  1. Overall I think this is needed. It is a matter of the legal system catching up to technology. I trust that it will be written in a wise enough fashion to prevent abuse. In terms of applicability to CERB, I wonder if an SP who has her pictures stolen could use this to defend herself. I've seen threads on here warning of people posting ads with pictures of an SP from elsewhere in the country, whether it is for some malicious intent or just bait and switch. Depending on the wording of the legislation, I could see this applying here regardless of whether the picture was previously distributed by the owner.
  2. Another vote for McKelvies, my favorite, just watch the shellfish. Vinnie's Pasta Bar - great affordable Italian Talay Thai - favorite Thai food, wide menu Fireside - casual fine dining, great cocktails Onyx - fine dining, even better cocktails Rock Bottom Brewery - on spring garden, great microbrew, pretty good food and atmosphere Henry House - on Barrington near morris, great pub food
  3. March/April is busy for students. 2nd Semester classes are about done now, so I wouldn't expect to hear from her at least until after exams are done. No inside info or anything, just my recalling my own days as a student.
  4. That's just a text message sent from the web. For example, Telus lets you send a text message to any Telus customer from this web page: http://www.telusmobility.com/en/NS/send_message/ When I text myself from this page it comes form 999-999-9999. Other carriers have similar features.
  5. I'll likewise add my voice here. I had met Allyson last weekend had a truly fantastic time. She is beautiful, smart, affectionate, and friendly. She really give a truly sensual, genuine GFE experience, and I plan to spend time her again soon.
  6. I've been eager to meet Allyson too. Since last winter. She's certainty building up some nice anticipation. All in good time! :)
  7. I've never met any of them. I believe Lexxxus works with or does duos with Nikki Menage. I emailed her last month, she seemed nice, but I haven't gotten around to booking an appointment yet.
  8. The most I've seen advertised on the east coast is $300, but I'm sure at some point an SP has billed out at a higher rate (and will again). Every lady I've spoken to feels that that is the generally accepted ceiling here at least until inflation pushes it up. I think ultimately it comes down to supply and demand. Travelling ladies do seem to get higher billing rates. I think that has as much to do with reaching new markets as it does covering costs. I've known a couple of fantastic ladies that should easily charge a premium price, but local obligations keep them from travelling and as such their rates were forced down. As one SP described it to me: guys get bored; keep moving and you're always the hot new girl in town, especially when you return home. As for exclusive... you mean highly sought after? Difficult to obtain a booking? I guess anyone that requires a reference might be considered 'exclusive'. If an SP is doing so well that she can limit new clients to only those with a personal recommendation then that's impressive.
  9. At least one of those pictures are public domain boobs, at least according to a TinEye search. And I think she's posted under other names.
  10. It is not exactly what your are describing, but I do something similar with an android app. Essentially I use an app to backup my sms messages to my email account. If they're not marked as read on backup then it would trigger an email notification on my device. That might meet your objectives... with the caveat that this is all stuff I'm doing on Android and with a data plan. Just an idea. Or try contacting your carrier to see if they have any solutions (and hope they don't charge outrageously for it).
  11. Almost always a deal breaker for me, but in the other direction. BBBJ, anything unsafe for that matter, is a real turn off for me except for when I'm in a relationship. I don't judge anyone and respect other's choices with respect to services, but for me that reveals that the SP's risk tolerance for safety is considerably different than my own. I've talked to many SP's about this. I've noticed that women from areas with a lot of competition often describe how much pressure is on them to provide BBBJ. So much pressure that they ultimately caved in to keep from losing business. I think that's heartbreaking, seriously. Do it if you want, that's cool, but if you don't then stand your ground. :) :condom:
  12. I tried emailing, then noted your post here and sent a text. She replied lightning fast to the text.
  13. I'm also late in replying here. I've seen her twice in as many months and both times left me wanting more. She is smart, welcoming, wild, and she has an amazing fit body. You just can't got wrong by paying here a visit.
  14. I think vacations probably have a lot to do with this. The whole city is slow right now unless you're a tourist. On the bright side the morning traffic is awesome. Maybe also a few more ladies on their summer break from school trying to put in more hours as SP's.
  15. Those kind of jobs pay off in the end, and your managers will remember your work ethic for sticking it out. Hope I get a chance to meet you in the fall. :)
  16. I think too much is made of the multiple names issue. It certainly is possible that an SP could be using multiple identities for some nefarious reason, but there are also many valid reasons: - Safety - Trying to avoid/escape a stalker or bad client - Rebranding - Some very highly respected SP's on here have transparently and publically announced new names as they've matured, not to hide anything, but just to refresh their image. - Clarity - An SP starts out and calls herself 'Jane' only to find there is another Jane out there, then she's either being confused with a bad rep or stepping on the toes of the other competitor, neither of which is desirable; also helpful if they want to expand into other markets where the could be several Janes - Privacy - I've known more than one SP whos job accidental spilled into their personal life. Killing off the persona their friends and family had become aware of was the only way to keep working. - New leaf - Like any new job, new SP's likely make mistakes when they start out. Provided the lessons are learned I don't the the harm in wiping the slate clean. The inexperience point is a good one as well. Many men are fickle. They can be very attracted to the hot new SP, but when she is not 'new' any more they'll try the next new lady. That can put pressure on an inexperienced SP who is trying to pay the bills. Not a great excuse, but a logical explanation that I've heard before.
