Based on the client feedback here, it seems that lfk/dfk is very much on the menu with the majority of girls. 10 years ago this was unheard of! Now it's par for the course. How did this shift happen? And how lucky we are to have these ladies that make us guys feel so special and give us the opportunity to live a fantasy dream. The web has opened things up big time, but like you say I am sure it has a few or several downsides for you ladies as well. I wouldn't be hobbying without the web. I saw an EC ad by accident actually that created my first visit. From there on it has mostly been Cerb. Through Cerb initially and then emails, etc...I have been able to get a very good feel for who I am meeting with and vice versa. For me things have gone really well in my opinion when we do meet. I have met some wonderful ladies and ones I continue to repeat with when they pass through my neck of the woods. But like you say it is all World Wide Web! After doing things this way now for awhile I couldn't imagine picking up a paper or phone book (I never have) and phoning someone from the listings for an outcall. But thats just me. For the record Cat I do really understand how the web has drastically effected your freedom and privacy and you don't sound like a broken record. Sounds bad but I guess we have to chalk it up to the cost of doing business. Web dependency ! Hopefully at the end of the day it is all worth it for you wonderful ladies ! More importantly daty was not on the menu that often either but it is today with majority of independents. Another factor (than internet( I think the education that most diseases especially HIV can not be transmitted through lfk/gfk or daty (or chances are same as being hit by a truck). This was another reason as why escorts 10 years ago were not providing these services because there was a misconception about those services causing diseases. The misconception is mostly gone now. It seems to me that there is a business corollary along the lines of design products in order to meet the needs that are out there? It sounds as if the GFE experience is a need that was not being met a few years back? Again, my old stereotypes kick in here, but I had visions of short 30 minute arrangements, fast, down to business, cold and efficient, a revolving door, and no personal interaction. The GFE reality of today is ever so much more than that, thank the Gods, and clearly is a need that is being fulfilled admirably by some great women. So perhaps it was simply one very intelligent woman who determined the need, created the experience, with many copying and improving on it. Many SPs were pressured into offering these things in order to compete. From what I know incalls in Ottawa only began to surface 10 years ago. Before that it was unheard of. I've been around for quite a while myself, and I can tell you a lot of stuff we say wasn't around back then, actually was around. They just didn't always have names for it, nor was it a chargeable service. You could always get it, if you and the provider had a good enough comfort zone with each other. We are fortunate to have easily accessible and complete sites like CERB or EC but back then, the Ottawa Sun classified ads was the way to go. Everybody will recall a bad experience from an Ottawa Sun ad that didn't pan out as expected, but people tend to forget some more memorable experiences. Sure there were some bad apples but, there were also many, many wonderful ladies to discover. But no pictures, it was a blind date in the making. I also do remember when MOST of the yellow pages ads where owned by ONE agency.....when I was 14, my best freind and I used to prank call the agency numbers to inquire about a MAN DATE!!!! :icon_lol:...of course the receptionist would keep hanging up on us, so we would try another number and again, would be the same lady answering...this really confused us at the time...but in a fun way!!!
