Helping someone who is just about to lose it. On the bus ride home last night, we were diverted because of a downed power line. An older lady with a cane was running back and forth in the aisle trying to make out where we were going, even if we only moved 10' because of the traffic. Everyone could see she was in distress, but the bus driver just ignored her. I asked what the problem was and I eventually figured out that the line was down right in front of her apartment building and no matter where she got off on the diversion meant a long walk for her. This new path ran about a block from my place. I convinced her to get off the bus with me so I could drive her home. I don't drive to work. It took 30 minutes out of my day and saved someone some real grief.

This is not what I usually think of when I hear the phrase "thick ebony". I still want some, though.

A real standout today was the VERY kilt-friendly CiCi. We spent a good deal of time wearing a hole in the couch and I'm not sorry for a second of it. She's a petite little thing and crawled all over me with acrobatic grace. Her stage show is really nice with a shit load of ass shaking antics. She is a lot of fun and gives me reason to return to Barb's on a more regular basis. BTW, this is a new girl named CiCi. Not the older one with the enormous ... attitude. Yes, I'm using the champagne room again.

Wow. That was a surprise. I was on my way back to work from a long lunch and passed by a group of what I assume were high school aged kids. One of them said soto voce to her friends, "Guys his age shouldn't look that cool." I didn't let on that I heard, but now I feel really great. Who wants to fight me, because I'll probably win.

Traffic was pretty light today, which gave me ample opportunity to get to know a terrific new beauty by the name of Jezebel. She usually dances at Barbarella's, but decided to give BF a shot. I'm so glad she did. A gorgeous little thing, she has some amazing skills on the stage. She has moves I've never seen before and an amazing pole show. She moves that ass like nobody else. I know the pedigree of her training, and I love everyone she has learned from as well. We tried out one of the new couches in the VIP, and it was very nice. She is a firm believer in club rules, as am I. It worked out very amicably. I also spent some time with the lovely Alex. She's a great gal who really needs more attention. She's beautiful, smart, funny, sexy, and a great companion. She takes great care of her body, and only drinks water at work to help with her very successful weight loss, which I think puts some people off. The water thing, not the great body thing. I think my favourite part of the afternoon though was watching Kiana dancing to German death metal. It was kind of surreal.

Canada Post. I mailed a gift to my niece for her birthday, but she sent me the wrong address. It cost $20 in postage to send, then $20 AGAIN in return postage. I'm out $40 and am right back where I started. Additional Comments: The price of vanilla beans. I've been making (and selling) vanilla extract for almost 10 years. Last year, the price of vanilla beans went from $30/pound to over $500/pound! I won't be making any more for a while. #sadtrombone

It has been way too long since I've grappled with The Beast. I think I'll put some "me" time aside this weekend.

There were a lot of the regulars in today: Tyra, Tamika, Khloe, Alex, Natalia, Tasha, Tiffany, Trina, Karma, Paris, Dallas, Skyler, Neveah, Grace, and one or two others I'm sure I'm forgetting. It was a full house and a lot of customers as well. There were also a number of new girls: Lisa, Ritchie, and one who stood out for me. I took Malaysia upstairs with very little urging. Her smile was easy and infectious. She has only been dancing for a couple of months, but wants to make Barefax her new home. That works for me! She is slight, and I was able to lift her easily with one arm. She was extremely welcoming and respects the club boundaries. My kind of girl in every way possible. She could easily become a new favourite. She didn't spend too much time downstairs as she is already very popular. I believe she was genuine when she said she can't wait to repeat. I feel the same.
