1. Sad. I love this show. It can never be the same without him. I wonder if the lower ratings reported in this story has a correlation with the amount of people who no longer have cable. I am one of those people that would have tuned in last year, but since I don't have cable anymore, I cannot anymore. Also, I enjoy the plug about now being a good time to buy shares....
2. I would like to invite you to come over to spend some quality, fun-filled time with me Feb 15-21. I am a smart, sexy girl next door type, who has an unquenchable wild side. I am a petite blonde, 5' and 110 lbs. I love what I do, and love to please. I am anxious to re-connect with some of you, and excited to meet someone new. However, if we have not met yet, please keep in mind that I will not accept last minute bookings. I will be located at an amazing unique location near downtown Halifax. Please PM me to book, or if you require any additional information. In addition, as always, I am available to come visit you at a location of your choosing at anytime. Looking forward to seeing you soon ;-) Carrie
3. So... I admit, I voted conservative (please don't hate me). I liked their stance on tougher jail time. Although decisions have been made that I do not agree with, I was still not convinced that another party would be any better. However, I have come across a headline this morning that has convinced me.... This is just too much, and is quite scary when you contemplate it......... But while reading, please also keep in mind "Anti-terrorism bill to be supported by Liberals, Justin Trudeau says" Although it is also a great way to see how the 'leaders' conform to the views of the masses(?). Where do they get their poll results ? "In Canada, yet another polling firm this week described terrorism as a winning issue for the prime minister's party." http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/anti-terrorism-talk-harper-and-obama-sound-like-yin-and-yang-1.2949175
Anti-terrorism talk: Harper and Obama sound like yin and yang The last few days have shown vivid differences in the way the leaders of Canada and the United States discuss terrorism and the threat posed by Islamist fighters. One raises the alert level. The other dials it down. It's been like a linguistic laboratory, with the chance to compare the choice of words from Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama over a similar time period. In a one-week span, the American leader issued his 2015 National Security Strategy and spoke to religious leaders, while the Canadian leader introduced new anti-terror legislation. Harper wants people to know that the danger's on the rise. In just one snippet of one speech, the prime minister referred two or three times to an escalating threat. "A great evil has been descending upon our world, an evil which has been growing more and more powerful: violent jihadism," the prime minister said in a Jan. 30 speech on new anti-terror legislation. "(It) is one of the most dangerous enemies our world has ever faced. In parts of Asia and Africa, jihadists are finding shelter in failed states and ungoverned territories. "And under their influence, attacks and plots outside these regions have become more frequent and more dangerous in Australia, in France and in Belgium just recently, and of course here at home in Canada. We cannot avoid the stark reality. Jihadist terrorism is not a future possibility, it is a present reality." That same stark message was driven home in the latest weekly video posted online by his office, the narrator describing a "growing threat" to Canada and Canadian families. The U.S. administration, on the other hand, warns against fear. In introducing the latest U.S. National Security Strategy, Susan Rice said she knows the risks because she begins every morning with a briefing on issues like terrorism, the Arab uprisings, Russian aggression, Ebola, and cyber-attacks. U.S. security adviser warns against 'alarmism' "But too often, what's missing here in Washington is a sense of perspective. Yes, there is a lot going on. Still, while the dangers we face may be more numerous and varied, they are not of the existential nature we confronted during World War Two or during the Cold War," the national security adviser said in a speech. "We cannot afford to be buffeted by alarmism in a nearly instantaneous news cycle." Obama National Security Strategy U.S. National security adviser Susan Rice outlined Barack Obama's foreign policy priorities on Friday. The 29-page document, meant to serve as a blueprint for the president's final two years in office, forecasts no major shifts in the military campaign against Islamic State militants. (J. Scott Applewhite/Associated Press) Terrorism figured prominently in the security strategy, but only as one big issue among many others. It mentioned terrorism 37 times. It also mentioned other destabilizing issues, like climate change 19 times, cybersecurity 19 times, poverty 15 times and disease or Ebola 17 times. The president wrote the introduction to the document. He mentioned leading a coalition to defeat the jihadist threat, then issued a request â?? for America not to over-react. "As powerful as we are and will remain, our