SP and that fantasy has to be provided under the concept of "reasonable accommodation". By that I mean the fantasy can never be all encompassing. For example a client may request the lady wear a cute little nurses outfit - it would be unreasonable for the client to expect actual medical equipment and a hospital bed to be provided to complete the fantasy. There has to be a limit of what is expected from the SP under the reasonableness test. The client acted shamefully in this instance and nothing can excuse his behavior. In a society with many varied cultures and faiths one can never go under the assumption that everyone will agree with his morals and beliefs (if that is the case he is lining himself up for a nervous breakdown if this is his reaction in a single instance. That is just my opinion. Posted via Mobile Device
  11. I can't picture myself buying clothes online either (as mentioned in a previous post some companies have peculiar ways of measuring) would rather try stuff of and have alterations done where I bought the items. I do enjoy actual shopping in a retail store and would hate to see my favorite stores close down. However in the past few years I have also gotten on the online shopping bandwagon to a degree...iTunes (of which I have generously partaken of) Amazon and EBay. like some others have said I like to look for hard to find items such as books, DVD etc which I likely would never have found in Ottawa. 12. In my opinion I think that any kind of "prefered customer status" is a bad idea. I am in total agreement with Malika, Roamingguy, Angela and Cleo. The underlying reason for meeting on a regular basis should be based on respect, chemistry, fun and how a SP made you feel (not on a monetary value). If the first meeting was great then future meetings should be allowed to develop naturally. Personally if I saw such a "preferred client" program I would not book with that person, it would a huge turn off for me (knowing I will be tracked/counted/graded everytime I walk through the door - no thank you). I don't even like to like to track my air miles points :-) let alone would want to have to track "other" types of points (or worse yet have to get a card stamped each time as Cleo jokingly suggested). Any sales person will tell you clients who are only shopping around for discounts are generally not worth taking on and will not be loyal for long. There are many beautiful ladies on this site who have profiles, pictures and postings that should give someone a good indication of what level of chemistry to expect. To elaborate on Malika's earlier post, either the chemistry is there or it is not there - on a personal level.
  13. I've had the pleasure of getting massages from Amanda on two separate occasions and she was amazing both times. She has a sparkling and outgoing personality that put me at ease immediately (particularly as I am quite shy my nature). I could not have asked for a better match. Amanda is not only a gorgeous girl (as others have mentioned her other assets are amazing and makes for the best finish!) but also an excellent massuse. I would highly recommend her! 14. Paradise Spa (Amanda) would get my vote :-) Posted via Mobile Device
