What I meant is I calibrate the real time against the clock in the room at the start of the session. If my phone says its 12:00 and the clock says 12:15 I know they set it ahead by 15 minutes. I like to keep an eye on the clock throughout the session so I pace myself accordingly, but that doesn't do you much good if the time is wrong. I'm not a very combative person, so I'll usually just roll with it but obviously warn other people that they do that if I see someone asking about them in the future. I mean lets face it you're not going to get an enthusiastic finale after calling them out for trying to scam you lol.

My rule is 15 minutes after the scheduled time before I leave if I don't get any response. If they text me something generic like "just a few minutes" I'll give them 15 from when I get that text. I'm willing to be more flexible if they have clear communication but that rarely happens. Your second question is a good one. if the client is late to the appointment then I think its totally reasonable and fair for them to send you out at the end of the time slot you booked. But if they are late they really need to be giving you the full length of time you booked. If they made you wait there's no reason they can't make the next guy wait as well. I always check my phone for the time right before knocking and compare to the clock in the room (many set it ahead) so I know exactly how long I've been there. That way I don't get scammed and also don't risk overstaying.

This is a common scam, just ignore it and block the number for peace of mind. Whoever is texting you is most likely on the other side of the planet, they aren't going to do anything to you.

I haven't travelled as much as some people on here but I have done this in several Canadian cities and Halifax is far and away the hardest to get escorts in imo. I think the big problem with Halifax is that there are no MPs and only one agency which doesn't even have a girl in the city half the time (not a diss on them, I only say that to illustrate the gap). In other major cities I could just book with one of these places in 2 minutes and sidestep all the nonsense. That's not an option in Halifax, so you have no choice but to wade through all the shit on the advertising sites. Even when I saw independents in other places they seemed way more professional, here it's like a coin flip whether they decide to flake last minute.

It's illegal to buy but legal to sell, so they can go after you but not the SP. The laws aren't enforced at all around here, but they do exist. Stings arent very common, several years ago there was a wave in Sydney with street walkers but i havent heard of any since then. And you're never going to get a cop standing outside of the room like that obviously, but its easier to accept that when you arent looking at a guy standing outside the room youre going in lol.

There's 3 different red flags there: -The last minute duo thing is a classic scam. -The picture of your face...I'm not going to get into because this'll be another 50+ post thread if I do. You know what I'm thinking on that one. -If I see a car pull up after the girl texts me to wait I am GONE. I have read many stories of people getting robbed over the years and "I saw a car pull up but didn't think anything of it" is a very common theme. Funny story on the last point, one time I went to see someone at one of those hotels with the exterior entranceway to the rooms. I text her she tells me just a few minutes. Then some middle aged pudgy guy in sunglasses gets out of his car and stands outside one of the rooms with his arms folded like a bouncer. You could not have picked a more stereotypical looking cop if you tried. I get the text to come in and of course it's that room. I leave, the girl calls me 10 minutes later all pissed, we talk for a bit and I decide this is way too much effort to be a sting so I come back. As I pull in the guy is still there, I decide to just wait and see what happens. Finally who I assume was his wife comes out of the same car and they enter the room on the other side of where he was standing. It turned out to be a total coincidence, this guy just decided to stand in that exact spot for no reason cock blocking me while he waited for his wife. With that being said I would do the exact same thing if it happened again, in fact in hindsight I probably shouldn't have even gone back but I was new to this at the time. In this hobby its better to play it too safe and filter off legit options than not enough and land yourself in a bad situation.

I can confirm the girl in the ad OP posted is definitely the same one that used the number years ago ending in 0595, and the pics are accurate. I assume that's who you mean when you say original but there have been a lot of different girls who have used that name over the years.

It seems pretty dead, only 1 ad since the new year for halifax. I know people are desperate to find an alternative to leolist but you have to realize that there's nothing unique about the leolist website itself that makes it shitty, its just a symptom of both the overall scam culture we are living in now as well as the fact that this industry is on the fringe of legality. There is zero incentive for any advertising website to police scams, in fact its to their detriment because they will make less revenue. Leolist has so many scams because that's where the traffic is, if people use another website instead the scams will follow. Similarly most of the legit providers are on leolist instead of the alternatives because that's where the traffic is. You might get lucky and find a hidden gem on one of these alternatives but the volume of ads is so low, and there's nothing stopping scammers from going on them either.

YFL regularly edits the tattoos out of the pics, that definitely looks like the same girl to me. Although I agree theres no reason to book through the second ad when you know YFL is reliable and the price is lower too. I've seen in other cities sometimes providers do both independent and agency work, they'll throw an ad up on tryst, then work at an agency as well at half the rate. Might be what's going on here.

This is the new iteration of that Russian beauty scam, was using Greece last week now its Australia lol. This ad is being run in every city in Canada simulatenously, always has fake review sites made, and has a weird deposit method (used to be art, now its ebooks).

No shows are really obnoxious, I've never understood why sending a clear text saying "sorry not going to be able to make it can we reschedule for x time" is too much to ask. I think stevens point was more about not trying to book her again in the future, yeah obviously spending 15-30 minutes trying to salvage the appointment after you already made the trip makes sense, what doesnt make sense is booking again after having your time (and money if it was outcall) wasted. Give them 24 hours to make it right because sometimes shit happens that's out of their control, but after that its time to post a warning on here and move on.

That's 100% the same as the Russian beauty scam, every aspect from the fake review websites to the "buy my art" is identical.
