You baked some cookies and they become hard within a day, put them in a container with pieces of bread, close the container and they will become soft. Use a big straw(like the ones from McDonalds) to punch through a strawberry center from the pointy side to the leafs and you will remove that hard to take off calyx.

This happens to me about twice in a year and I feel for you Jeff, it is very frustrating. I live over 1 hour from any major city in my area and I booked a 2 hour meeting with a special lady last summer, took time off work and showed up a bit early so not to miss my appointment. On her last PM she told me where she was staying, found a parking nearby her hotel paid the parking for 3 hours as you never know how long it will be, texted her about 5 minutes ahead of our meeting waited for a reply, nothing. I waited in the parking lot for 1-1/2 hour and I got fed up and left. She texted me when I was almost home and said she was sorry and gave me an excuse. She is a very well known SP on here and it was not my first time seeing her and I don't know if I will see her again. I hate having a back up plan and calling another lady at the last minute to book like that.

I purchased a used computer with windows 7 in it since my last one fried the motherboard. Now I can surf the internet again and come on Lyla.

My computer fried on Tuesday, I was running windows XP which I loved and I knew my way around it very well. I missed coming here on Lyla and following everything that was going on.

Fixing a sandal with the thong between the toes if it pulls out. Many time the reason why the thong pulls out is because the hole that it fits in got too big. Get a bread bag clip and insert it over the thong under the sandal and nobody will ever know. I hope you go down south and enjoy your holidays everyone.
