2 pointsI love Cat's answer and I would like to ad to that thought. If we could all imagine that each breath we take is an exchange with another human being or any living thing. The breathe I exhale is being inhaled by all the world and that is such a powerful thought and reality. We are all one being, united and connected by Source.

1 pointI know this is not anything new but violence against sex workers does not get the same treatment or coverage as it would if the person or persons involved were not sex workers. On the front page of Thursday's edition of the CH was a story about the "dramatic" rescue of a deer that someone was keeping as a pet which apparently is against the law. Who knew? http://thechronicleherald.ca/NovaScotia/1202232.html Meanwhile buried on page 9 is this story http://thechronicleherald.ca/Metro/1202211.html Here is a story about a man who is being charged for the second time in six months with the kidnapping, sexual assault and torture of a sex worker he is also the main suspect in the disappearance of a third sex worker who has not been seen or heard from for over two months. So a story about a pet deer gets front page coverage while a story about a serial kidnapper/rapist/and probable murderer gets a page 9 rating. I can't help but wonder if these three women were 'respected citizens" would this still be a page 9 story?

1 pointTHINK and LOOK before you pull out of parking spot or parking lot. Nearly nailed two jackasses who took short chances with my car heading their way today. Don't stand in the middle of the street. I am already angry because two people tried to kill me earlier, I don't need an easy target. Don't PARK opposite or anywhere near the turning radius of a driveway. I won't feel guilty when your new car goes crunch. Don't remind me of the storms of your childhood that were much worse than this. Remember you were much shorter then and snow up to your chest as a kid would reach mid calf on me. Telling me to stay home and off the roads won't work. Calling my boss and telling them that you will make up the shortfall in my paycheque will. Hell, if you do that, I will take a couple of weeks off for ya.

1 pointI have always said how happy I am to see a lady but I have always said how much happier I will be when I don't see the lady the assumption is that they have gone onto something better Good Luck in your new job

1 pointLike the man once said, when the power of love becomes stronger than the love of power . . . . Jimi Hendrix, I believe.

1 pointLet's ALL get with it! Let's bring the human factor into this, PLEASE! The Ladies, not deer should be front page news. We all need to make sure our Ladies are safe! What they do for a living, should never come into question! Just my two cents. Or maybe we should let Picton out! Our LAW enforcement.... We really, and honestly need to give these Ladies a voice. Let's truely listen to what they gave to say, and let's all try and protect them from these killers! You and I know, that if we all open out eyes and see the truth, we really can protect these ladies.

1 pointI would ask for all humans to have "awareness". Awareness of themselves, awareness of the impact they have on the world, awareness of the connectedness of our entire existence on this planet; how delicate and intricate it is, awareness of how precious and insignificant we are. It would change the world and all other evils would fade... cat

1 pointI am officially a late bloomer. I will always be young at heart. And thanks to good genes, I will likely look younger or at least 'good for my age' too. I didn't enter this business until I was 33, and looking back, I know I couldn't have done it any sooner. It was extremely tempting to lie about my age. Who would know? How could they find out? By shaving some years off, it could also potentially increase my client base and possibly allow me to work longer. But I thought loooong and hard about it, and decided as much as I wasn't crazy about being honest about my age, I've never, ever lied about it before, so why start now? I'm 36 years old. I feel I look young and youthful for my age. Mentally and emotionally I feel no chronological age specifically. Just comfortable and happy enough with myself to be honest about it. I applaud all the other SPs who are honest with their ages. To me it shows integrity and confidence to be able to do so. We should all be proud we've made it this far! ;)

1 pointWhile I absolutely respect every ones right to conduct there business as they see fit I too have that same right. I'm not sure if I would want to see anyone who if I were to visit with them and I showed up on time well groomed treated the lady with respect they still would not provide me with a reference if requested. Personally I like the reference system and take great pride that I can list such classy ladies as Emma, Victoria, and Emily as ladies I have seen and feel confident of a good reference and I always greatly appreciate when one is given.

1 pointI've said this before and will say this again. All a review is is a hobbiest's opinion on his encounter with a certain sp at a certain time When 2 or more humans interact, chemistry comes into play. Not everyone gets along with everyone. A bad time with an sp doesn't necessarily mean the sp was bad. Maybe the hobbiest was bad (poor hygiene, unreasonable expectations, crossing lines) or the lady and man just didn't click. I had one encounter with a lady, no chemistry. Should I write a bad review. No, I'm mature enough to realize it was chemistry, and why should I do something that could affect her livelihood. Likewise she is (I hope) just as mature and not writing bad things about me. Just two people who had no chemistry. Also, another sp I have seen (twice) was great! But she prefers to not be reviewed, and I have to, and will respect her wishes. No review from me about her doesn't mean she was a poor sp, actually she was one of the best. Keep in mind 2 things about reviews when they are read. First is ymmv, and second, they are subjective, not objective Some more ramblings RG

