I've been checking out the ladies albums as they are added in the Photos link and am amazed by the lack of comments by the guys on new albums as well as on older albums (even the ladies add comments to each others pics). I see the same guys making comments and wonder why more of us do not post comments. The only thing that kinda strikes me as sad is that there even needs to be a thread on proper etiquette and courtesy when texting. With date-check and p411, they screen you and provide you with a profile number. Some people are not comfortable giving a provider there work details for example. The verification sites eliminate this step as they screen you once, end of story. Keep in mind every time you wish to visit a new SP who screens, you have to keep giving out the requested information. With a verification site you do it once - end of story. Sometimes when checking references the other lady does not get back very quickly and the verification site is another alternative to simplify things.

If you are a resident of Ontario and that you have health questions, then you should use the tele-health service: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/telehealth/ It is a a telephone service that is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I have never used the service, however I do know people that have used it and were satisfied with the service. It is a very efficient way to gain access to health information.

As seen by the various responses, everyone has a different perspective on texting when it comes to booking. The one thing we all have in common, however, is that we all expect respectful texts and the common courtesy of a name and a thank you after we replied to your questions :) Treat a text as a telephone call. Don't be rude!

I would never set up an appointment via text message alone. If it's a polite text introducing yourself properly and you're inquiring about availability, that's great but know that it has to be followed up and confirmed by a telephone conversation, just like an email would. And for the love of God, even if we have met before please don't start sending me sexy texts hoping for some verbal foreplay.
