4 pointsLet's take a moment here....if someone is so new to the business and they join cerb and find out that another lady has the name they wish to use and she is well respected and adored, she should change her name instead of trying to be someone she is not. Lets face it, you can google baby name and get 5000 in a matter of 20seconds. In this day and age "WE" as adults should be mature enough to establish our own selves instead of ridding on someone else good graces. Men see a name, they assume it is the lady they are seeking, they book an apppointment and end up feeling mislead. Why do I say this, as it gets REALLY confusing in a smaller city or smaller provinces when more than one lady has the same name. There really is NO need for this.... Yes I am aware that there is more than one Emily out there, I am more than fine with that when they handle themselves with class and grace. What I would not be ok with would be a new Emily pm'ing other ladies telling them they have a "nice ass" or "their hot" as that is just so cheap and demeaning in a pm with no other context to the message. Plus when myself and the new Emily are from complete opposite ends of the spectrum it does confuse clients(lets face it some times one fails to read the entire ad (men & women alike)). I worked hard to establish myself and other "new" ladies as you chose to refer to themselves as should do the same. This post was not about me, I am referring to me as to not upset any other adults on this board. There are many of us who will help out a new lady, providing that she does not have a pimp or other issues. Angela stated it correctly with if you googke the name you wish to use and escort it comes up pretty quickly if the name you picked is a very well established one.

1 pointI guess some members will looking at the recent recommendations that I had started in Ottawa recommendations and saying WTF. I firstly like to say that 2 of these ladies already had existing recommendations but they were removed due the Cerb member that started them decided to not play by rules, hence the ladies(Jessy and Stephanie) entire rec's (Jessy had 3 pages, but once the first individual starter(member) is removed then all other rec's disappear as well). I caught on to this only because I had not been on here lately and noticed my post count dropped, and then looked into the elite area, to find out what happened. This happened about two days ago, so Stephanie and Jessy rec's were removed totally. I'm not on the pay roll of Pink Kitty nor am I an advocate to get anything in return and never had from Pink Kitty, I don't operate that way never have never will, I use PK for the purpose of in calls and convience for me when working from one end of the city to the other. I have seen ladies that are independant or through agencies, and touring ladies, and I'm sure if this happened to any of them, it would certainly hurt. I spent my time and my hard earn money of these ladies, in fact Jessy and I have seen each other over 10 plus times. What annoyed me seeing her rec's removed but that is the 'rules' and I fully undertstand them. This thread is not intended for an arguement, or dispute about the ladies rec's, it is about ensuring quality information and done so by ALL individuals TO ensure all the rules are followed when presenting a first recommendation on a lady. I reinstated the rec's based purely ON my enjoyment with these ladies and did it FOR THEM, not for Pink Kitty, not for myself, but for them. Recommendations are sometimes 'proof in the pudding' for many of us that play by the rules and like to read what is fair and right for those men spending their hard earn CASH ON A LADY. Therefore if you think you can fuck around with multiple accounts, and set up some bullshit you are wrong. These ladies were after highly recommended by other cerb members so I thought it would only be fitting that these ladies did not get penalized for one guys fuck up so I started up their rec's again. Look at this way- An indy lady that has 8 pages of recs could be totally lost because that first guy decided to pull a dumb ass move. PLAY BY THE RULES folks the only people you are hurting are the ladies, or if a lady is involved it really becomes a bummer for her, as the 'shill goes'. TGIF

1 pointhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-13362927 A new vaccine can protect macaques against the monkey equivalent of HIV and could provide a fresh approach to an HIV vaccine, a study suggests. US researchers say the vaccine offered protection to 13 of 24 rhesus macaques treated in the experiment. In 12 of the monkeys, the vaccine was still effective 12 months later. They claim the work, published in the journal Nature, could "significantly contribute" to the development of an effective HIV/Aids vaccine. The researchers gave 24 healthy rhesus macaques a vaccine containing a genetically modified form of the virus, rhesus cytomegalovirus (CMV). In 13 of the monkeys, the vaccine appeared to offer protection against simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), the monkey equivalent of HIV. Of these 13, 12 monkeys were still protected one year on. The researchers say the vaccine works by stimulating the production of a particular type of blood cell, called "effector memory T-cells", which can remain vigilant in the body long after an infection has abated. Lead author Professor Louis J Picker, of the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute in Oregon, compares these cells to armed soldiers at the ready. "There are soldiers that are back at the base with their rifles in the shed, and then you have the guys out in the field," he told the BBC. There was also evidence, he said, that the vaccine all but eradicated traces of SIV in the monkeys, something which he said was "unprecedented" in HIV vaccine research. Safety concerns Researchers in the field welcomed the study, but said safety issues would need to be addressed before similar approaches could be tried in humans. "I'm excited by the science because it really does demonstrate that it may be possible to eradicate the HIV virus by a strong immune response," said Professor Sir Andrew McMichael of Oxford University. "But at the same time I'm scratching my head how to take this approach into humans." An artist's impression of the HIV virus, which is thought to have originated from a similar virus in chimpanzees Professor McMichael said HIV arose from a type of SIV found in chimpanzees, so the animal model used in the study was a good one. The problem, he said, was the potential safety and regulatory issues with introducing CMV into humans, even though many of us already carry the virus. "CMV is not totally benign, it does cause a number of diseases. If you're giving people something you're not going to be able to get rid of should it cause problems, then that's quite a difficult risk to manage." Professor Robin Shattock of Imperial College, London, agreed safety would be key. "The breakthrough here is in using a viral-delivered vaccine that persists - essentially using an engineered virus to thwart a pathogenic virus. The tricky part will be showing it is safe and effective in humans." Professor Picker responded by saying such issues would be addressed in forthcoming work, pointing out that early forms of the smallpox vaccine also carried health risks to humans. "On one level 99% of people in sub-Saharan Africa are CMV-positive and half the people in the developed world are, so we know at lot about it and it's mostly non-pathogenic, except in vulnerable populations like pregnant women," he said. "We're fully aware to make it available to humans, then the next step is to make a virus which retains or has an enhanced ability to make effector memory cells, but no longer has the capacity to infect vulnerable parts of the population." Vaccine failure Developing an HIV vaccine has so far proved a deeply challenging task, but there have been some promising results. In 2009, researchers in Thailand published in the Lancet the results of an experimental HIV vaccine, which they said reduced by nearly a third the risk of contracting HIV. Then last year, a study in the New England Journal of Medicine suggested a drug used to treat HIV-positive patients may offer gay and bisexual men some protection against contracting the virus. Trials of the combination drug Truvada among nearly 2,500 men suggested it could reduce the chances of male-to-male HIV infection by 44%. But major breakthroughs remain hard to come by. Indeed, the new Nature study comes as a separate paper in The Lancet Infectious Diseases reports on the failure of an HIV vaccine trial in South Africa. The MRKAd5 HIV-1 vaccine was trialled in a study involving 801 patients, and no evidence was found that the vaccine was effective. However, the report authors concede that the study's conclusions may have been compromised by a premature end to the trial.

