What sort of irks me.......yes IRKS....bugs...annoy.....bother....find troublesum......are the amount of people who go to chat...and are not even around in the forums..........Chat-Lurkers I will call them As I am in the chat room...I like to see who I am there with...so I run the Caht-Lurker's names through CERB as we chat......many of the names are low posters or even zero posting lurkers..... It just seems strange that they present themselves in chat.....sometimes get info and hog conversations...but have no input to the forums with thier experiances............ Like I said it kind of irks me........... Some people are more responsive in live chat than in online forums, the chat gives people who adapt better to real time a chance to get involved. Now the the lurkers who drop in to get easy info and then split, that is another story, but we have to be nice! Nothing wrong poking a little fun at the same time, they are for our mutual amusement! I know for myself, being a relative newbie here, my first interactions were in the chat room. I believe I am a very active chat user. My chat room experiences and developing of rapport with a couple of the ladies ultimately lead to my first visit with a provider from this site. I had read recommendations and looked at profiles but not every persons taste is the same. Having talked to people in chat and because I developed this rapport, when I went to see my first provider, I was more at ease as I felt we had already developed a bit of a connection. Also, seeing some of them on cam helped beyond the recommendations and pictures in my choice to visit them. (example: Prettypaige; I had read her reviews an she sounded awesome. Checked her profile but no pictures other than her avatar. I am a very visual creature. From her avatar pic I wasn't sure she was for me. I had the pleasure of talking to her and seeing her on cam last night and all I can say is WOW!! She is definately for me. I also found out that she does a boot camp thing and is a personal trainer. So, from just one night in chat, she will probably get "business" from me in 2 areas). I haven't posted any recommendations yet. The few providers I have had the pleasure visiting already have plenty and I don't think I have anymore to share that hasn't already been said. I'm sure someday I will get to do it. It also took me a little time before my first post as I was feeling out the site. I am getting the hang of it and I am jumping in here and there. After I had my first couple of posts, the ball just started rolling. Eventually, someday I too may have a high post count but as the saying goes " Rome wasn't built in a day". Anyway, I'm sure some people are lurkers. Some might just be waiting to get the ball rolling and they felt that the chat room was the best place to start like myself. They are marketing themselves that way. The ladies are allowed to "Show" whatever they want to in chat (as long as it's legal of course). This business is about sex, sex appeal, fantasy, and much more... these ladies are marketing themselves and doing very well. We know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I assure you that 99% of the guys in the chat room are watching those ladies cam streams and many of them are thinking "I must visit this girl" (and often do - sometimes immediately). It's your choice how you use the chat room. The chat room is also a great social interaction tool for our community... a number of ladies have gone into the chat and just had nice conversations (Some with and some without a cam) and they are doing very well also with obtaining bookings and marketing themselves in the chat room as well. Now, with that said we do not allow the guys to encourage the ladies to get naked or do anything x-rated on cam. This would just be annoying! If someone says "Show me your breasts" (or anything to that nature) they are suppose to get a warning from the moderators (If one is in the room at that time - it's not possible to have a moderator in the room at all times obviously thankfully we have some great moderators here!) The lady or other members can also report the guys to me and also the chat room has a VOTE TO KICK option as well so the other chat members can boot someone for being a idiot. I have logged into the room many times to find a lady (or two) teasing the guys with some flashing, some naughty motions, etc.. and those same girls are making bookings from doing this. That to me is good marketing!! The other ladies who do not do this still enjoy chat and also make bookings (Not nearly as many direct bookings from the chat room - but it is still good marketing). Bottom line, it is not abuse when the ladies get naked. Abuse would be spamming the chat or harassing someone (or fighting, etc..). The reason we do not allow genital nudity in photos on the site is not because any of us would be offended, it is because google and other search engines would give this site a "ADULT X RATING" meaning it would be removed from the search engines until someone searched for it using a adult keyword like "Sex Escort Ottawa" this makes marketing the site MUCH harder as most people would not search for a site like this using the word sex they would simply put "Escort Ottawa". Cerb chat is a little different because most people who do enter are cerbites and I'm assuming most have met each other and so on. But when I enter the room and I see 3-4 guys I don't shy away, I say hi how is everyone..... then silence. If someone comes into chat and starts to get naked or flirty on cam we all know that the naked or flirty girl's cam will take over the main room discussion. Those same discussions still take place in chat (but they take place when the naughty girls are not in the room as guys are just being social and chatting away when nothing else entertaining it taking place in the room - and that is great) When a lady comes on cam (Not even a naked or flirty lady) All of a sudden people will perk up and the guys who sit and wait will all of a sudden start to chat - often private messages (but that is fine as long as they are showing respect). It's human nature! If we take away the cam element from the room the room would be less busy. We all know that, sure some of you would like to beleive otherwise or try to convince yourself otherwise but we really all know the truth. It is very easy to make a new room and invite your conversation into the new room, the guys who wish to go to the new room and still watch the lady on cam can either switch back and forth or open the cam video and still view it while chatting in room number 2 (or 3 or 4) etc... The chat is VERY flexible for this type of thing. Please remember... 1) It is a marketing tool for the site 2) It is a marketing tool for the ladies (All the ladies) 3) It is a social tool for our members 4) and so much more... as it is what you all make it. Sometimes TEXT can be VERY enticing and sexy but we all know a picture is worth 1000 words... A cam show is work 10'000! If the chat room did not have the cam stream and mic ability it would not be as busy (we all know that) so we have to take the good with the bad and work around things you may not personally enjoy. It is silly to get mad if some girl is showing her "privates" on cam. Just close her cam window and you don't have to look at her if you do not like to see that and open a new room and call it "No CAM room Text only" or whatever you want to call it. (Very simple) A SP getting mad cause another SP is getting naked is silly - it's a adult site, nudity, sex and sex appeal, fantasy etc... is what it's all about. A intelligent conversation is nice (until the naked lady comes in than all attention will be on her - just a fact of life any no one here seams to want to admit this so I will) If you do not want to get naked don't (No one will pressure you to do this - if they do they will be asked to leave the site). If you get upset when another lady comes into the room and gets naughty or flirty on cam chances are your mad cause she will take over the chat and get most of the attention. Sure some guys will say "No, that does not interest me" to you but chances are that guy had her cam stream open and is watching too! The guys in the room will talk to anyone in most cases .... some do sit quit and will only talk to the ladies (That is fine too everyone is here for different reasons I guess) but a naked woman, or a sexy flirty lady on cam makes it very difficult to pay attention to anything else. Those same guys who say "I don't care for the cam shows" are the first ones to have that cam window open to check out the ladies when they turn the cams on. The chat should accommodate everyone. So use it the way you want to use it and others with similar interests as you have will also use it that way. It is an extension to this site. You don't all chat in the same forum we have LOTS of forums with many different conversations going on at any time. You all participate in each forum you have interest in. Use chat the same way... some aspects will not appeal to everyone buy you all have complete control over these things. Before the chat server was upgraded we had a room for NON-CAM-CHAT and a room for CAM-CHAT and oddly enough no one really ever used the NON-CAM-CHAT room.
