Some excellent advice above from people in the know. I'm new to this too; i've only seen 2 providers (one of the ladies 3 times and the other only once but excellent experiences. If the time comes when you want to date, having already found a provider will be a major benefit. I find i'm way more relaxed when putting up with women who want to drag out things until you eventually (if ever) have sex. But i've been single a lot longer than you, so enjoy the beautiful providers before jumping back in the dating pond ! PS Randy, can you send me those tips too ? Thanks

My teenagers love the show but it didn't hook me. Of course, I started watching it in the middle with them so maybe that's not giving the show a fair shake. They did however get me watching 'True Detective' which I was surprised to find was an excellent series ! Can't wait for season 2 !

Glad to hear it worked out for you - that's great ! Now hopefully she'll know to tell you if there is an issue going on in her life. Cautionary note though, as a man that has been in and out of the dating scene (from one night stands to long term relationships in amongst a bunch of varying length ) , i would consider that 1 strike against her. And i have a 2 strike rule as opposed to 3 strikes unless i'm with a girl for a long time and know she's worth the effort. Regardless of what was in her mind, you sound like a good guy and she should have let you know what was going on (without the effort you had to go through). But regardless - have fun :)

I'm new to the world of SP's as of this summer. I saw a beautiful girl that is very intelligent and i'll be seeing her again shortly. I was telling a friend of mine that's divorced too and sick of the dating scene (we call POF Plenty of Flakes :) about my experience. He's thinking of trying a SP and asked me how to approach it. I told him from the one girl i've met, and from the women's profiles i've seen on this site, to treat it the same as if he got a response from a beautiful girl that's smart on the dating site. She decides if she's going to see you or not. Read her profile, be nice, remember your manners, and she'll let you know how it will roll :)

Some good advice above to your situation. I've been online dating on & off for a few years (not sure if that's how you met the girl). It can be a strange experience; I've dated women and thought things were going nicely - then they just stop responding to texts. I always assume they've met someone they like better; which is why i never stop my online communications with other women until things get serious (sex :) with one of them. Good luck - hope you hear from her ; you at least deserve an explanatory text.

Single - already had my kids with my ex-wife and they're great kids ! And i'm with Roamingguy - if I'd known about this sooner, I would have saved myself the hassle of dating, expectations I couldn't (or wouldn't fill) , coffee and dinner dates etc and skipped right to hobbyist !

I'm a shower - but that can be a pain sometimes ; a lot of blood loss so sometimes i gotta be careful about holding off too long - no pun intended ! Good topic
