  1. " You seem nice but I'm here to see a specific girl(s) & I'd hate to keep you from making money ." Totally. I have friends in Windsor who danced there & in Detroit. I was dumbfounded by the money they had to spend to work at a club, so I get the hustle aspect of the business. But I agree with theoldguy; they would much rather you be honest than waste their time. It gives them the chance to make money elsewhere. Besides, you have every right to say no. It's the same as escorting. At the agency I would go through the spiel, describe myself, quote the rate & sometimes there would be this pause. Most guys don't want to insult a lady, so I jumped in an gave them the out. " Is it about the money or me because I can have work get someone else call you, just tell me what you are looking for?" "Really, sure, that would be great." I'm not in competition with anyone nor every man's taste. No biggie! The ones who are turned down & get snotty have issues & a visually based industry is clearly not the best career choice for them. Also, it isn't your job to feed their egos. It's the other way around! Sandi
  2. After all the details are ironed out, I have gotten this charming question: " Oh, by the way, my friend is with me. Since I never use the whole hour, when I'm done, can he take a turn?" My response: " Well sure....just remember to bring your 2 for 1 coupons". Morons! Sandi
  3. Last night I was given the honour & privilege of appearing at the Naked Truth Adult Entertainment Awards on behalf of our own valued member, Miss Carrie Moon. And here is her winner´s plaque to prove it!!!! OUTSTANDING!!! I had an amazing time with open, friendly & smart men & women from all facets of the business. While I must admit that as verbose as I am one on one or in small groups, I was terrified on stage in front of all of those strangers. I barely remember what I said up there. But I do know what was said about Carrie. We love & respect her, that much is obvious. But she is just as well thought of all the way out here & throughout the industry. The list of her accolades & career accomplishments was long & prolific. But it was also noted that she is known for her genuine nature, warmth, class, professionalism & of course that red hot MILF Sex Appeal!!! It was a lot of fun & I will forever be grateful that she asked me to go in her stead. I love you dear lady & I thank you for including me in your wonderful world. You make me look good. Now let´s all show Carrie how proud we are!!! Sandi P.S. At the risk of presumptive hubris, I do not want rep points for this. This is Carrie´s moment. Please & thanks. S Crap on a cracker! I looked to see if there was a post about this earlier, didn´t double check before submitting & totally missed the follow-ups to Vanessa´s OP. Sorry all!
  4. My ball season is over.... ....I have a helmet I can part with. Sandi
  5. LMFAO!!!! This cracked me up! But you can always use my e-mail, it´s on my profile. I would be happy to be a reference. Yes sir, a true Rénaissance woman. :icon_wink: A fan of anything user friendly, cheesy 80´s movies, smart TV. I am also a Kraft Dinner Purist & addicted to Duck Dynasty. Wonder what a shrink would do with all that?:icon_eek: Thanks for the tips. I have a neighbour who is pretty good & he gave me a disc with Puppy Linux to try. It came with a ton of pre-existing stuff & copious software options. Also, with one click, it imported ALL of my bookmarks from Ubuntu. That impressed me. It seems to be much faster than Ubuntu, on my PC at any rate. I can´t open my e-books, though. (They are in Mobi & Epub.) I can´t find a Package software program for it & the last time I tried a Terminal Install, I messed up & crashed everything. Ok, I just (10pm pst ) checked out the Mint site. It looks really great. I am going to look to see if it can boot from a USB. I don´t have a blank disk. lol Can I run both Puppy & Mint side by side & switch back & forth as I need certain available programs? That would be so cool!! You are awesome. Thanks again, Sandi
  6. Backrubman & Whatsup: thank you for calming me down. It made me feel a lot better knowing it wasn't a hardware problem & saved me from killing my computer. Rassilion: I installed jockey-kde from the Ubuntu software Centre. I installed the libdvdread4 package from the Synaptic Manager. While there, I removed the Compiz. I restarted my computer. Played a few things on VLC & Movie Player, went to Youtube & all is well in my realm. And the jumpy scrolling problem is gone now, all smooth & clean. I can't believe you walked me through it over a keyboard. You guys are just the best & absolutely amaze me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Sandi
  7. A different Ubuntu. The O/S now is 12.04 LTS (which I was told can have speed related problems due to graphics updates). What I had last week was 10.10. They did install the ubuntu-restricted-extra-packages. But they never did the libdvdread4 package. I have these drivers: (jockey-gtk) But I do not have these: (jockey-kde) I will install the above & hopefully it will resolve the problem. If not, I am actually considering just reinstalling the older version I had, I still have a CD. I used it for over 2 years, am comfortable with it & other than the power surge weirdness this time around, most issues were just a learning curve for me, nothing like this. Worst case is that I can unmount the hard drive rather than cart the whole computer, now that it seems to be a software/driver issue. You guys are just incredible. Not only the breadth of your knowledge, but the time you have taken to reach out & help. My gratitude is immeasurable. Thank you so, so much. Sandi
