Greetings Cerbinites

A friend of mine and I were talking, he is convinced that many SPs are work as flight attendants - he makes a good argument.

Does anyone want to share if they are a Flight Attendant or not? I'm really curious.

Be well.

What is this "good argument". Why make that statement without backing it up?

For starters he says that a regular SP he has known for years worked for AC for 20 years - she even had a retirement party. She told him that there are quite a few FAs that do this. He reportedly said "really?" and she pointed out that many of them are single, travel for work (or for next to nothing when they don't work) and enjoy anonymity. He is a straight shooter, I have no reason to doubt him.

You could probably say they may work the night shift at McDonalds re: no calls before 10:00 AM. And believe me I'm a straight shooter! hehe!

Not sure but I think either you or your friend may have been watching a few too many adult oriented movies!

To me its irrelevant but I would think the two occupations would be a bad match.

FA's are out of contact for long stretches at a time (no cell or internet at 30K feet). Are usually pretty wiped out at the end of the day. Tend to share accomodations with co-workers (not good except for duos).

But again its irrelevant to me and none of my business what an SP does outside of the time I spend with her.

I would have to agree, for this same reason. Some sps make travel part of their availability, but they aren't working en route to get there.

I have never once heard any sp I have chatted with mention being or knowing sp flight attendant.

To join the mile high club (again) with a flight attendant, now there's a story.. :-)

I'm a F/A without a plane...I was one for a brief moment before Air Canada went on strike about 8 years ago...I had just graduated from Flight Attendant academy ...anyway I think it would be hightly unlikely to be an escort at the same time...traveling from city to city several times a day doesn't leave you much time or energy...perhaps on off time one could be an escort but I just cant see it while your at work...coffee, tea or me could certainly get you fired..

I don't think some of these flight attendants are true pros. Most of them are too busy screwing the pilots!

This :sm185:

I lost count of the number of orgies I had when we were on layover.....it was an incredible time, fun to be had by all !!

On a SERIOUS note, as Emma so eloquently stated, varying work hours, revolving schedules, proximity to other crew members while out of town......would all make for a difficult time maintaining any sort of 'play time' schedule while away from your home base.......

Certainly the coffee, tea or me play time, while on company business, would lead to an early end to a budding career.....

But.....maybe I just always drew the short end of the stick on crew rotations and missed out on all the fun !!

Some years ago I had booked a flight with TWA(Trans World Airline) me and my girlfriend sat beside each other, in was early in the morning and just before they served breakfast the stewardess came up to me and asked me if I wanted some TWA Milk I said No!thanks, TWA OJ No! thanks, TWA Coffee No! thanks and finally TWA T now my girlfriend got mad and told her off.

I always thought that FA did do this on the side and this was my proof. TWAT.

I know of some flight attendants who are (or were) also independent SP. Not a lot, just a few. It is a mistake to believe that flight attendants are always gone somewhere around the world. They have limited working hours permitted by aviation's laws. Depending on which company they work for and of their seniority, they can have short back and forth flights, they can pick flights that provide them 4 days free in Paris, Rome, Tokyo, etc.

Some of these women work as SP in their hometown, others visit gentlemen overboard that they first meet while working from their own country.

It is not common but it is not nonexistant neither. They are probably more students that are also SP than flight attendants: stick to the school girl fantasy instead:)

A friend of mine who worked for a shuttle bus company ferrying airline crew back and forth from the airport to hotels told me the only FA's who ever put the moves on him were male ones!

He said in his experience, most of the time the crew would appear dog tired, so where would there be time or energy for play when you land, have to go to your hotel to retire and then be back up again the next day.

Like Lou, I agree. I think more of it is a myth than reality.

I may be deviating a little on the thread.

For those who know Melly (dancer at Barb's), today is her last day before she begins her new career as a flight attendant. She is really looking forward to this, so I would expect that she wouldn't be doing anything to compromise her new job.

Anyone wanting to see her before she leaves should do so before 9:00pm tonight.

I thought I would update this thread with a recent experience of mine.....names are changed to protect the innocent....namely....me

Recently, while out of town and on layover, some of the crew went out to a local pub for a celebration....

News had gotten around about the prostitution laws being overturned in Ontario, I made my views clear that I supported the legalization of prostitution and didn't understand what the fuss was all about.......it was obvious I was SP friendly, but I did not indicate I participated in the hobby.....

Later that evening, while we were still out, one of the FA's privately discussed with me that prior to being an FA, she was an escort and to this day still sees some regular clients back in Texas ( but she never escorts while on the road ). She further confirmed that 1 or 2 other ladies she has flown with were also part time escorts.....a very interesting discussion with this young lady....

Now with several thousand FA's in the airline, that is a very small percentage.......I know it is unscientific, but thought I would update this thread.

BTW, the young FA from Texas, has a NRP and what happened between her and I will remain private.............:pimp: NAH......KIDDING OF COURSE....... I wanted to tell her about Fat Bastards BBM, but I didn't want to out myself.......... ;-)
