I thoroughly enjoyed American Gangster over the weekend.

Film was made in 2007 and is set in the 1970s. A detective works to bring down the drug empire of Frank Lucas, a heroin kingpin from Manhattan, who is smuggling the drug into the country from the Far East. It's based on a true story. The Director is Ridley Scott. Stars are Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.

I watched "Riddick" tonight, fun flick for when you want mindless action. It was more like Pitch Black than the sequel.

No matter how many times I watch this movie I never get sick of it, if anything I grow fonder of it. The Crow starring Brandon Lee. Such a good movie in so many ways, including an awesome soundtrack.

I was on a Jason Stratham marathon watched 6 of his movies.

Basically he's the same character in all of them, lol.

The one I found which was a bit of a departure and the most profound was Redemption (Hummingbird in the UK).

I just watched Chronicle, interesting POV cam about teens who gain telekinetic powers. Sort of a slant on the power corrupts theme.

Wolf of Wall Street. Di Caprio always plays a good charismatic con man.

I also watched Wolf of Wall St. Best movie I've seen in awhile.

Okay so this may be a little late but I just watched Casablanca for the first time and it was amazing! Don't be afraid of it just because it is old and black and white.

Just watched Drive Angry with Nicolas Cage and Amber Heard.

A vengeful father escapes from hell and chases after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.

It's an entertaining action movie. I enjoyed it.

Not bad

Not bad, but good enough to recommend? (I'm on the fence about renting it)

I re-watched Memento again last night, wow, great every time!

Watched Man of Tai Chi yesterday. It was directed and starring Keanu Reeves in this martial move. The fight scenes were pretty amazing, It's a story about how A young martial artist's unparalleled Tai Chi skills land him in a highly lucrative underworld fight club.

I enjoyed it. But you have to enjoy martial art movies first. It's about the action scenes, not the plot or acting :)