resources and influence are not infinite," he wrote. "And in a complex world, many of the security problems we face do not lend themselves to quick and easy fixes. The United States will always defend our interests and uphold our commitments to allies and partners. But, we have to make hard choices among many competing priorities, and we must always resist the over-reach that comes when we make decisions based upon fear." When talking about Islam, both leaders have been careful to avoid slandering an entire religion. Harper has in the past referred to the threat of "Islamicism," but in his recent remarks he has spoken more specifically of violent jihadists. For its part, the White House talks about people with a warped interpretation of Islam. Obama was criticized by opponents this week for the way he made that distinction, between violent individuals and their faith. He blasted ISIL as a "death cult," then explained why it wasn't specific to Islam. He said history offers plenty of examples of people using religion to justify ugly deeds. He mentioned post-independence India, and examples from Christianity during the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition and the Jim Crow era. War on terror not winning issue for Obama "No god condones terror," Obama said. The leaders do face different political realities. In the U.S., terrorism is a losing issue for the president's party â?? voters prefer Republicans by 20 percentage points on that issue, according to Gallup pollsters. Obama promised to wind down the war on terror when he was first elected, and his presidency is in its final phase. In Canada, yet another polling firm this week described terrorism as a winning issue for the prime minister's party. And Harper faces re-election in nine months.
4. I completely agree with Cristy and Miss Jessica. As someone who is fairly new to the game, I don't have many reco's. And I do not find them particularly useful (other than to highlight that I am legit). I have two so far, and although they speak very highly of me, I cannot guarantee that everyone I see will have the exact the same sentiment. It puts a lot of pressure on the lady to live up to those standards, especially when what makes an encounter incredible for one person, does not do anything for someone else. I know why / where my reco's came from and I know they speak the truth - for their experience. However, if gentleman #1 had partaken in encounter #2, and vice versa, they may not have written those recommendations. This is very important to remember while reading recommendations, although their sentiments are basically the same, they are for completely different reasons, and you might not find those reasons to be worthy of such praise (though you'd be nuts not too!;-)) This exact thing was highlighted by Miss Jessica's post. I propose changing YEMV (and similar acronyms) to YEWV (Your Experience WILL Vary). Also, Someguy, just because a lady doesn't have a lot of reco's, doesn't mean she isn't absolutely amazing.
5. I would like to invite you to come over to spend some quality, fun-filled time with me Feb 14-21. I am a sexy girl next door type, who has an unquenchable wild side. I am a petite blonde, 5' and 110 lbs. I love what I do, and love to please. I am available during this time day or night, but only accept one client per day, so be sure to book early. Also, if we have not met yet, I will not accept last minute bookings. I am also looking for one special encounter for the evening of the 14th. I have the wine and chocolates, but I'm missing you ;-) I will be located at an amazing unique location near downtown Halifax. Please PM me to book, or if you require any additional information. In addition, as always, I am available to come visit you at a location of your choosing at anytime. 6. I have a cat that I love dearly and has traveled coast to coast with me! He's the best cat in the world! But what I truly want for a pet is an axolotl
7. My amazing neighbour down the street came and helped my shovel my driveway! Well I had a shovel, he had a snow blower. Hehe. I would have still been out there trying to clear away the 4 foot high pile of ice chunks that the cities plow so graciously left me at the end of the driveway.
8. :-) I think the issues arose with the comments she received, and less about the actual posting of the photos. Like she said, she figured she'd be embarrassed for awhile and then it would go away. But after three years of receiving messages similar to the examples above, I don't think anyone could deny it would affect them. I personally thought it flowed logically from paragraph to paragraph. I am interested to know where you see the male hatred portion? I don't see it. Or perhaps the tone in which I read it is different than the tone in which you read it? If you follow the link at the bottom of the article (not the one I posted, but the one after the Artwork credit), it shows the new pictures she had done in an attempt to switch her online naked presence to one where she is a sexual subject, not a sexual object. I think it works. But I'm not sure if it would stop the messages... Hopefully she'll start getting at least an equal amount of positive ones.