  8. You are awesome. thank you!!! Yes there are 3 problems. 1-) The files I am mad at myself about, I should have checked for sure. I have most backed up by I had some personal photos I may not recover. Bummer big time. I may have to just live with my lack of follow-up. 2-) The sound isn't an issue. Now I forgot to qualify, most of my media was & still is on a 250G slave hard drive where I kept it safe. I can still hear everything fine but there just are no images on the screen of any of the media players. My screen works great, my music is fine, my books are fine. Just not the video of my films , tv shows. And you tube video now is behind the sound. I thought it may have been because I downloaded my video media with a different O/S that they will not play on the one I have now? Meaning the video part does not transfer. But I have since downloaded some movies & the video still won't work. Or is it maybe my video card went kaput on the way home? 3-) Then there is the weird scroll problem. It's all skippy & grabbing rather than the screen flowing smoothly. I will look up the software you mentioned & give it a try. I just feel like a doofus because I always double check & I can usually fix shit myself. Once I learn, it never leaves my brain, hence my frustration. Thanks so much for your time BR, I kinda felt you'd step up. You are such a doll. Sandi
  9. I feel a killing spree coming on. Is there anyone here who knows Ubuntu? I have used it for 3 years, love it. But when I installed my A/C the other day, I blew a fuse. So I of course popped the breaker back on, turned back on my PC & gibberish appeared. Did all the right stuff to reboot but had to drag my monstrosity of a desktop to the place that deals with it here in Van called Free Geek. They use open source software, offer free tech support, ecological disposal of computers & volunteer opportunities. Great people & free. So my hard drive was as reading corrupted, most likely from a power surge. They installed a different O/S on a new hard-drive & I transferred my saved info from the old one. Then they downloaded the support software for Flash, mp3, etc. They checked the Flash on Youtube, all good & I merrily trudged home. So I get back, start it up. It is vastly different than the other OS. Fine, I have to relearn some stuff, I can deal with that. But later I want to watch some of my crap. Big Bang to be precise. lol I can hear sound but no video. I have tried VLC, Movie player, Banshee Media & can't get any video. On top of it all, now when I do any scrolling, it skips. I don't know how to really explain, it's like it's dragging slowly & jumping & it is discomfiting to be looking at it while working. And not one of my files that I transferred to the new drive. I searched everywhere, can not find them. I know, I know, I should have double checked. But they have helped before with upgrades & problems & this has never happened. Are any of you amazing tech guys at all Ubuntu savvy? Anything I can do to avoid another trip there would be so appreciated. If I have to cart this thing back & spend another 4 hours getting it fixed, I swear I may easily spend the weekend in holding. Thanks for your time!!! Sandi
  10. Some of the most amazing eyes I have seen are right here on CERB. Sandi
  11. I do sense Christine's frustrations, the sheer volume of those who found me ON THE COMPUTER, yet assume I am dumb enough to believe they can't see my site. Uh....no. But I am also a realist & don't suffer from the delusion that I am the only person a gentleman has called or e-mailed. I always make sure that my rate is out there somehow, just to be sure. Give him a chance to hit the ATM if he hasn't enough on him or work out any misunderstandings before we are both embarrassed. This will never happen. If my entire fee is not there, there is no first session much less a repeat chance. I have a routine from which I never deviate & I make sure he has all the info. Therefore I will assume it to be deliberate, insulting, I won't stay & he gets a one way ticket to a blacklist. And regular or not, the incidents of SPs sharing stories of, "I can't believe I didn't count it before hand" "he gave me a great reference" "I've seen him for 3 years & now he won't respond to my e-mail, PM, text" & other variations of never getting their money back are sadly numerous. Besides, if you are a regular, you know how much I charge so there is zero excuse to not have the whole fee. To any SP thinking about trying this, don't. The one time you think it will be ok will immediately precede your self induced ass kicking afterward. Sandi