1 pointThis is always an interesting debate. I personally want some sense of what to expect and that is best to find out from what has been posted, so I prefer the reviews. This often helps to tell the difference between a real GFE experience, rather than one that is like a GFE. To me GFE includes some passion along with the experience, and I find some offer a bit less, but still call it GFE. I guess being a bit shy, makes it a bit more difficult to discuss fully and therefore I like to been able to get some independent information beforehand. Once and awhile I may venture into the unpredictable, but prefer the more predictable route.

1 pointThere are, as mod points out, several sites that have such things and you would still be able to participate and advertise on those sites. Each site has its own set of rules, and if there is one that you have joined or paid for advertising on and they won't respect your wishes, simply withdraw your support and place your $$ and postings elsewhere. If you have a website and/or in your ads just say you have a No Review Policy. Alot of established reputable sps have this because they do not want any new reviews or need them. That means that anyone who books an appt with you agrees as a condition to see you that they will respect that request. These are about all the things you can do. If might be advisable to allow a couple of approved reviews, like on this site, to link into your website for potential clients to refer to, so it is more obvious you aren't refusing reviews due to bad service. You would only want a review, tho, from a well established board member with several reviews behind them. There are a lot of respectful reviewers who will allow you to remove certain things from a review for your privacy or comfort level.

1 pointI guess some people just don't get it. For the guys who are struggling with this ... I will let you all in on a little secret ... The ladies that have been in the business for a while are smart enough to not tell you things over the phone about sexual conduct and services offered. If you ask them specific questions they will most likely deny them if they are of sexual nature. Even though prostitution is legal in Canada phone solicitation (and possibly email and even online ads) are all considered "Grey area"! Cell phones and public pay phones can be considered "Public" (this is the Grey area) and it is illegal to solicit sexual services in public. To my knowledge no one in Canada has ever been convicted because of this but in strict cities they could use it as grounds for more investigations.... and if the lady offers in calls (Also illegal in Canada) then they could use the combination of the phone solicitation and the incall location to charge the service provider without actually having sex with the SP. So bottom line.... The ladies must be discrete!! ... and the ones that have been in the business for a while know this best! The reviews should not be so explicit that you could put the lady in a bad situation even if you mean well. If you wish to let people know you had a wonderful time without being explicit then a post like "I really enjoyed my time with XXXXX and I will repeat, her photos and info are accurate and she really went all out to make our time enjoyable" is not really a "Review" but it lets others know she is legit and has happy customers! I call this a recommendation and here on CERB we prefer recommendations more then reviews... that is why our logo says "Canadian Escort Recommendation Board" (Often mistaken for REVIEW board but we do wish to run things differently here then the other review boards) If you put any more detail in your post you could be putting the lady who you just enjoyed your time with in a bad situation as she might not offer the same services to someone she does not feel as comfortable with. (The menu does change based on the customers and comfort level - in many cases) Also if she does not like to be reviewed (Even good reviews) then you should respect her wishes as well. So the next time you are thinking of calling a SP and asking if Anal or BBBJ or CIM is available over the phone cause you read it in a review... expect the escort to say no! ... or ... no sexual services are available ... or ... I do not discuss explicit things over the phone ... or ... they may just hang up on you!! It's not worth the risk in saying YES! My suggestion would be to make an appointment (Not at a incall as this would also restrict what the girl can say as well as if she discusses sexual availability at a incall location she could be charges with the common bawdy house law) so if you meet them at a hotel or other private place you can simply ask in person ... once behind closed doors (In Private) and not at a common bawdy house they can say whatever they want legally and answer all your questions!!! Or bite the bullet and just visit them and once the fun starts you can ask as much as you would like and see where it goes. Don't expect anything (especially if you read it in a review). Hope this helps... should I make this post a STICKY so everyone GET'S IT!

1 pointThere are many reasons why a lady would not want to be reviewed. However, if a she was a "rip off", I am sure it would be published despite her wishes. Some reasons why a provider may not wish to be reviewed. - To escape bad reviews - Good reviews create high expectations which may not be available to everybody, YMMV. - Some reviewers are over explicit with session details. ie location, private conversations, etc.... - To avoid the type of clientele who are board hounds - To create the illusion she is a low volume provider - To remain a mystery thus creating intrigue of some sort - Or just simply put, reviews and or reviewers can put off a lady. So to continue to enjoy her job she may request this "NRP" - She just enjoys her privacy. I suppose for some, these are pretty bad EXCUSES!
