14 points...so I was laying in savasna (corpse pose) at the end of my yoga class this evening and was thinking about orgasms. The teacher ended the class with a quote from Ghandi. Something along the lines of "we try to make other people happy in the ways that we want them to be happy. We are too attached to our own ways that sometimes, it's hard to be respectful of peoples processes" (I've paraphrased the quote). I was laying and thinking about how elusive an orgasm can be at times. Sometimes I think people are too attached to getting people off the way they want to get them off, rather than helping them along their own process, or supporting them throughout their own process. Do we stop and think "how can I support this person?" "what does she/he need to get off?" "does that conflict with what I want to get them off?" I think we get really attached to particular images and fantasies. Legs here, body parts there, contortions right, left (no your other left), and center... but is that really ideal? Is that what they want, or what we want? I'm thinking a lot more people would have powerful orgasms if they were supported along their process. I have to admit that I've probably gotten wrapped up in this too, but I want to be more mindful from this point forward. Now Ghandi was abstinent (much later in his life)....but hopefully he won't mind the inspiration ;) Food for thought. Nat xox

6 pointshttp://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=168507 I know plagiarism is frowned upon here and it's appreciated by the providers who work hard on their unique branding :) I was browsing another forum and noticed a brand new provider using a very familiar name. I wasn't sure what to do so I messaged her and advised her that her name wasn't original and that it had been used by a very well known provider for years. She said she would change it but she hasn't at this point. As she's new she has no pics and no website. Therefore if someone does a web search they could very easily think she's someone that she certainly is not. I feel it's a form of plagiarism, and it borders on bait & switch, and gentlemen should be aware that this isn't who they may think it is. Anyways I thought long and hard before posting this, I don't want to cause her trouble but I feel strongly that using another providers name shouldn't be supported or tolerated. Especially when the name belongs to a legend like Brynn Winters.

5 pointsThis was a cross Canada phone in radio show regarding what the government should do about the sex trade industry. I listened to half of it and most people were in favour of decriminalizing or legalizing prostitution. You can listen to it here. This program gave me hope. I'm listening to it again now. The host seems pro sex worker. http://640toronto.com/syn/123/308/canada-talks-national And there's a poll too! So far decriminalizing option is winning!

4 pointsFor a very long time our culture insisted that one relationship could and would be the sole source of all our relationship and human-to-human needs: passionate love wild eroticism responsible love dutiful pair-bonding partners in big projects (kids/careers/whatever) mutual support in crises of whatever kind ... but it turns out that in fact, one person is seldom all of those things, or at least not all of those things at the same time. And that's true for both men and women, even though our society has been deeply reluctant to acknowledge that wives and mothers crave sex and excitement too. People find different ways to deal with this: the martyrdom of dutiful resignation, enormously risky secret affairs, whatever. But it's no surprise that even in happy marriages, people crave things on the outside, and inevitably lots of people take steps to acquire it. What's surprising is that we've been so narrow-mindedly terrified to admit it and change our views on relationships, human needs, and how to satisfy the latter honestly and responsibly.

4 pointsSo I'm in a very loving relationship but there is no sex. We've tried to work on this over the years but have come to the conclusion that it is what it is. The only issue is that I still need to have sex and she doesn't. The SPs provide me with the sex that I need and there are no strings attached. My heart still belongs to her. I'm not sure if she knows about my hobby or not but she goes out of her way to not find out (never ask questions and stays away from these issues) I have to live with the guilt but otherwise happy. I know it sound like I'm justifying but I'm fine with it.

3 pointsPlagiarism (Coping text from another provider to post as your own) is NOT acceptable on cerb. Copying someone's text is the SAME as stealing someones photos. Stealing someone's text (even off another website to post it here) will get you in HOT WATER with the mods and members here on cerb. It could get you suspended or banned from cerb as well. So don't do it please. It's not nice... and I hate having my pm flooded with people telling me someone is copying someones text.

2 pointsHi all. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this BP poster? I'm new and trying to pick my first girl and almost got hooked into a bait and switch situation previously so i'm a little cautious now. The pictures in this ad look great so if anyone can tell me if they had a good or bad experience with this girl it will be greatly appreciated. http://halifax.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/sweet-sexy-blonde-ready-to-make-your-dreams-come-true-20/1695921 As a side note, I can't believe how friendly everyone is on here. I'm happy to be part of the community and look forward to my first time :)

2 pointsI am a happily married hobbiest ... i love my wife and would do anything for her. We have so very many things that bring us together and make us both happy but you know I a Not sure I still believe like I use to that one person can meet all of our needs....perhaps seeing others provide a venue for me to meet needs for intimacy or connection in a way that is not possible with my wife. All that said if I was forced to choose....my hobbiest lifestyle or my wife the choice would be easy...i would choose her in a heartbeat.... i chose her 30 plus years ago and have not regretted that decision for even one second. I am not sure I deserve her but I do Love her. Just my opinion

