What is for supper tonight?

Recommended Posts

My first and probably last attempt at Spaghetti Carbonara. I always know it's bad when my husband cheerfully pronounces "All good ingredients!" Yep. And totally ruined by combining them in this way.

On the good side, the dogs loved it. But then, they love vomit too ... which is pretty much what this meal looked, smelled and tasted like. Ugh!

I need to give you a cooking class...I've made spaghetti carbonara and everyone that has had it says (not bragging) better than any they have had in a restaurant

But for dinner tonight I had buffalo wings washed down with Becks no alcohol beer

And enough wings left over for lunch tomorrow

well apparently the Aquarius across the street from my hotel (Saint John) closed down 2 weeks ago :( I was gonna eat there cause their food was totally awesome.

Luckily however; I brought leftover steak and a BJ steak with me in my luggage lol. So I will be having steak and mashed potatoes.

lol I've been being smart and trying to travel with some food so I eat out less often :)

Left over night: 1 part left over lasagna and 1 part left over pizza. Desert was fresh pineapple chunks on vanilla ice cream.

Got to get me some Asian dumplings! Sounds yummy!

BBQ rib steaks, baked potato and baked sweet potato with steamed green beans. Pinapple slices and vanilla ice cream for desert.

I am lucky enough to have a natural gas BBQ and a semi sheltered area to cook. We BBQ all winter long. Long Live the Grill!

I just did up some pan seared scallops, brown rice with shallots, baby spinach and steamed broccoli with a glass or two of Sauvinon Blanc and chocolate mousse cake for desert. Too bad I had to eat it alone but such is life. I find eating dinner much better when you have someone to share it with which is even more important than the food itself. I don't like cooking just for me, but I do it just for the fun of it.