  17. I've seen her a few times and like her a lot. She's friendly, petite, and sexy. Cute smile, too. The only catch with her is that she seems to only do escorting when she needs the money, perhaps. So trying to get a hold of her can really be hit or miss sometimes. Its just not full time, long term job for her, or that's my impression anyway.
  18. Life gets in the way sometimes. Cancellations don't really bother me as long as it is done respectfully and professionally. One of my favourite SP's on here has not made an appointment on a few occasions but I know she has family obligations, a good distance to travel and she always tries her best to reschedule. That doesn't put me off one bit. But there are those very rare occasions you just feel jerked around... one time I drove an hour to meet someone new only to find I had been given the wrong hotel number and she wasn't answering her phone. When I got home she apologized and asked me to come back, so she gave me another room number, this one on the ninth floor... of an eight floor hotel. Grrrrr... From the other point of view, I've always found SP's to be very gracious when I have had to cancel. Gentlemen, if you have to cancel on an SP do take the time to contact them and if at all possible do it immediately. Given notice she might still have time to book someone else in that slot. Otherwise she is losing money she could have earned elsewhere. She might just need that time slot to pay her bills for the month, make a rent payment, support her kids, etc.
  19. Any idea who the duo is with?
  20. I think the person who told you that is slightly misinformed. :) As far as the income tax act is concerned there is no way you can get different brackets or tax rates depending on how you classify your income or what industry you are in. After you arrive at taxable income the tax calculation is kind of neutral regarding where the income comes from. Unless perhaps an individual province has specific legislation providing a tax credit to entertainers in general.
  21. I greatly sympathize with him. Changing the number wouldn't just result in loss of business, giving his profession it could result in loss of life. And he can't just turn his phone on silent overnight. It is a genuine news story though. Anything with hint of sex is a story that will sell. A good writer will pursue this story and a good publisher will give it enough column space because it will catch people's eyes and get them talking. And here we are on page 2...
  22. I will agree with you there. One of my favourite SP's was a young girl of 20-21. She was certainty learning as she went along, and did have a few mentors, but she also got herself into some legal problems by taking risks as young people often do. One of my best friends is a girl who I previously dated when she was 18 and I was 28. She was more mature at 18 than most of my mid-30's aged friends are today. Age is just a number. However it is not just the number that concerns me with emily18. It's the risk. I think she could benefit from a mentor (especially one who would be frank enough with her to help her out of the industry if it is not right for her).
  23. That was the thing that struck me as a concern as well. Here's a young girl demonstrating that she doesn't exactly know how to stay safe. She's posting her face on-line, presumably her ID, and in just a single email to me I could identify that she is in the school system and quite possibly her real last name and first initial. That is way too much personal info. Not to mention that she's getting in a shouting match on CL about whether she's legal or not. Talk about drawing the wrong kind of public attention in a profession that requires discretion. Hope she doesn't get herself into trouble.
  24. I had emailed her before a couple of the younger looking pictures went up. She replied from an email domain with the NS Department of Education. Spooked me a little. As said above, I don't know anything and that doesn't prove anything about age. But it does hint at crazy. Well, that's harsh... Let's say she hasn't quite learned how to be safe, discrete, and professional yet. We all have to learn somewhere I guess. I'll pass on TOFTT this time.
  25. Essentially this is correct. We have a self-reporting tax system, and outside of getting tax slips CRA will accept what you report as self employed income. Now as someone on the previous page brought up it does need to be reasonable under the circumstances. If someone has been working as an SP for 20 years, they have a $400k home and are driving a new BMW it may make CRA ask where the money is coming from if you're only reporting $20k sales per year or not filing at all for that matter. How will they ever know what you drive or where you live? They likely never will unless someone tips them off (divorcing spouses and angry ex-business partners are notorious for dropping hints to CRA, but anyone with a chip on their shoulder would do). Shy of an extreme example like the above, it would be very difficult for CRA to prove anything beyond what you are depositing to your bank account. That is solid proof of cashflow. What you don't deposit is going to be near impossible to measure. But it would be awfully difficult to ever buy a house or build that self-directed retirement plan without creating the audit trail with deposits. And don't forget GST/HST either. Over $30k in sales and technically you need to register for GST and collect it from clients or it would come out of your pocket. As for registering a business, a lot of jurisdictions legally require anyone operating a business to register the business name unless it is just your real name. So you're ok if your business is just 'Jane Smith' but 'Jane Smith, Service Provider' would require registration. Basically that's a compliance thing to get you started down the road of reporting income. I can't say I've ever prepared a return for an SP. Neither have I heard of a CRA crackdown on this industry. As someone else mentioned it is largely 'off the grid' so to speak. And from CRA's perspective it would be exceedingly difficult and costly to find and audit because I suspect a lot of the cash won't ever see a bank statement. (They are considerably more interested in challenging claimed expenses on the returns people willingly file). In other words, I wouldn't lose much sleep over it.