1 pointBY CELINE BISETTE | MARCH 28, 2014 http://rabble.ca/blogs/bloggers/views-expressed/2014/03/ah-shouldnt-canadas-new-sex-work-legislation-include-workers- The issue of sex work has been under the spotlight ever since the Supreme Court released it's decision on the Bedford case last December. In that landmark ruling, the judges struck down three of Canada's sex work laws. Major media outlets have been running news stories and editorials on sex work, activists and academics have been debating the issues and politicians have been hurriedly trying to sway public opinion. The flurry of attention and the rush to establish a nation-wide agreement is heavily motivated by one looming deadline: the expiration of Canada's current sex work laws. When the Supreme Court struck down the laws as unconstitutional, they ruled that the laws will remain in place for one more year in order to give the government time to develop and bring forward new legislation. The government could, in theory, allow the current laws expire, in which case sex work could be treated like all other types of work. Alternatively, they can introduce new legislation. Justice Minister Peter MacKay has already stated has already stated stated that the government will introduce new legislation, and that it will do so "well before" the December deadline. The government is keen on instituting the Nordic model of dealing with sex work -- in which the purchase of sex would be criminalized -- but it is not yet known what specific laws they plan to introduce. According to the Department of Justice website, an in-person consultation with "a number of stakeholder representatives" was held on March 3 "to seek their views and input" on the future of sex work legislation in Canada. There is no mention of who these individuals or groups were. What is apparent is that the perspectives of several major stakeholders were completely overlooked. Maggie's, WISH and PEERS are three of the largest sex worker support organizations in Canada, and none of them have been contacted by the government for their input. The people who staff these organizations have many years of experience providing support to those who work in the sex trade, and no doubt have a great deal of insight to offer on the problems that exist in the industry. Kate Gibson, the Executive Director of WISH, reports that "No one from the government has contacted WISH to receive feedback directly from sex workers. One might hope that this would happen given that they are the ones who are the authorities in their lives and who are the most qualified to respond." Madame Sage, a representative from Maggie's in Toronto, shared a similar revelation, lamenting that "As far as I know the government has not attempted to consult with any sex workers or sex worker organizations regarding the laws." The government hasn't reached out to PEERS in Victoria either. It is unclear who they are consulting with, and why they are not reaching out to people who have some of the most relevant experience of anyone in the country. University of Victoria sociologist Rachel Phillips explains that when New Zealand was developing its sex work laws, "the New Zealand Prostitutes Collective was instrumental to shaping the legislation." While not all of their requests were included in the policies that were created, Dr. Phillips notes that "at least they were part of the conversation." In a press release from earlier this year, Justice Minister Peter MacKay argues that "Our government is concerned about the significant harms that flow from prostitution to communities, those engaged in prostitution and other vulnerable persons." Without collaborating with the country's largest sex worker support organizations, it is unclear how the government could possibly appreciate the range of issues that are present in the sex trade. To add insult to injury, some politicians insist that they are, in fact, conducting a fair examination of the sex industry. In a National Post editorial from March 25, Conservative Member of Parliament Joy Smith admonishes National Post columnist John Ivison for not listening to the perspectives of sex workers. She instructs Ivison to seek evidence "from the voices of those most directly affected" even though her own party continues to ignore the input of major sex worker organizations and prominent sex worker activists. Many sex workers' rights advocates are frustrated -- and baffled -- by the government's flawed policy development strategy, but they are not giving up on trying to get their perspectives heard. Even as the government ignores them, several highly motivated individuals are attempting to disseminate their views to the general public. Sex positive activist and Slut Walk co-founder Sonya Barnett recently launched a website called "After Bedford" in the hopes of bringing awareness to the concerns facing sex workers today. As well, a number of panel discussions have been held at universities across the country, giving highly qualified academics and researchers an opportunity to share their opinions on the best way for the country to tackle the issues that are present in the sex industry. The government should be seeking the input of all major stakeholder groups, including sex workers, sex worker outreach organizations and expert researchers. By not doing so, they are wasting their time and the tax payers' money because the findings that come out of their poorly executed consultation process will be of little use in creating an effective strategy for dealing with the problematic situations that can arise in the sex trade. The development of new sex work laws is a very important matter, as legislation has the potential to deeply affect the lives of some of our society's most vulnerable people. The government ought to be taking their approach to policy development more seriously. Celine Bisette has been a sex worker in Canada for nine years. She blog about her experiences in the sex industry on her personal website and has published editorials on sex work in the National Post and the Ottawa Citizen.

