CERB in general

when i first joined Cerb, my main reason was get my name out there, looking for different ways to advertise, and find new clients. Now i look at cerb as more of a social group.

 

I talk to people on here, both male and female, not looking for compensation, but to help others, voice my opinion, teach, and learn from others

The SP's on here may have more experience than my, and they've helped a lot both through treads, and pm's, as well as the gentlemen have been very supportive, and give me great insight through both as well

 

What is your main purpose on CERB in is to gain advice? be apart of a well respected community with people who wil actually listen to what you say? Is it for the sole purpose of gaining clients/ Service providers? Or is it just a hobby? Do you like reading/responding to the posts?

 

Ive noticed alot of people on CERB do not like to bullshit, they say what they mean, and stick by it, which is great, and which is why i love this site so much.

 

Which leads me to my other question, of part of CERB you like the most? Are you into the jokes? The seriousness? Do you like to make your opinion known? or just read others thoughts?

 

I love to debate, make my thoughts known, i love to voice my opinions, even if others dont agree, i love to hear other peoples thoughts and ideas about this business and everything else, im not to into the start a sentence game, alothough i like the jokes.

 

So in general, everyone is so complex, and it takes alot of both like-minded, and controversial people to make a site great.

 

Which is exactly what not only this site, but life is made up of.

Yes this is part of the reason, I am here to read about the lovely ladies, make friends, exchange views.....

I believe that in the overwhelming majority of cases cerb is a very respectful openminded tolerant community. I don't expect though people to listen to me, it used to be my strategy to respond honestly in public if I was asked a question, until recently.....

 

I am into a variety of subjects (national/international politics, economics, sports, engineering, movies, Social topics...as well as beautiful ladies of course (inside beauty more important). Over years I have formed opinions (MINE) and over the past 3 years I have expressed them on cerb whenever I was asked. My views are likely on the conservative side and has been in conflict with a few of members. Though I respect everyone else's views and opinions (and there is no right or wrong in opinions) however, I have been criticized (sometimes hurtfully, especially when I was accused indirectly of not caring about safety of our ladies) for my opinions on dating escorts, not seeing married SPs, prostitution laws....... I was almost told that I have to accept other peoples' views and if not surrounder, then this means I have a thick scalp and not open to learn and change my views!!!!. I felt that (my impression) My expressed views were also likely twisted and used against me. Since my views are mine and I am not going to change them simply because I am told to do so Therefore from now on I have decided to keep my opinions to myself and will end expressing them on hot topics effective immediately. I will still take part of course in recommendations and strip bars section when I will meet lovely ladies and very happy to share them with cerbite friends.

 

I would like to clarify very clearly that I believe cerb is a great community and the very opinionated people are in tiny minority who post a lot. Well compensated however by the other 99% of cases when I benefited and am happy being here and I mostly enjoy my time.

 

Is it for the sole purpose of gaining clients/ Service providers?

No.

 

Or is it just a hobby?

A hobby, to meet friends, to learn about beautiful ladies, to exchange views (this used to be the case, until recently)

When I first came to cerb, it was a review/message board that focused a bit more on Ottawa than the other boards although terb was popular as well. At first, things were a bit slow and there were a lot of shills or anti-shills (posters who were just knocking other ladies or agencies).

 

Its now turned into a great resource, but I have to admit I tend to cross reference the reviews/recommendations with the other boards for a reality check. The general discussion board is (for the most part ... smile) very enjoyable and the board administrators have done a fantastic job of making this a very user-friendly place. And the posters here have been saint-like in sharing very valuable information.

I'm "all about fluff", as one member described me very aptly not so long ago, so I tend to focus on the lighter side of discussions here. Not always, of course. I sometimes allow myself to get drawn into heavier conversations, but my preferences, besides naturally the recommendations of sp's and MA's, are the strip club discussions, the picture threads, and the social groups. I especially love RHAG, the Redhead Appreciation Group, and always make it one of my first stops when I visit cerb.

But it's the camaraderie, the meetings with other members whether by exchanges on threads, pm's, or personal encounters, that I really love. I've made lots of new friends through cerb, and it's been enriching.

And did I mention the awesome women on here????;)

I came to the board at the beginning because I realized that I needed some guidance entering into the world of escorts and massages. I learned a lot and tended to focus on Ottawa posts. Then I started reading the board through the 'latest posts' filter and found out there was a ton of wonderful discussion happening. And then I was really hooked.

 

I read, post, and have come to see this board as a real resource to me. A family, even. I have never met anyone from the board in person other than SPs and MAs, but have come to consider some people here as friends.

 

I know I may be limiting myself, but I won't see anyone that hasn't been well-reviewed by at least one of the 'veterans' here - I have come to know who's preferences and perspectives align well with mine.

 

Thanks to all who have made and will continue to make this such a great resource for us.

I joined CERB originally (along with some other boards) because when I decided to see SP's, all I knew was what television portrayed. Not only did CERB, btw the only board I now participate on, provide etiquette guidance, I got to meet great ladies. Now that I have been active on this board, and been active in this lifestyle, if there is a question asked that I can answer, I will provide my opinion. And everyone learns, so I'll have questions from time to time as well

Well, coming from the other side of the fence... it was the recos that drew me in in the first place. But, if you'll forgive me sounding horribly trite, that's not why I stayed.

And, again from the other side of the fence, it's been fantastic to realize that there's a whole bunch of very normal and sane and likeable dudes out there for whom seeing a SP is a perfectly normal thing to do. Perhaps the most valuable things that CERB has taught me are - if you'll all excuse my being somewhat blunt for a moment - that it's okay to see SPs, and that SPs are, by and large, lovely people. Far more so than the rest of the general population, anyway. (As an aside, please note that I'm lumping MAs in with SPs here. I know some folks see a distinction between the two, and I wouldn't want anyone to believe that I think MAs are any less delightful than SPs :) )

No, but it's always appreciated when it turns up, whether solicited or not. Sometimes it's good to get advice on a subject where you never even knew you needed it, or what questions to ask :)

Absolutely. I also love the fact that we can have fairly civil disagreements and debates here. Sure, it gets a little bad-tempered at times, but that's understandable. Most of the time, CERB is remarkable for its civility.

And I love to hear from you! I'm not into all the serious threads, and neither am I into all the silly threads, or all the sexy threads, but I like reading them all (even the ones I don't contribute to) and I like being on a site where they can all coexist. I think that if you took any of these elements out, CERB as a whole would be much the poorer for it.

I originally checked out Cerb because of the recco's and SP's ads. I had decided to try seeing a SP but had no idea how to go about it or whom I wanted to see. Cerb was and still is a wealth of information.

 

For the most part i'm on here as a fun diversion, so I generally don't contribute to the more serious threads. I'm more interested in some lighthearted, goofy conversations and photo sharing as well as all the info regarding SP's. It helps me get a feel for whether or not I will be interested in seeing a lady :)
