IMLO, an indy's place of business is safe as long as it isn't open for walk-ins from the public. An appartment, condo, house, etc. would be private property and cannot be breached. It seems to me that the best scenario for an indy is to have a place where you have to buzz or call to come up. That way, LE would have to identify themselves and be let in (which won't happen). Even if they get in the building some other way, and come knocking at the door, they can't just enter without permission of the owner or someone who is occupying the premises. I think its best not to answer the knock at the door during a session no matter what, but even if one did without thinking, the police can't just walk in unless they have a warrant or are invited. If they enter without a warrant, any evidence gathered from the illegal search and anything that derives from it will be deemed inadmissible in Court because it would be considered the fruit of the poisonous tree. I don't want to sound as though I'm discouraging anyone from going to public spas. IMO some of the wildest sessions go on at such places. And wild is fun. I really don't think this new law will change much practically speaking in any event. Penises have been chasing vaginas since the beginning of time. Why stop now? If Eve hadn't put out from day one, none of us would be here! :icon_biggrin:

Thanks all. RG may have coined the new catch phrases for this. I like ''platonic cuddling'' (i.e. simple affection, no more) and "PJ's on''. And that's what I actually meant when I was saying I would go for that from time to time. I totally agree with Summer that it may get confusing if everyone starts using cuddling or snuggling are code words. RG - I note that the lady in B.C. is offering very competitive rates because it only involves platonic cuddling. I think the rates reflect what is being offered. Hasn't it always been the case when seeing a MA? Heck, based on this I just might start my own platonic cuddling service for lonely women in Ottawa. I can turn my home into the Snuggle Bunny Ranch.

IMLO, the practical issues are a lack of evidence of illegal activity, low enforcement resources and the lack of cooperation from the judicial system. 1. It is difficult to obtain evidence without a search warrant, and a search warrant requires probable cause of illegal activity. It's like the chicken and the egg, which comes first... In the case of businesses operating in a private location, I've already covered that: it will never happen because there is no right of entry. In terms of spa's, I've said previously that private member's clubs avoid the issue and spa's open to walk-ins should IMO establish some form of intercom or door locking practices if they are raided so as to give everyone a head's up LE is there. I figure 28 seconds is enough to get dressed (just tried it). And to add on my previous post, if you are ever arrested immediately says only 4 words: ''I want a lawyer'' and shut up. No charges will stick and you'll walk away. 2. Police budgets are limited and Crown prosecutors find these types of cases childish. I know a few prosecutors in Ottawa. They are interested in serious offences, not political agendas brought forward by a conservative government that will, IMHO, fail to obtain a majority government (if any) at next year's election (FYI I have no affiliation or loyalty to any political party). Prosecutor's are generally overworked and most won't want to go to trial. 3. With regards to the judicial process, let's not forget the concept of pre-charge diversion programs (i.e. John School) to avoid ruining family lives over one moment of indiscretion. If it's your first offence, typically they will send the guys down that route. No one will know and you won't have a criminal record. Spas and Businesses may get stiffer treatment, but I sincerely doubt it as long as they stay low profile and don't employ anyone against their will. Well, it's not even 9:00am and I'm already talking about Law, so it's time for coffee now. :icon_biggrin:

I agree with Sentimental that I'd prefer that the lady gets the entire amount and not share a door fee with the spa, so that's why I tend to be a generous tipper. I expect that several spa MA's rely on the spa providing the location, security and advertizing. If you are indy, then you need a place to operate out of, perhaps a massage table, and you have to get all your clients yourself and deal with the occasional idiot too. Now, getting your clients probably wouldn't be an issue for the lady who started this thread (Malibu, you are total babe! :icon_biggrin:), but it might be for some.

