Ladies are ALWAYS going to charge what they want whether the rest of us approve or not. Some ladies would rather be HIGH volume at a lower rate than chance not having a booking at a high rate. It all comes down to what she wants to charge and how much she wants to work. In a time where people are hungry for business some will do anything to get it. You have to not let it get to you and remember that there is something for everyone and sometimes it takes time to find it. Clients will book you for you and your experience that you offer, not your price(if it is out of budget they will save up if they really want to visit (like anything if you want it you will save)) In 6 years this business has gone from one extreme to the next and you really can't let it get to you.

It doesn't change my opinion of him or his policies, but if Sun Media tries to claim that their timing wasn't deliberately aimed at hurting the NDP and supporting the Conservatives, they will be one step closer to earning the unofficial title Fox News North.

Prices are based on many different factors, ex. location, services, in/out calls, etc....! It is up to each individual to choose how much they wish to charge! I have been in my area for almost 3 years and I charge less then the rest in my area, I am also low volume! But most of the girls here will do things I would never consider! It is up to each individual to decide how much we think our time is worth! If a new girl came to town who charged less then me, I would not think of it as under cutting, because to each their own! We all need to stick together in this line of business, there are too many people in the world who degrade us for what we do! I saw Jayda's ad and read some of her TO reviews elsewhere and realized I had to see her. She is at a downtown hotel that is clean and accessible but has a few quirks, so if she returns it will be elsewhere most likely. She opened the door and there was the cutest petite Asian doll dressed in a wicked looking corset/garter combo. We shared some LFK and hugs and I immediately enjoyed how soft her skin was.... and how great her ass felt in my hands. Her pics are accurate as is her description but I was blown away with how pretty she is and when she turned to walk away after showing me the I about had a stroke watching her from behind. As beautiful a picture that may sound like she was just as engaging as a person and we had an excellent "get to know each other" conversation. She isn't just another pretty face, she has ideas, goals and aspirations that I found inspiring. She also has a neat sense of humour and we shared more than a few laughs. "Just get it reversed". LOL, that's for her benefit. She is a member here and being Canadian born there are no communication issues common to most asian providers. Eventually we remembered why I was there and transitioned into more fun than should be legal in an hour. BBBJ (no cim), DATY, digits, mpos, DFK, and given how we connected it all made it so good. And how do you know they will raise the taxes? Which party was responsible for GST, and HST and keeping it in tact? Harper lowered the GST cause he knew that the HST was just around the corner so the 2% spread over 2 years was peanuts compared to the 8% increase the LIEbrals gave us. They waste waste waste and then fear mongrel us by saying NDP will raise taxes. It comforts me that somebody like Jack is going to see some massage providers. After all, he's not stealing anybody or doing wrong. In this election, we need to have people at governement that are opened to the realities of today. Since many years now, and more recently, sex workers have asked that their job be more recognized, decriminalized and protected. Maybe that with political leaders like Jack Layton, the issue of sex work in our society will go forward taking into account the real people. Like Jack says in French: " je suis ici pour Monsieur et Madame Tout-le-monde".

May I ask why not? I think its our democratic responsibility to vote !! Do you not enjoy the benefits that this democracy has to offer? Health care, education, social programs, RRSP contributions, standard of living? I think its highly irresponsible to not vote - Yes we live in a democracy where we have the choice to NOT vote of we want BUT, if I were PM, I would make so if you DIDN'T vote, then for the next 4 years, you get nothing from the democracy you chose to NOT participate in - pay for your own health care, pay for your own child's education, pay for your own social programs, you wouldn't be allowed to contribute to your RRSP etc. But hey... that's just my view. I was unable to participate in this poll as it was already closed - however either Greens or the NDP will be getting my vote. Julia - I truly hope you will reconsider and do your part in our democracy and VOTE May 2nd.

I've thought about privacy issues and paid companionship a lot. Some men are almost rabid in their insistence that they will have 100% anonymity in their dealings with companions, no matter what. They often say that their privacy is more important than anything else, which presumably includes the companion's safety. And that's the problem. I sell fantasies. I can appreciate that, for some clients, a big part of the fantasy is to think they're getting away with something that no one will ever know about--including me! Who hasn't wondered what it would be like to be invisible, sometime? An encounter that leaves no trace is appealing to many people. Unfortunately, it's also part of the plot of many murder mysteries and true crime stories. Too often the victim in these stories is a prostitute, paid companion, courtesan or a woman falsely accused of being one of us. As we're all aware, even the federal government doesn't consider our safety to be as important as that of women who are not in the sex trade, and the police don't pay as much attention to our demise as they do to the death of the banker's wife next door. Feeling powerful is erotic. I think that some men enjoy imagining that they're navigating through a demi-monde riddled with crime and deeds of darkness when they see one of us. They go on and on about their safety and security, and they book meetings with those of us who will agree to see them. They get off on the company, the sex and the feeling that they have come away unscathed, that they have bested or tricked the underworld and lived to tell their story. In other words, the encounter may be, at least in part, about their feeling that they can compete with other men and come out ahead. Sensible women avoid men's pissing contests. Most of us won't see someone who demands iron-clad anonymity. It's far too likely that he may be hoping to get away with something violent. Speaking for myself, I'm happy to play a convincing fantasy game full of elaborate plot twists, subterfuge and secret passwords exchanged in train stations only when I know a few things about the client. What it comes down to is this: we're on the same side. I am not a client's enemy. We want the same things.