  12. I have no opinion either way as to cut/uncut. Have had BF of both persuasions & it makes no never mind to my happy places! But I have a real problem with government intrusion to this extent in regards to parenting & religious freedoms. This ruling is absolutely frightening. An elective surgery on a toddler is vastly different than one done on a newborn during an appropriate time frame. And I don't care why they wanted it, at age 4 it is major surgery & I see no good reason for it since people who choose this for religious/cultural reasons do so BEFORE they are born. 4 years old???WTF? These 2 idiot parents waited too long to have it done properly & an incompetent doctor not only performed it but botched it. So now they are now going to negate the rights of responsible persons, whose religious doctrine mandates it be performed, however always by qualified professionals. Talk about knee jerk! My sister & husband had their boys done & mainly so they would look like their father & locker room friends. You know, peeing, hygiene, " the talk ". In Ontario it IS elective, considered medically unnecessary & wasn't covered. But they were fine with that & so am I. I do not feel state covered health benefits should cover one's religious/cultural/family choices. But to infringe on the right to do it no matter the reason, due to one bad case???? This is a slippery slope & I truly hope it is overturned. I mean what's next, you can't vaccinate them? How about pierce their ears? Where does it end??? Scary!!! Sandi
  13. Of course you are, but so are the rest of us. Welcome to Pervy Woman Central, a.k.a. Cerb.ca Enter, stay a while, some of us live here. Seriously though.... You may not be the Cerb status quo, Jenn, but you are a most wonderful addition. As Porthos stated, a trail blazer. Kudos! Now I prefer Outties as opposed to Innies, no offence, that's just me, lol. However, there are many SPs here who love to see ladies or couples as clients. You are already doing everything right. In this section, asking questions, receptive to feedback, honestly expressing concerns. A wonderful start. A couple of ideas on how you might reduce this, by no means a criticism, just observations from an SP viewpoint. On your profile, it says I am a w4w. Maybe you could put in along the lines of Bi-Lady Hobbyist or Female Client, something like that. You could tweak your board handle, too. At first glance, theDDD part seems like advertising your cup size since a few SPs do exactly that. Of course it could also mean you are a fan of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, but men won't assume that! LOL. As for the guy asking to share an SP, (seriously dude?) I share Angela's opinion, as it comes from first hand experience. Lol, wanna bet? If you followed one of us just one day in our lives, rest assured, you would see things very differently! You are a respectful guy, sadly not all are. You would be stunned at the amount of men who come to an escort board, looking to hire on as our photographer, driver, security, incall, be our boyfriend, all of which is code for " it'll be free then right? " And of course the one used so often I weep for the future is " I'm really hot, do I still have to pay? " No exaggeration. Jenn, you have no idea. At one time or another we have all heard variations of: " can I try you out first; what do you mean I have to pay you both; if you're already here can my friend take a turn too; I don't want sex, just a BJ; do you have student discounts; my rent's due, can you cut me a deal; I'm on a budget/pension/unemployment; I know your ad says 250, but I'm over my ATM limit & can only get 80....cool? " And I swear, every one is a real request. Welcome to our world! Unfortunately this behaviour is not limited to junior members & as for this: there is simply no excuse for not taking no for an answer. Sorry you had to deal with that. Jenn, you are new, yet clearly appreciate proper etiquette. With your considerate, respectful & open attitude, your connections with SPs, when you choose them, will surely be wonderful. I also envision your Cerb tenure to be a long & positive one. You offer the truly singular perspective ( and already have ) of being a woman & married & a client all at the same time. I sense your presence, opinions & contributions will serve as very illuminating & educational for all of us. In fact I am looking forward to it. Sincerely, Jenn, welcome & have fun! Sandi
  14. Congratulations RG on a stupendous feat! Your posts are always a good read. Intelligent, articulate, wise, funny & from an SP point of view, perpetually kind, gentlemanly & considerate. You are a most valued contributor of Cerb, evidenced by the immense respect shown here. Très bien fait, gentil homme. Sois fière! Sandi
  15. Not another one??? Gabriella, I'm only here since everyone seems to think you did some big thing. Whatever :handjob:. I'm not impressed, I knew before you got famous....you know. I really don't get it but I figure it looks good to act like I like you & it's raining out & nothing good is on TV, so...anyway...:icon_lol::wink: To Ottawa's Crunchiest Courtesan: (G gets it) Outstanding! You should be proud, your contributions are unequalled! And your ads, as stated, are in a class of their own. But that makes sense, so are you. Beauty, brains, & a bodacious spirit. I am in awe. Not to mention baffled that I can call you my friend. Your heart, your humour, your kindness & support are gifts that I can never even hope to repay. Your strength, your honesty, your grace & carriage here are gifts for which Cerbies are also clearly grateful. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us all. And congratulations on this most well deserved accolade. I absolutely adore you! Sandi xo