Some spas have cameras in the room, but I do not believe you're going on YouTube... Perhaps some perv's private collection. Haha I agree with Phaedrus on the issue of scheduling. It allows much more flexibility for booking last minute. It also works great if the MA you have booked an appointment is feeling sick or has to cancel last-minute: you can substitute rather easily with another MA at the same location. That's why I find Angel's Touch, Paradise Spa and CMJ in Ottawa so awesome: you are garanteed a good time with a hot girl when you show up. There are just too many to choose from. :icon_wink:

IMLO, LE has no legal right to enter the premises of an MA's private location. It is private property and they would need to have a search warrant issued by a Superior Court Judge to enter on site, and even then LE is not allowed to enter by force. They typically wait for the owner of the property to arrive. This idea of busting down doors is only on tv. Neither the MA nor the gentleman would agree to open the door while someone is knocking during a session. So, just finish the session and then leave. Even if LE intercepts the gentleman or the MA on their way out, LE will have no evidence that any illegal activity has taken place. By the way, if you are ever intercepted you have no obligation to speak to the police other than to identify yourself. Just don't say a word and walk away. If they try to stop you, just ask if you're under arrest. If the answer is no, you are legally allowed to just walk away and not say a word. And with regards to spa's, this is one of the reasons I like CMJ Ottawa so much (and also because of Melodie and friends :icon_biggrin:). It's a private member's club, so it's not a public place. Their front door is locked at all times and members have to buzz in on camera and identify themselves as a member with an appointment to get in. Either way, private locations are the way to go... and nothing illegal ever goes on there.. Have fun!

I would seriously like a cuddling session. If I could find someone in Ottawa that would offer this service at those kinds of rates, I would try it. I'm not saying that I would not see _ _'s as well, but it would be nice to mix it up with some real affection. Life as a playboy has its perks. It is getting addictive. I might just start slipping with names. But I do not want to highjack this thread... I think the initial question was how can we choose when there are so many hotties around. Quite the dilemma. I have been noticying that there are many more _ _'s on the main add sites than before. Is the market shrinking for _ _ 's?

I feel the same way as Someguy. Too many ladies to choose from and I feel somewhat obligated to keep in touch with old friends. That, and some _ _'s will text, PM or email me asking if they will see me soon. The toughest part I find is when attending a spa and the hostess that greets you at the door or answers the phone is not the girl you are there to see. I've been asked a few times ''Are you here to see me?'' and it is very awkward to say no, because I have seen several of them before and I love them all. At which point/frequency does it become awkward to see someone? By the way, I am curious as to what kind of budget guys devote to this. I am sure everyone is different, but at what point should one seek help? :icon_lol: Is $4,000-$5,000 in a month too much? (even if you can afford it) I'm starting to think that I might have to do more duos or trios just to see all those ladies each month. :icon_razz:

The main reason I would choose a spa over an independent is that certain spa's have established a great reputation. I prefer CMJ (mostly because of Melodie :icon_biggrin:), but there are other great places in Ottawa and it surely depends on what type of experience you're looking for. Also, CMJ hold parties regularly which allows you to meet several ladies socially before making a decision as to who you'll see. They also offer trifectas (3 at once), which I have not seen available anywhere else (but I could be wrong). I have been told that CMJ's policy is to make sure that members do not run into one another (outside the parties of course). I would think that accidental bump-ins are unlikely. Hasn't happened to me. And I agree with the post by mmad: If I did run into someone I know at a spa, I think I would probably befriend them even more. It might be cool to know someone in Ottawa to share experiences with. Hell, I might even offer to participate in a trifecta with them... Just saying. Not attending spa's? I think you're missing out. But if I did meet an indy that I clicked with, let's say at a cerb social, then yeah I'd consider seeing them privately. Or if a spa girl I liked went indy, I would certainly see her privately after she left. But again, check out CMJ!

Melodie is really an amazing person. Witty, warm, sensual, caring, playful, seductive: she has it all. I have seen her a few times and it never ceases to amaze me how I leave her arms feeling genuinely happy, every time. And her laugh is contagious. IMO, she is a master MA with a soft touch. I have not yet me the lovely Mackenzie, but I will have to make a new friend and post again.

Very frustrating indeed. An SP friend of mine alos relates that she keeps getting calls and texts from numbers that are cloned/hijacked. She calls back, and the person who answers is an elderly woman and has no idea what she's talking about.