9. This is so sad. I'm teary eyed reading about it. I have not yet had to deal with the loss of a pet as an adult. Growing up, my parents always shielded us from the heartache. I dread the day I have to face this reality. I've had my cat for 11 years now, and when his time comes I will be crushed and not handle it well. I love the idea of a vet coming to the home and I'm in awe of how you described the professionalism and compassion that your vet had.
10. I'm fairly new to this, and I am loving every moment! I have always had a large sexual appetite and it just made sense for me to get involved. It is way better than I ever imagined! And it's you gents that make it so wonderful. Someguy - Although I completely agree that we (I) get immense satisfaction out of making others (you) happy, there is also the added bonus of getting satisfied in other ways ;-). I couldn't imagine a better 'job' where every time you see someone you walk away with a sense of euphoria. It's magical.
11. You are amazing! An inspiration to everyone! I don't see how anyone could be bothered by this, and I doubt anyone will! I only skimmed through all the kudos you have received, and I apologize if this has been mentioned already regarding your desire to not be identifiable because of it.... I have two thoughts regarding this, a) I doubt it will really be noticeable to begin with, just because it is not a particularly 'identifying' feature as it's a 'common' scar (not unique to just you). So having pics where it's showing shouldn't matter... or b) Any pics you post from now on, you can easily just blend the scar using any sort of editing type software. I did that for what you could see of my tattoos, as I had the same hesitation of posting a pic where someone could immediately say "Oh that's XXXXX" Now, back to being in awe of you....
12. Anyone know a way around this? It just started yesterday. I added cerb email as a contact. I've marked it 'Not spam'. But still. All my notifications are suddenly going to spam. Any thoughts?
13. I agree. I was once emailing someone back and forth, and his name kept switching from his 'real' email address and his 'alias' email account also in gmail. From what I understand Gmail allows you to have multiple email accounts under the same Google + profile. This can be dangerous in my opinion. I used to have a Google + account with my real name, but deleted it and replaced it so it's only linked to this persona. My other personal email is through a non-related provider, and as far as I am aware, this is working at keeping things separate. PLEASE advise me if I am wrong! I would much rather someone tell me that my emails are including signature information that is not supposed to be there. I sometimes wonder when I reply through my phone app if there is a signature like "Sent from XXXX's phone". I've seen this sort of signature attached to emails sent from tablets. Additional Comments: Ha! P*rovider was replaced with escort.
14. I would be honoured if you would give me the opportunity to spend some "quality" time with you. "quality" can be replaced with a word of your choosing :bddog: I am a petite blonde with blue eyes and a meeting with me will not leave you disappointed. I aim to please. I am a creature of change and that makes me very adaptable to any situation or encounter that you may fancy. I have an open mind and crave the soft sensual touch of a massage as well as something a bit more raw. :whip: My current living circumstances don't allow me to typically host, though arrangements can be made for the right circumstance. If you have somewhere in mind where we could meet for an unforgettable rendez-vous, I would love to hear from you. I hope to hear from you soon so we can shake off these winter blues! PM for more details.
15. Part of my 'bad tv' night with my favourite gals includes watching Come Dine With Me Canada.... The latest series we watched was bacon themed :-) Although I agree that bacon is way up there on the list of all (most) Canadians favourite things... I was intrigued to hear the statement that: "40% of Canadians would rather give up sex than bacon".... This makes me curious, which would you rather give up????
