I strongly disagree with this. I regularly see legit girls on X repost leolist tier scams, get into conversations with those spam reply OF bots etc. It took me 30 seconds to find this example, the well known pornstar Autumn Falls who was just retweeted onto my feed from a high end provider who visited Halifax earlier this year (they follow each other too): https://x.com/Bookfallsx Note the 1400 followers, compared to the 1 million+ for her legit account: https://x.com/autumnxfallsx As far as I can tell this particular pornstar has never offered any kind of service, and I seriously doubt an active pornstar would only charge $700/hr. Website has several inconsistencies if you look closely but at a quick glance is similar to any other legit provider. This one is easy to pick out because the scammer didn't even bother to change the name of the girl from the pics they stole, and they picked a pretty public figure. I'm sure there are many others that aren't so easy to pick out.

leolist Emerging Trend of LL Ads Looking for FWB/OF Partner
DaveM2 replied to Dawuid's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
You are right however they always put incall/outcall under the availability section and explicitly state they are looking for content partners so I get why people are confused. It's very deceptive because there is the option to list online only and they choose not to. I've even seen some legit providers from elsewhere in the country do this, then of course they proceed to complain that people are asking for meet ups on their OF. -
I've noticed this as well. It's always girls with extremely high rates, given that NS has a relatively poor population (and high hotel costs) it's going to be harder for them to have a successful trip here than elsewhere. Once they announce the tour and get too few pre-bookings they decide not to bother which is reasonable. As to whether or not it's a scam a lot of them clearly state that the deposits are "non-refundable". If that's true I guess you either have to hope they eventually end up coming or travel yourself to meet them? Or maybe they wave that for tours? If it's the former I would call that a scam.

Cherry Love - 100% REAL
DaveM2 replied to MikeyInHalifax's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
The reasonable thing for them to do would be to either offer better service or charge less if someone else comes along and they want to stay competitive. Instead we get this childish nonsense, no wonder the scene in Halifax is so weak. -

I saw her last time she was here, very reasonable rates and great service. Glad she came back because I know she had a lot of issues last time with fake bookings. -
leolist Emerging Trend of LL Ads Looking for FWB/OF Partner

Bingo. Pretty reckless on their part given that discussing irl meetups on OF is against the TOS. They are basically baiting people into asking for just that with these deceptive ads. -
I don't know where you are coming from or how often you travel elsewhere but the scene in Halifax is pretty rough these days between the lack of agencies/MPs and extremely high housing/hotel prices. If you are from a similar size city or have other trips coming up and have a limited budget you might want to consider saving your money. Most of the independents have sporadic short notice availability, and there aren't many that fit the groups you are looking for. You're better off waiting until you are here and then see who is working, then cross reference with the recommendation section. For petite (white) women my favorites are Alexis (9908) and Jade (4369) but as I mentioned, available very sporadically. Asians are literally all bait and switch scams don't even bother clicking the ad.

I think you can look in any city in the country and see that exact ad word for word. Extremely blatant scam.

If every potential client stopped seeing these types for a few weeks they would disappear forever. That applies to deposit scams too, guess what would happen if everyone refused to send money in advance under any circumstance? No more scams because it costs money to advertise and nobody is going to pay to run scams with no return. Unfortunately the number of people even aware of this forum is a small minority, and a lot of people have low standards and will accept the person at the door looking nothing like the pics advertised, being several decades older etc. Sucks that this kind of dishonesty is tolerated but that's just the way it is I guess.
-
The ad text says "yellow hair" which certainly doesn't match the pics so this is def a bait and switch. This one also wasn't at the usual locations and was a thumbs down, might be the same girl/group:

For future reference I'm pretty sure there's an agency from Montreal that's uses the higher end downtown hotels. It's still the same old auntie bait and switch crap as the others so don't be fooled if it's not one of the usual locations.

Stella French from YFL was fantastic. Don't know if/when she will be back but she has visited a few times before.

