The couple of times I did not receive a welcoming hug all did not go as hoped. To me a hug and or kiss is a sign that your time with the lady will likely be a positive experience , it breaks the ice and in my mind leads me to think she is happy to see me which removes any nerves, relaxes me which leads to a more enjoyable visit.

Finally got around to seeing Sophia for the second time, I have no idea what took me so long, guess sometimes life flies by too fast. She met me at the door with a huge hug, we chatted for a while which was like talking to an old friend even tho it has been a year, I know, what was I thinking. She noted that I lost weight and I couldn't believe she noticed, how could she after all it's been a year and it's only 20 lbs..... To me this is what really makes Sophia special, besides the skills that go unsaid, she takes an interest in the person she spends time with..... I had the opportunity to meet Anika last evening. Had a visit with Sophia and to my surprise Anika was there, Sophia introduced us and I had a nice chat with both of them. Simple things make me smile.... Coming to home to a dog excited to see you, miss both of my boys ( rescued greyhounds, both have since crossed over the rainbow bridge ) , now a cat that meows to go outside with me....... Watching birds and squirrels sharing food from the same feeder makes me laugh, one waits for the other to finish, nature at it's finest.... How can you not smile...