16. I couldn't agree more! Miss Jane previously answered some questions I had posed to her, and I did not mean any disrespect, I simply was curious. Although I have a different view now, I used to be a huge advocate of privacy over anything else. I used to think I was alone when I was 'fighting the fight' Miss Jane is bravely voicing. I have changed my mind somewhere along the line, perhaps when I no longer felt it was my own privacy being breached. It's hard to keep voicing your opinion when it seems no one listens and no one agrees. So I thank you Miss Jane for contributing. This thread would have been stale a long time ago without you! It's good to have a different side (though like many others, I don't necessarily agree with the analogies used). Don't be discouraged.
17. I wonder if people would react differently had the comments been about another male in the class? What about a 10 year old boy or girl? What about an elderly grandmother? I am seriously curious about this. I am not saying it would or it wouldn't, I just wonder. For myself, it doesn't, as to me it's a matter of respect not gender.
18. In a failed attempt to search for how Justin Trudeau actually voted on the matter, I came across this interesting piece. http://www.parl.gc.ca/Content/SEN/Committee/412/lcjc/Briefs/C-36/SM_C-36_brief_John_Lowman_E.pdf Perhaps if we could remain anonymous, this John Lowman could tell the adult side of the story.
19. I am looking for one lucky person to keep me warm tomorrow! Will it be you?! I am early 30's, petite, blonde hair with blue eyes. I generally keep a small clientele and I would like to invite one lucky gentlemen to enjoy some time with me tomorrow (Jan 20th). Hope to meet you soon! PM for details. Carrie
20. It is fast approaching! I am hosting from Sunday through Tuesday Sunday from 6pm - 11pm, Monday from 8am - 10am, 2pm - 11pm Tuesday 9am - 11am, 2pm -11pm I am early 30's, blonde hair and blue eyes. Petite but not fragile ;-) I love what I do, and want to share an amazing time with you! PM or email [email protected] for details and to book. Hope to see you soon!
21. Don't drink pop or juice! Drink two a day, and that is all your body needs for sugar (aka carbohydrates, aka energy) per day. The remaining energy that you would derive from any food you consume will be stored as fat, waiting until it is needed. Your body will always choose the easy sources of sugar, instead of breaking down fat to source the energy requirements that it needs. But beware. If you find yourself getting easily irritated, this can usually be due a low blood sugar levels. Eat a piece of fruit, which also has high sugar contents, but also other beneficial things such as fibre and vitamins, and your mood should improve :-)
22. I play the occasional sport, but I think it's my job that keeps me fit. Not this job, but my regular one. I have never had a job where I was required to sit in one place, so always moving around helps. Also, because I don't have a desk keeping food at work is impossible. So eating only tends to occur when I can feel my stomach begging for something.. This and I do not have children. I think children play a big role in overeating and taking care of oneself less. If I had to provide 3 square meals for my children a day, plus snacks and treats, ... I would not stay fit. I commend anyone who does.
23. I personally do not take any supplements, unless I am ill and not feeling up to eating, in which case a multivitamin with additional vitamin C and some zinc is in order. I have mixed feelings about supplements and such. A lot of it is stuff you would consume in your day to day anyways. For example, L-Arginine and Histidine are simply amino acids that are components of protein. (The L in front of arginine does not mean it is different than regular arginine. It is the same. L refers to the configuration of the molecule and it is also the same configuration that is found in all of nature). There is also the issue that if your body does not require what you are ingesting at that given moment (up until the time you expel it from your body as waste), it will not get used. Your body does not store these things for use later on. So there is that to consider. I am also highly skeptical of many claims that are made regarding supplements and such. Unless you can run me through the physiology of how and why it works, which is done with conventional medicines, then it's really just one person who happened to have a good result saying that it works. This is no more than mistaking correlation for causation. My favourite example of this is: "In July there is an increase in the sales of ice cream and there is also an increase in violent crimes. Therefore ice cream is the cause of violent crimes." Although I am sure some do have their benefit, please be cautious and do your research.. You do not want to end up like this man who tried the colloidal silver detox. This is real, I can run you through the chemistry of it if you want, he will be purple/blue the rest of his life. Just be smart, and think about what you are consuming and how it works.
