No reviews aren’t necessarily a red flag. The provider could be new or may not welcome being reviewed. You are doing the right thing by asking them if they would appreciate a review prior to writing one. As far as knowing if you are being scammed. If you have visited with this person a couple of times without problems then you should feel safe with them. If they start asking you for things beyond payments agreed upon or if the service changes then perhaps wonder. As of now it doesn’t appear that there are any red flags. Use your common sense, intuition, and read through this site. Lots of helpful information here. It is also important to research each person you are wanting to meet. Look for their social media, website, ads. Google their phone number and their pictures. If they allow a conversation before meeting ask them any questions that you may not find answers to on their ads or websites.

Didn’t want to keep this thread going but your response left me laughing. Can you not see the humour in your response? In one instance you complained that a reputable provider wasn’t to your liking because they charged you for your time and you chose to spend it talking. When the time expired she asked you to leave. In this instance you knowingly overstayed your time without paying just talking and smoking . So it’s not that talking is the problem it’s the paying for the talking and being asked to leave when the time expires you seem to take issue with. Mikey I agree with most of your reply. Although I have yet to understand the amount of talk that is shared among some of us. You”d think that some of us have nothing to do other than talk about the providers we visit. I will no longer share details about my visits and I don’t feel the need to discuss with anyone my feelings concerning any provider. I hope those I see offer me the same respect

I can’t speak for most but after reading numerous posts which lean blame towards the provider when service is said to be lackluster or vanilla, I’ll disagree that there is a general understanding of ymmv. What I take issue with is that making such comments can possibly cause a safe to see and real provider a detrimental loss in their business or reputation . All over something as benign as incompatibility. Why not just move on? Dangerous people should be called out but people who are providing a service as advertised need not be.

Apparently there needs to be more discussion concerning what ymmv actually means. Even repeat encounters with a favourite regular provider can be lackluster. Lots of reasons for a lackluster session. Some of which can be attributed to something we the client did or didnt do. We should consider that before coming here to complain that a provider wasn’t as great as someone else found her to be. I also find it annoying when it’s assumed that because a provider hasn’t any reviews or any recent reviews that we should be dubious of them. Not every provider wants to be reviewed and most established providers don’t need new ones to affirm their professionalism or legitimacy. So many here have been hobbying and members for many years and yet continue to ignore the basics of this industry and common sense.

And yet here you are, again! Let me caution you Lemmy Caution. Once you are on the web you are not anonymous. Anyone with the right amount of experience can find you if they truly wanted to. When was the last time one of us hobbyists from this board was outed? Over the past numbers of months at least a half dozen times I’ve read posts in which the providers incall location was posted. I’ll continue to trust those providers who screen. You can continue to choose those who don’t. It’s called choice. No one is arguing that. Yet the implications that our id or other information is compromised in the hands of a reputable provider has to stop and before Steve comes at me again to call me me a simp or that I’m hoping to get free pussy. My best might not be the next guys so would it really be helpful posting their names? This is different than a recommendation and if you have a few different names being mentioned as the best do you then post asking which of that group wins the title? This is why I find these best of threads pointless and somewhat insulting. Some of the grifters here will never understand that. Any provider who is authentic will have good and bad experiences. Some of us are understanding to that. Others will find the need to come here and cry about it while laying the blame solely on the provider.

Why do some of you always have to shit on someone’s recommendation just because you see it differently. If you don’t like or agree with someone’s opinion of another providers looks how about you just don’t see them and keep your mouths shut. We most certainly are all entitled to our opinion but that doesn’t mean it requires posting. This is supposed to be a positive board. A board that encourages recommendations and which has a slogan “if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all”. Try saying nothing at all for a change!

It’s been said a number of times by reputable people here that Lyla is owned by Leolist or vice versa. So I’m curious as to how that makes one site better than the other? Especially with the amount of nonsense that’s written on this site. Outing providers in call locations, childish insults, judgements towards services, and other things said here which shouldn’t be allowed. Instead I would recommend looking at social media when wanting to know about a particular provider. Rather than relying on any sites credibility since they’re all flawed and following the other steps you’ve included. I’d also recommend if the provider allows it speak to them directly. Doing so has never failed me.

Maybe read the last post she posted. She said she suspected the person harassing her to be someone from here. I know it’s not on par with what you like to post and read but she has every right to post here if she chooses. Here you are shaming some for being patient or forgiving to one provider while you claim to allow bs if it’s a provider from a particular group. I find that strange. Try sending a note using the contact us at the bottom of the page. I’ve gotten a reply using it. Must say I can’t blame you. Since I’m mainly in Nova Scotia now I’ve noticed the only people using this site here are same group who post over and over again in the discussion forum asking the same redundant questions in between their snide remarks. Anyone know if this Ben Dover person is a fellow hobbyist or a child? I ask because I can’t imagine a grown man trolling other members posts because we like someone he seems to take issue with.
