Mischievous, a little devilish for sure I like to laugh I try to be a little Funny, makes life that much better. Athletic, played sports all my life Strong(feelings and body) Thankful of what I have in life A giver of my time in volunteering and more if I can afford it if I can help someone especially around the special times of the year. Strong believer in treating someone the way you would like them to treat you in my personal life, here on Lyla and in my work. Kind Considerate Thoughtful Feisty Funny Patient Stand by my convictions But don't ever cross me! When someone does something or stabs me in the back, look out! I will not back down or take guff from anyone! I give people once chance to prove themselves to me and that's it. I live by a certain set of boundaries and if people try to cross those, they are no longer included in my life. Guest *Ste***cque** Report post Posted July 24, 2015 I can't speak for others but earlier in my life I found it very hard to describe myself. I spent years starting and building a business I didn't enjoy running(family pressure). I would operate like I was on auto pilot for years. I tried to be who others wanted me to be and ignored my own qualities for so long that I had a hard time figuring out who "me" actually was until much later in life. It wasn't easy trying to figure out who I was. I still struggle being honest with myself about my core traits. Strangely, one of the things that got me started on my self discovery was when someone read my horoscope personality traits to me. The way she described me felt like who I was but I was burying those traits to be someone else. If you are inclined towards that field I would recommend The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes by Lau or any other serious horoscope book. Hey, whatever helps get you started. :) It's never too late to know who you really are. It may not be easy for some but it is worth it! My decision to know myself started when I read a quote from Socrates who said "The unexamined life is not worth living". True); enjoy a sporty look as much as a sophisticated one; very intelligent (of course); warm and empathetic; strong personality who will not hesitate to give her point of view; have the odd and stupid conviction that if a 6'5 guy messes with me I will beat him up easily in one second (I am only 5'1 and I really believe this!!!) I'm an introvert, yet thrive when around people. I'm stubborn most of the time. I'm confident, yet also insecure. I'm loving, caring, happy. I have a quick temper. I'm very empathetic to others. I'm moody. I'm patient..but also very impatient too. I'm lovely and wonderful :) I'm by no means a perfect person, and I like to embrace my negative qualities too, since I believe that's a better way to get an understanding of who I am, and what I can improve upon within myself.
