Assuming the prize was several million, the first thing we would do after changing our pnone numbers is to get away somewhere where it is warm with lots of blue sky. When you win you will be contacted by everyone from friends, charities, investment people, realtors, etc. As for my job I would take an extended leave of absence. While away, we would identify a few homes we like, and when we get back stay in a hotel and look at places. Find one, close as soon as possible and move as soon as possible. I would take 25% and give to the people who most matter, and then the fun begins, new furniture, new toys, new cars, home gym, and new clothes. I would then invest the rest, and never touch the principle. I feel that being well groomed is an absolute must. If my visit is later in the day or in the evening, I always perform the 3 S's, shave, shower, and shampoo. I will always brush and floss as well. I am curious how you would handle or have handled a case where you meet a SP for the first time, and it was either the case of an old picture or a fake. This happened to me once in Toronto, and I was very disappointed but I did not leave. Her pictures were at least 5 years old and she had really let her self go. This turned me off SP's for quite a while. Now that I have found this site and starting to network and learn, I will rely on you fine people's experiences / opinions. If I find a lady that physically and mentally stimulates me, then I will keep seeing her. I am shy, but once I get to know someone then it really makes me feel comfortable.