SP's lying about their age

The false advertising really is obnoxious. There have been so many times where I see a girl advertising as mid 20s on a forum account made in 2010. Always do your research it can save you a trip. -
The one sided legality and normalization of sending money in advance has created a feeding frenzy for scammers. It's very low risk to run deposit scams which is why people doing these IRL ones always surprise me. Only a matter of time before they fuck with the wrong person. I guess these people are complete morons though I mean in this case they had it all set up but thankfully couldn't even bother to show up on time.

Brooklyn B , White Highly Recommended
DaveM2 replied to Ayan's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
GFE and PSE have become completely arbitrary terms at this point. If you care about a specific service you'll need to ask rather than assume they are using the same definition as you. Fortunately in this case she makes it very clear in the ad. -
Multiple cities, 47 pounds, ad text was clearly run through google translate, Oklahoma area code. 100% fake.
-
Alexis, her ad isn't up now but she works in Halifax or New Glascow fairly often.

Anyone get service from “Kate” ?
DaveM2 replied to Ayan's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
I'd say those concerns are valid if she has a guy answering her phone. You might have dodged more than a starfish experience here. -
Mili, verified photos on LL

I still find there's lots of scams with 902 numbers, I mean it's not like it's that hard to set up a number anytime I've used a text app I've had no problems getting one with 902. And then on the flipside lots of girls travel. -
There's been some cases of Asians with non-Asian pics recently, look up Verna, Baby, I'm sure there are others but not sure if anyone talked about them on here. Asians definitely do cycle ads and re-use pics, and are probably the worst offenders for multiple ads. There have been times where there's been like 10 ads and they all lead to the same 50 year old Asian woman.
-
If the pics seem way off from what they say their bust size, weight etc is that's a big red flag. You're probably dealing with a foreign scammer who isn't smart enough to match the info with the pics they stole. Especially with weight they assume it's in kg because that's what most countries use for weight so you end up with ridiculous stuff like girls who are 45 pounds.
-
A google search of her number returns ads under all kinds of different names, most of them have pics of completely different girls.
-
Yep, whenever I travel I always recognize so many of the scam ads from back home. Saves me a click lol. Another tip for new people search leolist for all of NS instead of just Halifax. That will let you quickly see when someone posts an ad in Halifax, Truro and Sydney at the same time. Easy tell for a scam. You can also scroll down after clicking on an ad and if the same account has other active ads they will show up. This will let you see if they are advertising in other parts of the country but it's not foolproof, do a quick search in some other cities in case they posted it from a different account.

https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/nova-scotia/halifax_other_sexy_ciara_every_mans_dream_girl_incall_only-9102540 Anyone see her before? Same account posted identical ad but with a different number (Vancouver area code) back in January.

There's 24 profiles on the Halifax Tryst page, 10 are local providers who would be regularly available. I'll assume all of them are legit because I haven't heard otherwise. There's 2 local scammers who have been advertising regularly on that platform within the last few months, maybe there's 1 or 2 additional legit local providers who don't have an active profile right now? That's ~1/6 scams which is pretty high. LL is higher but a lot of the scams are really lazy and have obvious red flags. With Tryst the only way you could possibly identify scams is from looking on the review boards. If it's necessary to do that level of research anyways why not use the most widely used platform? I've seen dozens of girls in Halifax and only 1 of them had a Tryst profile, in contrast almost everyone on Tryst is regularly on LL. In theory the appeal of Tryst is that it filters out the scams but if it's not achieving that then what's the point? Especially if it's filtering out tons of legit girls who don't want to jump through all the hoops of signing up. Personally I'd rather sort out LL scams written by somebody with a 70 IQ than Tryst scams from a provider who built up a good reputation for several years then decided to start ripping people off with no warning. Maybe this is less common elsewhere but Halifax seems to have a lot of this shit going on lately so I think it's good to lay this out since I know there's a lot of new guys on here.
