Since coming back to the hobby a few months ago I guess you can say I've really dived right into the cerb community more than I ever have in the past. Not solely for the hobby related posts and reco's but for the many different interesting topics discussed throughout this site, many of which have nothing to do with escorting, or the sex industry. I've been finding it much more interesting to come here then to go on facebook and seeing what's going on with the people in my "real life". For the first time I've actually been spending more time and checking for updates more often on cerb than I do facebook. I just find it more interesting here. Just curious which the rest of you spend more time on, cerb or facebook and the like (twitter, myspace, etc)?

I have a FB account and I must say I seldom visit it. I will say that I visit CERB almost everyday but don't have time to post as much as I would like to.

Really a no brainer for me, I'm on CERB, but don't even have a Facebook, Twitter or MySpace account

RG

Agreed! I haven't a facebook account either as I like to keep my life to myself. As far as Twitter goes I thought that was some sort of medical condition and MySpace is the immediate area around my body in which I can reach with my arms extended. Frankly if life didn't necessitate it I wouldn't even have a cell phone.

God I sound like a senior citizen...

Cerb all the way.

I haven't got a FB account, which carries a rather bad reputation, privacy-wise. I will consider google+, when the lesser ones are allowed in, since there is more control on who sees what.

Twitter? My life is hardly interesting enough for a blow-by-blow account, everyone would get bored fast!

Cerb: there are many amusing posts, some great general topic threads, and the ladies for sure who are making it rather interesting, so I'll tend to visit more than once per day...

I don't use Facebook, Myspace or Twitter. I've been trying to limit my weekly time on CERB to 2 hours, but that is a challenge because the posts are so interesting and the people I've met here are so incredible. I feel lucky to be here!

I use both, but quite differently. CERB is something where I log in, see what's being talked about, join in, and then log out. FB is something I tend to keep running all the time and dip into far more often, but for less long. And twitter is a good way of keeping up with things/people/organizations I'm interested in (so's FB, but I'd prefer that FB not know too much about my interests, so I withhold that information from them).

Does MySpace still exist? :)

I have a Facebook account and use it to stay in touch with family and friends. I don't use it for this work, though, and I can't see any significant advantage in making a Facebook page for Samantha, anyway. Samantha does have a Twitter account, but I'm not a great Twitter-er. Social media are a sink-hole for time, I find!

I know that MySpace still exists but I've never used it. Besides, Rupert Murdoch owns it and that's enough reason for me not to do anything with it.

I put much more time into Cerb than anything else and I'm glad to be here.

I am much the same. Family and work friends on FB but everything else happens here. I only had MySpace to get in touch with an old friend but she settled on FB and that was done, I can't see much point of Twitter.... no one wants to know I am napping or on CERB!

I can not lie I spend way too much time on Facebook. It is a great way for me to keep in touch with my family as they are scattered all across Canada. I'm the only one on the East Coast. Unfortunately they have also gotten me started playing Farmville, Frontierville, Cityville and many different Poker games it has to offer. I have since quit playing Farmville but can still spend many hours on there during the day. It's very sad. Please forgive me.

I spend more time on CERB as I find it to have more intelligent discussions and debates as well as being much more interactive. I use FB too (mostly for keeping in contact with friends). I'm not on Twitter myself but follow a few people who have twitter feeds on other sites.

CERB for sure, and for many of the reasons already mentioned. It's odd to feel one has all of these friends I do not know and will likely never meet. Surreal, almost. Sometimes even sad. I find that there are so many people on here that I wish I really knew and could spend time with. I can't be alone in that reflection, can I?

I maintain accounts on both Facebook and CERB. For me they don't compare as each has very different functions.

I usually visit Cerb every day to keep abreast of whats happening in this community and to make some friends, and there are some great topics to discuss. Also on this site you are anonymous, and can create a reputation of your choosing, although I have met some of the ladies and gentlemen personally.

Facebook is on the other hand is a great way to stay in touch and keep up to what's happening with my kids. I have created a circle of friends though travel, and even found an old friend from high school. Also some have mentioned privacy issues on FB, and I would argue that I don't have to use a pseudonym there as I do on CERB. You chose and are open with the circle of friends of your choosing.

Read FB to keep current on family, friends and old schoolmates. Also use it to advise them of my current events. This is a quick read now and again.

CERB is my gateway drug (lol) into a different world. I spend much more time here following the threads and such.
