  1. Yeah, it's more about chemistry, and you never really know that until you're in the moment. That being said, I'm always a bit more cautious with younger women because I feel the risk is higher. To generalize a bit, I think they are more likely to not understand how to be discrete, to not know how to put on a condom properly, to be into drugs, or to be working for a pimp. Not always, but in nearly every aspect of life, with maturity comes a bit of risk aversion, and more mature SP's side step a lot of these risky habits. Also, if you're visiting a 20 year old SP then you're generally there for the 20 year old body. Some know they're trading on that only and it's enough to make a living, so they don't offer much more during the date. Experienced ladies know that the body might trigger a first visit, but personality, chemistry, and overall quality of the experience will bring repeat visits. I'm much more likely to call on a mature SP's hospitality a second time.
  2. She does take a sabbatical now and then, sometimes for quite a while. Not entirely unusual.
  3. "24/7" is a fairly generic term. I wouldn't consider it exclusive to that one agency. Their adds tend to be posted in bunches and with all the same contact number. But that's just a personal observation and I can't say they don't advertise under slightly different branding or that one of their girls hasn't gone independent. Personally I just stay from all reference to it just to be safe. There's something about being available "24/7" that just makes me uneasy. Not that an independent, reputable lady wouldn't make that kind of accommodation. But something about it sounds less like a choice of working hours and more like a handler telling a girl when and where to go.
  4. Most ladies in or visiting Halifax tend to go downtown. I presume because that's where the highest concentration of up-scale hotels are located. Parking really isn't that bad down town. If you give yourself a few more minutes to find parking and concede that you aren't going to score that golden spot right in front of your destination it's okay 19 days out of 20. I am a bit surprised that ladies don't take advantage of the nice hotels elsewhere though. Clayton Park or Dartmouth Crossing for example. I don't think you can please everyone with location, but you won't drive anyone away either; we're visiting for the company, not the parking. :)
  5. Looks like the often-asked-about Jai Lynn. Same measurements, same duo partner...
  6. Even more shady, some of the pictures she uses look like they are photographs take of a computer screen. Why would to browse to your own profile on a sugar daddy site (you can see the watermark on one photo), then snap a picture of your own photograph in order to reupload the lower quality picture on backpage? Red flag.
  7. Sleater-Kinney - Start Together Yeah, I like angry, feminist, alt-rock and I'm not one bit sorry!
  8. Kraft homemade pizza. Still my favourite.
  9. Well, variety is the spice of life. Men can be fickle creatures, and I've even heard us be accused of having short attention spans. In a small market like ours, broadening your horizons to BP can literally quadruple your options in a given day/week/month. And there are some rare gems to be found on there if you keep your wits about you and invest in some due diligence. It's usually pretty easy to weed out the sketchy ones. I think it is fantastic that CERB admin had the wisdom to allow conversation about backpage and even links to ads - it helps us share information about those gems and helps us stay safe. Keep in mind: - Some great ladies from CERB also advertise there; - Just because someone is not on CERB doesn't mean they're not good; - Just because someone is on CERB does not automatically mean they're great.
  10. Well, there's a rule about posting site names. The rules drive mod sanctions, they presumably don't just make it up as they go. There's no rule about getting into legal trouble off site that I'm aware of. Otherwise where do you draw the line for off site behaviour? Should SP's (or hobbiests for that matter) be banned for speeding or not filing tax returns too? There is a warning section for this kind of stuff. Maybe this thread belongs there.
  11. It's hard to know if the facts in the paper are accurate or what the other side is. Presuming it's true, I do have a bit of sympathy for him, but only a bit. It sounds like he converted an escort to a sugardaddy/sugarbaby thing, then let himself believe it was love. While the cash was still flowing! The penis was doing the thinking here, and we all know judgement isn't too sharp when that happens. He made himself very vulnerable, and as such was an easy mark. Good on him for making the tough choice to come forward and bring this into the light of day (assuming it's true). It makes you wonder how many men out there would have just paid up and let the scheme start again on the next guy. They say there is a sucker born every minute, but there are just as many predators walking around out there. So everyone (ladies included) should always use good judgement, protect your privacy, and beware of offers too good to be true.
  12. I met Kara as well. Great girl, friendly, amazing body.
  13. No, Bill C-36 is not law yet. It is only at First Reading and has not received Royal Assent. That process will take weeks or months.
  14. It is always possible they could alter the bill, but it is extremely unlikely. It would require significant public backlash. Sadly, I don't think nearly enough people are engaged on the issue to have more than a passing opinion. When this new cycle ends most talk will end too. I don't the Conservatives care if this bill won't stand up to court scrutiny. It is consistent with their dogma, and it will survive long enough to get them through the next election. That's all they care about: making sure this isn't an election issue, and it won't be a significant one because while the other parties may feel differently they don't want to walk through this mine field either.
  15. True, but no bittorrent host has yet withstood pressure when targeted by those wanting information. That's just copyright laws which can vary widely in terms of legality and public perception. Knock at the court's door claiming human trafficking or endangerment of youth, which you know is the card they will play, and I don't know how much faith I have that these foreign courts or hosts will fight for the privacy of tenants far overseas. We're going into uncharted waters for sure. Lots of questions...