  16. Sadly because they are too bereft of any brains to come up with a more original premise for disliking another person. Setting aside the fact that half of my family is either Black or of mixed ethnicity, I find racism to be base & unimaginative. If one is incapable of mustering the intelligence needed to find a valid reason for taking issue with someone, other the glaringly obvious, they are simply too lazy, stupid & consequently useless to be afforded any further consideration on my part. And I WILL tell them so. Or lay them out. It all depends on what was said & if alcohol is involved. Sandi
  17. Congrats Sara! I love your unique, strong, unfiltered way! Don't ever change or stop sharing with us the amazing you!! Sandi
  18. Félicitations Victoria. J'aime tellement tes contributions. Intelligents, fières, honnêtes et souvent amusants. Je t'aime ma belle amie! Sandi
  19. Congratulations Jhena!! I always enjoy your posts! Cheers to the next 1000! Sandi
  20. Wow, this woman again? Unbelievable! If I have to see her name one more time, crap on a cracker, she's haunts my screen. Angela, if you think when I come to Ottawa for a visit to let you buy my beer & post my bail, that 100,000 entitles you to have me kiss your ring, or walk 3 paces behind you or genuflect in any other fashion, you are sorely mistaken. I mean really, the nerve. Obviously, I jest. Angela, there are those I like, those I respect, those for whom I feel both. Then there are few in which the high esteem I hold them is immeasurable. You are most assuredly in the latter category. And not because of your rep points, utterly deserved each one. Or because of your contributions, although substantial & brilliant. Or your presence in the SP area, though I shudder at the idea of it without you. It's in the way you carry yourself through it all. Strong, smart, self-assured, funny, honourable & true to your convictions. We are all lucky to have CERB. But CERB, & I by extension, are the luckier in my mind. Thank you for allowing me into your world, it is a true privilege. And personally for your friendship & the trust you place in me. Congratulations, Angela, on this incredible achievement. No one deserves it more. I love you! Sandi P.S. There, happy?? Word for word. And I was serious, no cheque this time, the last one friggin' bounced.
  21. I am ideologically, politically, militantly pro-choice & even I don't think the above is an appropriate post. And from this woman's perspective, any human with a penis can be a sperm donor & create a baby. However, it takes a MAN to be a father. World of difference. Sandi Additional Comments: Very true, but that's Nature's fault. Well Section 7, too. I have a solution though: B.Y.O.C. Bring your own condoms. Responsibility should precede procreation. Especially in this hobby. Women too. On that note, back to the OP. I'm sorry, but the last thing an SP wants is to get pregnant by a client. I mean really. Not one bit. You don't know my real name, I may not know yours, you may be married, I might be, you could be 30 years older, or a colossal ass. lol I also have too much respect for the discretion alone of the gentlemen I meet, much less do something so irresponsible that could up heave their whole world. Not to mention SELF respect. Sandi
  22. I never thought I could fall in love with people through a keyboard but I have. Gabriella, you honour me to no end. Thank you! So after mopping up the tears, here goes. I have so much respect for so many ladies here for every reason imaginable that I could be here all weekend. I know there are repeats but I started this yesterday & can't choose just one. I hope that's ok Meg, btw great thread idea, you are a doll. Lexy Grace: With her busy life, takes time every day to help out other ladies here, some of whom she has never met & may never meet. Protect them, support them, rally around them. You touch me with your thoughtful generosity, open heart, selfless energy & are without a doubt the definition of Cerb sisterhood. Emily Rushton: From 3000 miles away has shared with me her unparalleled business acumen, advice & support. And does this for every lady here. You are one of the warmest, kindest, most giving people I know & have shown me a friendship & trust that I will forever treasure. Samantha Evans: An ambassador for the industry if ever there was one. Brilliant, articulate, strong & so very caring of others. Raising the bar daily & setting the standard by which we should all attempt to be measured. You are grace personified. Words alone could never convey how grateful I am for these & all the other Cerbettes. ( My word of the day...take it 'n' go....) Know though that I feel truly blessed to be in your company. See you tomorrow! Sandi Moon
  23. An incredible achievement. You should be very proud. Felicitations ma chère! Sandi

Thanks G. I know, holy boobies, eh?!!! Lol. xoxo
  25. Couldn't rep you, I wasted it on a smart ass comment elsewhere. Haha! Irony. Gotta love it!. Sandi