1 pointLadies, well the professional ladies, put forth an effort to present themselves as someone unique and special. This lifestyle isn't just about finding anyone for an encounter. It is about finding someone you believe you will click with. For gentlemen, well at least me, I make that decision based on how the lady presents herself. Her posts, profile, ads and ad titles, her photographs all give potential clients an idea on who this lady is. The name she uses becomes synonymous with the person who creates the posts and ads and ad titles. (it's early in the morning, hope that makes sense LOL) So when a lady uses another lady's name, especially a very well known lady, that new lady appears to be trying to benefit through plagiarism, that she is some other lady, usually a well known and well respected lady and companion IMHO. That lady is well known and respected due to her hard work, investing in herself and her reputation. It must be difficult but ladies starting out should present themselves as themselves, not pass themselves off as someone else. It is nothing short of stealing. When a client comes and the door is open he is going to be to say the least disappointed, and view the lady as offering bait and switch Ladies, especially new ladies need to remember, there is someone for everyone so they need to present themselves as themselves. They do not need to pass themselves off as someone else. Bait and switch, be it in the form of name stealing, plagiarism of ad titles/posts, fake photos are capital offences in this lifestyle and completely unacceptable. A lady created her reputation with her name, another lady stealing that name not at all acceptable. Normally any evidence of such plagiarism/stealing should be reported. If this lady is brand new to the lifestyle and immediately corrected her error after being messaged, then she learned. But those experienced in this lifestyle know better. Anyhow, a morning rambling over my first cup of coffee RG

1 pointNice thread. I think it really shows the importance of being willing to communicate. So many people are shy about asking for what they want or offering some direction. And it's a shame, because most people want to please. They want to hear about what works for a given person. And with the right tone or a coy smile, doing so can be done in a way that is itself sexy and enticing; it isn't a criticism. The problem is without that communication the other person is left guessing a lot more, and so are going to naturally start with the ways they think will work. An attentive lover will try to pick up on signs, but it still leaves a lot more trial and error, like having a ring of keys you're going through one by one to open the lock! :)

1 pointTo the CEO and Board of Directors of BBM. Slightly more than a year ago I determined that I might develop a proposal for creating a second BBM Lodge, based on its extraordinary success. I totally disappeared from the world and devoted my time to exploring options and putting together a portfolio for your consideration. It is entitled : BBM East At this time I wish to submit a preliminary inquiry as to its feasibility. In order to assure you of my commitment to this enterprise I am including at this point only two small sections of the overall document. Part One: Business Plan I have developed what I believe will be the secret to success, and as you will note, the first document is the basic plan and the second document shows the more detailed operating procedure. - Part Two: Marketing and Advertising All successful businesses and all successful franchises require a solid advertising plan and I determined that it would be best to seek out employees who have a proven track record. One of the most successful franchises in history is of course McDonalds, and I have believe that I have pulled off a coup by bringing their creative advertising agency on board. I shall include a few samples of their work. - - - - Phaedrus, Lee Richards, Old Dog and other BBM executives, I respectfully submit this preliminary inquiry for your perusal. Should this strike your interest I have additional work completed on other aspects such as but not restricted to, a location and property, travel arrangements to the new resort, security, dining and other criteria that would make this a unique and successful addition to your BBM Lodge. I await your response. Respectfully Submitted. MN2

1 pointAbsolutely! I am not shy to admit that I am a total gamer geek. I have an XBox 360 and an Xbox One at my house. Once upon a time I was very into MMORPGs. I played Everquest first, then Dark age Of Camelot. Loved them, but they were a time suck so I walked away. Now I love my consoles as I can play and walk away when I feel like it or need to. Xbox 360 I play Skyrim (LOVE) and just got Splinter Cell blacklist (so suck at that one - so far - lol) Xbox one I play Assassins Creed Black flag (FUN!) I have other games for each but don't play them much. I tend to sink myself into one game at a time and get hooked on it. Right now, that's Skyrim (again/still, as my xbox 360 wasn't reading discs so I didn't play for a while, and finally bought a new one!) Ok, my geek admission is over. :)

1 pointI always tell a prospective provider that I am black. It is her RIGHT to refuse to see a black person. Disclosing my race serves two purposes : (1) it allows her to come up with a good excuse (for example, emergency in the family) to cancel the date and (2) avoids placing her in an uncomfortable position should she honour the appointment only to meet a black man. Brother, why are you confused? Don't you have confidence in yourself? NEVER allow any one to make you feel inadequate. If you are turned down, find another date. Cheers.