  16. Absolutely true. The foreign host may choose not to cooperate, but most will cough up personal information when pressed by legal authorities in their own countries. The targets are the advertisers offering service in Canada, not the server physically located in Canada. CERB will be illegal. The sponsors/advertisers which help to cover site costs will be illegal. They pretty much went for the jugular. This is an attempt to wipe out the industry.
  17. Is that not what this section is for? Asking questions? If you had a friend that visited one of those destinations would it not have been the best option to do some due diligence and ask rather than either visit without research or dismissing it entirely? Lack of information does not necessarily mean sketchy or cheap. However... I will point out that doing a Google image search for the photos in that particular ad will yield enough evidence to keep you away.
  18. It's the same girl mentioned here, where at least one person had a positive experience (I swear I'll recognize those hips regardless of how many outfits she has): http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=159641 She usually doesn't use a name at all from what I've observed, although sometimes goes by "Mini". I've admired her pictures for a loooong time, and I've tried on a few occasions to contact her, but never with any luck. She either doesn't reply, replies but doesn't answer questions directly, and a couple of times just oddly messaged back "Hi!". Not sure exactly what's up, but if anyone has better success please let me know how you got past the cryptic. :)
  19. Can I ask if you contacted her via cerb or backpage? There is a different phone number listed on backpage vs the post here on CERB. The post on CERB further states that "This is my only ad and phone number." I had already begun corresponding with the backpage number but I'm slightly apprehensive now. Edit: Nevermind, on further research I see an older VIPOTG post where they are using that number
  20. She's a member here: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=80739
  21. There's absolutely a market for younger girls. Men always have and always will be attracted to younger women. That's actually pretty common in nature, I even recall a university professor providing an evolutionary explanation for it but I really don't think I could articulate it without sounding crass (I'm an accountant, not an anthropologist). But we're somewhat unique in the animal kingdom in that we have societal rules that contradict instincts for the greater good. Hormones are not always so easy to turn off like a switch a girl is a day south of whatever age a country deems legal. And some men obviously just don't care about rules or, well, just being an asshole. It is pretty easy to read between the lines with some of these ads. Although there's not many 18 year old ads on the likes or backpage or craigslist anymore (I guess that's too much heat for HRM right now). 19 seems to be the new 18. Guys, just stay away. It is very risky meeting anyone unverified and even remotely young looking right now. There is public pressure on HRPD as a result of all this media attention and they WILL respond. Additional Comments: It's not easy to help people that don't take the first step to seek help. Some of these girls are making these choices on their own don't want help. Others are afraid. Back to Bedford, the whole industry operates under a cloak of silence and darkness. Not just for fear of law enforcement (pre-Bedford), but fear of friends and family learning about a less than socially acceptable profession/hobby. Unless someone blows a whistle it is hard for the police to know there's someone there that needs help. AND then the police might even have to convince these girls that they need and should accept the help.
  22. Vinnie's Pasta Bar - Hidden out of the way near the corner of Barrington and Inglis, Great affordable Italian food. Think Vines quality only a bit less expensive (I believe they were started by the same person). Best ceaser salad in the city. Rock Bottom Brewery - Awesome craft beer, great atmosphere, and fantastic casual food. I love the staff here, so friendly. McKelvies - My favourite seafood place. On the cusp of fine dining. Pub - another vote for Henry House! Drinks - Onyx has the best cocktails in town, although not quite as comfy as the Fireside. (But I hear they are moving to Argyle St...) Niche is an honorable mention for an all around great dinner-party place. The food is great, and the live jazz makes for a great atmosphere. Pizza - Salvatore at the Hydrostone! Steak - Hamanchi Steak House. Not your traditional steak place, but so memorable! You HAVE to do the teppanyaki, so bring some friends!
  23. Yeah, I take huge pride in my parking. (Almost to the level of George Costanza's ego). I've had strangers approach me in parking lots and say, "wow, you really zipped that thing in there!" Just another computerized thing people can over rely on, I fear. I wonder, after another 20 years of computer spelling and grammar checking, where the state of written language amongst kids will be?
  24. I tend to look at things from a financial perspective, so here goes. If you're an established lady with a verified presence and a good reputation, you might as well raise your prices on day one under nordic. As mentioned before, I think guys will flock to safety. Women with good reputations might find their calendars more full on a permanent basis. On the other hand, as guys become more risk averse to TOFTT on a new or unreviewed lady, there will probably be a vacuum of clients for new ladies. They'll perhaps have to lower prices or be forced into taking riskier clients (encouraging more street prostitution?). I don't know if excessive "price competition" in this industry is the best thing for safety. Some men (perhaps myself) will just stop doing this altogether, and that will just squeeze supply even more. I don't know how exactly agencies will fit in. They've always made me nervous. With an organization in place it just seems to me there's more evidence (money changing hands, communications, fingers to point) there when police swoop in, which the new laws could allow them to do. They'd certainly be a more attractive way for new/unverified ladies to get their foot in the door in an industry that heavily favours experience. Which might only make them more vulnerable to exploitation. There's definitely Charter problems in all this.
