Questions/subjects to avoid initiating with an SP

Recommended Posts

Thank you for that. I didn't believe I was sharing anything about providers that would have been considered private or confidential...I thought all of my reviews were strictly about my experience with them and nothing more.

I could be wrong though and I'll certainly try to be more careful. I feel that I've been extremely open about myself but I was pretty sure I didn't overshare anything about providers.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. If there are any specific examples, I'd be happy to edit or delete the posts. In any event, I don't want to be seen as a chatty cathy so I'll be extra diligent going forward.

Truth is, I'm through my OCD phase of interest in this hobby. You really won't be hearing from me much from now on. At this point I'm only responding to posts directed specifically at me or one of my threads so soon there will be very little to talk about. I do appreciate everyone's patience with me though. I know I've been very disruptive.

I will PM you because I don't believe in kicking someone while they're down or call them out in public. Although I am a straight shooter kind of person, I'm not a heartless soul either and I consider myself a professional SP.

I am very much used to dealing with people, the public and other people working for me and not just in this job either. I do what I can to help people out that's just who I am. However, I don't let people take my kindness for weakness either.

Sorry, probably wasn't clear... but my post wasn't aimed at you, or at anyone else for that matter. Given that this is the "New to this" section and that this is a sticky thread, it was aimed as much at someone who may read it in the future as at anyone who may read it now.

Yes, you, person who's reading this in August 2013. I'm talking about YOU!

The biggest things I hate being asked.....

Do you live alone?

You then start thinking, am I going to have some stalker watching my every move? I understand the question "are we going to be alone", but to ask a personal question about my private life is none of your business.

Do you have any STD's? Can I do you bareback then?

As I dont have any STD's, I certainly will not do bareback, especially with someone I have never met before. That is why I DONT have any STD's. Because I will not do bareback with guys who are willing to take a stupid chance with someone they dont know, especially in this business. Especially when they say they are clean and you ask them when the last time they were tested, and they say never, I just know I am clean. Well, I go for regular testing to make sure I am clean, why wont you?

I have said this all before too!! What sucks is that most get upset with you when trying to explain that their remark is out of line! LOL...I cant understand what would make someone in this trade/hobby to go bareback??? Like you are not worried yourself?? hahah

Cat I almost peed my pants reading your response!

So true but so funny!

I'm a fairly new SP and new to CERB, but I've still heard a lot of those!

Great thread, and I agree that first contact is like a mine field for each different SP for sure.

I have inadvertently po'd some SP with my initial contacts to the point where they will not return my enquires now.

Some of the things I wonder about this industry is not appropriate to ask directly as I believe it is against the rules of conduct on this site and may get me banned. If anything it comes from being very curious about this industry and it's "ins" and "outs" about the functioning parts.

Has anyone ever been asked the question

"Have you ever thought about doing porn?" I think that one might be a little off arc.

haha

Recently I have been asked, " how much commision do my ladies get paid" I am certainly never going to disclose that information. That is only between my ladies and myself. Trust me, if these ladies were not happy, they would not stay with me:)

I asked why he would ask such a thing, he said he woud like to know before booking. So I suppose he will not be booking, cause it simply is NOT his business how I operate with my ladies.

I was very annoyed and curious by this question! I do what is best for the ladies, and to maintain my business, just as any business owner.

"Have you been busy today?"

Do some clients say these things just make conversation just like when discussing the weather or do they really want to know? Not anyone's business except my own.

I agree 100% with you Nicolette.

Also "How many people do you see in a day".

I'm sure many times it's not meant to be nosy but I could be wrong. I don't think they realize how some of the questions they asking sound like from our perspective.

Although there are times I would like to ask questions back that may make them stop and think "hey maybe that was inappropriate".

What I wouldn't mind hearing from you ladies, do you have a "universal reply" for these types of questions? After all we are the Queens of customer service.

Guest D***el B***e

I should have read this post years ago! Ask me if I feel like a dumb ass now? I have to admit guilt in asking a few of these questions (and I say only a few!!) in the past, as posted earlier by CAT, but they were never intended to be demeaning, disrespectful, or uncaring. I love women waaaay too much for that and I get a huge pleasure in going the extra mile to pamper each one to the best of my abilities. I understand the delicate nature of the business but I never imagined it would be such an issue.

To all my favorite MAs and SPs, you should've kicked me in the nuts when I started down that path.

In my defense, I have at times broached some of these subjects/questions simply out of curiosity. I'm not on an undercover investigative journey, I find it's an intriguing business, with the ins and outs not clearly understood by the masses.

I know that I'll be a lot more careful from now on, especially during a first visit, but in all honesty I have never felt the wrath of an MA or SP because of that. I guess you are all very gracious and have found ways to deflect the questions when you're asked.

To be fair, this could be innocuous. Not always, but it could be. I guess an appropriate answer could be something along the lines of, "Yes, I've been rally busy! I went shopping, and took the dog for a walk, and had lunch with a friend, and..."