Reprinted from my diary I received an email recently from someone accusing me of being misogynistic and that i had a hate on for prostitutes ? WTF I thought to my self! What an odd perspective, clearly this person has no clue of what they speak. If they knew anything about me they'd know that I'm a frequent hobbiest and provide support to many independents in more ways than just financial. I suspect the letter came from an agency or pimp or indy that has made their way to the pages of the diary. My agenda is clear and simple. Honesty is king, if you follow standard honest business practices then you will never find yourself in the pages of my diary. However, if you choose to use bait and switch tactics, put customers into dangerous situations, harm or threaten to harm a customer, steal from a customer, provide poor unacceptable service or bad customer service then yes, you will be featured in the diary. So the next question is why, why do I bother ? Well by exposing the fakes and frauds it kind of levels off the playing field for the honest agencies and independents. If I can filter out the bad guys for the newbies or the unsuspecting then they can focus their attention on the proven quality and customer driven providers in town. Often clients who find themselves victims of a bait and switch situation do nothing about it. Usually fear of violence, blackmail etc prevent the victims of bait and switch from doing anything, they may go through with the service, which is usually sub par and no where near what was agreed, or give the money and leave. Rarely will they leave without paying the fee, which just paves the way for the fraud to be committed again, if they get away with it once then there's nothing stopping them from doing it again, and so they do. I don't publish private information, I don't print full phone numbers that can be easily searched, I don't jeopardize anyone's safety, I don't print lies. Just the facts. The fact is that if you are an agency, a pimp or and "indy" and you use fake photos to lure customers to mislead, ripped off or robbed, then I will print the information you used to lure these victims , to warn them of the deceit that follows. I will prove that the photos are fake and will continue to track your movement as you continue to practice your deceptive ways. I realize not everyone is going to like me , some have even accused me of being a "creeper" stalking girls on the internet , again WTF ? I see bad, I warn others to avoid or be cautious, how that qualifies me as a creeper is beyond me. Do I profit from the site, yes to cover the costs of operating the site and for hard costs. Donations are always welcome and many readers have donated, some do it often some for just a few bucks, others for considerable amounts. To them I say thank you, these readers appreciate the service I provide and I appreciate the acknowledgment. The fact is I donate a good percentage to charities that are important to me. I didn't start the site to make a profit. Yes there are advertisers on my site as well, again proceeds from advertising go towards covering operating costs. When I introduced advertising some said that would impact my credibility and that by advertising on my site advertisers would be "protected" from being outed or exposed. Not True, if any advertisers, indy or agency that advertise on my site were to practice bait and switch photos bait and switch service or put a customer in harms way I would not hesitate to report on them. To the credit of current and past advertisers that situation has never occurred which speaks volumes to their credibility and the type of business they run. To the original letter writer, there is your reply for you and all to see. Take it or leave it. It is what it is...

I think that cerb is more than just a recommendation board where people come to look at pretty ladies, read reviews, exchange information. It has grown to become a loving and caring community where we share much more than above. It is a community where we share our happiness and pleasures as well as our sadness and pains and our thoughts and views on various subjects. We are like a family (at least that is how I would like to look at it) and just like a family when one member is happy we all are happy for that member and when one is in pain, we all feel the pain. My 2 cents.

Well given the current global economic crises I think things are very good. Look to the south and see a country that is nearly on it's knees. I go through the US and I am amazed at the huge impact the recession has had on the US. We see several western European countries on the verge of bankruptcy getting massive bailouts from neighbour countries that are not far behind in ruin. All in all I think it is a good time in history to have the man in charge who is a very smart economist. I have met Mr. Harper and his family on several occasions, the guy is very dry but his loyalty to this country, and his burning desire to do the right thing are over whelming. His family is amazing, they are a complementary reflection of the Man. The opposition parties are going to complain about his spending (last time they complained he did not spend enough) but given the global economy and the economic climate present with our major trade partners it was the right move. The global economy is in a massive upheaval and we barley felt it. If you believe in luck than you can pretend we were just lucky, however I don't believe in luck. The point that Mr. Harper makes about the 4th election in 7 years is very valid, all of the conservative achievements, and in the light of the events in the past seven years they have been substantial, were accomplished with the opposition having very little regard to what was best for the country and much more focused on "how can we get another election and get back in power". The liberals have no back bone they have a legacy of broken major election promises. The NDP had a choice last Friday to keep the country on course and derail the liberal attempt to destabilize things. Instead they chose to roll the dice for a little bit more power in parliament in the future. It is critical that we get a conservative majority if we want to keep Canada ahead of the global economic charges that are coming.

I think it's a natural, obvious and generally wrong assumption that there is a necessary linkage between the price of the service and the quality of the service. I think that in general we are conditioned to believe that anything that comes with a price tag can be assessed by the level the price is set at. This gets transposed onto SP services as well. In Ottawa, the average hourly rate appears to be between 200 and 250 or so. In my limited experience here and elsewhere, I have seen some within and some above that range. And, regardless of what I paid, there was variability in the quality of service and my level of enjoyment of the time. Yes, the ones I paid more for were great experiences, but I also had a great experience for less. At no point did I think that it would be reasonable to haggle, negotiate or define that lady's quality of service by the price bracket they fell into. Frankly, I think that the service provided regardless of the person is so utterly personal and intimate that the going rate doesn't come close to meeting its true worth. It's one hell of a privilege to be able to share that level of intimacy and closeness with a woman. How do you truly put a price on intimacy? That said, I'm one of those less old guys with less free money to throw around, so I am necessarily limited in my activities and how far I can go with things. It's not that I don't think a lady charging $500 an hour isn't worth it, I simply have to look at the economics of it and see that I probably can't afford that. It's unfortunate because I'll miss out on meeting some truly sensational women, but it's just the reality I live in. That's not to say the ladies charging $200 are less sensational. So, to the point of lower prices being degrading, I don't think that at all. I think that, as others have said, the ladies should charge what they feel their time is worth, and the guys will just have to hope they are able to swim in those waters or look elsewhere. The only thing that is degrading is to do something that you don't want to do because you don't think you have a choice.