1 pointJust as an aside, if a photo appears on your computer screen you can save it, not all guys are this tech-savvy but certainly there are plenty that are. I won't post the details as to how as this appears to be a concern for you but if protecting your pics and image is a serious concern you should be aware that pretty much anything that appears on your computer can be saved should someone wish to put the effort into it - basically once you put it online it's out there for everyone whether you want it to be or not.

1 pointI have to do my best to put myself in his shoes and believe him that his taping was out of innocence to look at later. In most places we video tape every client (outside the room) and trust that we keep the images confidential . I didn't know about this live feed stuff,I guess I am a bit behind. As much as he crossed the line...He is a very respectful and sweet man that has never given me a hard time. I have seen him since and we make jokes about the camera and this has never happened again. I have made plenty of mistakes. In some places I have been instructed to answer the phone, dropped my gum on him, ran out of oil ect.. They can be considered bad business and I could have lost clients over these, but I didn't. I have a lot of patience, especially for men. I gave him a strong warning and haven't lost him as a client. I am much more aware now.

1 pointRegular or not this individual has missused your trust and god knows how many others. There is no excuse for such behavior and personally I feel such individuals should be exposed. Do the crime pay the time.

1 pointI'm not sure why you would believe him. What else is he going to say? He got caught red-handed, deny everything would be the first thing to come to his mind. Voyeur/hidden cam tapes are very popular on the internet, they're all uploaded/download through peer-peer. I would do a Dan Savage and DTMFA.

1 pointYes it was Candies Jiffy Pop (the agency on the Gatineau side). I booked a girl (Jenna) for 5:00 pm but when I called at 4:00 pm to convey my address, the guy told me that she wouldn't start until 6:00 pm. Already unhappy about my first no show by Candyland, I wasn't in the mood for this one, so I cancelled. Plus the fact that they advertise on the notorious B & S site (O@N) didn't give me much reason to wait as I saw the bad sign with the unknown agency. For all I know, they could be displaying fake pictures as is common with that site (all those great pictures they have on their site are too good to be true lol!!!). Not sure why all these were happening to me yesterday (my SC experience wasn't great either)!!!. My worse Saturday in a decade (one no show, one cancelation and a dull SC experience). I guess the Friday 13th thing happened to me the next day LOL !!!!!!. Going back to the original subject of the thread, yes I agree with Angela. She is sweet and with exceptionally pretty face which I remember even 3 years later.

1 pointWas he using a smart phone or an Apple product of some kind? Two possibilities-have a rule that all cell phones and other tech capable of recording is presented up front and kept aside in a shoe box or something. And all clothes are neatly folded and not bunched up. Coats go in the closet and the door closed. At the very least, you can reduce the opportunity for this kind of surveillance. But it's still rotten it happened to you.

1 pointReally? A thread specializing in duos and I didn't see it before? What was I thinking? I really, really, really enjoy duos, and I've been lucky to have a lot of great Playmates that I've had fun with. Also, lots of guys have had their first tgirl experience as part of a duo, and let me tell you, they've always left hungry for more! ;) So, here's my list of Playmates that I've played with, broken down by city: Toronto - Roxy Powers - Genevieve LaJoie - Molly Robinson - Rebecca Richardson - Felicity Scott Ottawa - Carrie Moon - Berlin - Emma Alexandra Vancouver - Miss Freyja - Vanessa Kelly (Thanks to the CERB social, actually - we hit it off so well, we decided to do duos together on my upcoming visit to Vancouver! Thanks Angela & Nicki, your event is what brought us together - in more ways than one! ;)) Calgary - Claire If you'd like to see me with any of the girls I've mentioned, I'm quite sure they'd be happy to enjoy another duo together - or, if you're an SP and you'd like to add a touch of tgirl to your sessions, feel free to send me a PM! :) So much fun - I just love :boobies:!

1 pointIt's judgment day...not the end of the world...it's the day where apparently god choose who go to heaven and hell...but if I have to choose between serve in heaven and rule in hell...I'm ruling in he'll. And I am Wiccan anyways :D Posted via Mobile Device

1 pointIt's wrong though when the same lady is promoted with drastically different stats, and has been in town for a few weeks, months even... at which point she's hardly new. Classic Asian bait and switch.

1 pointI was surprised recently when a potential client wrote that he didn't want to ask his regular paid companion to write him a reference. He said he didn't want her thinking that he was seeing other escorts. The girl in question I know to be very reference-friendly, but he said he didn't want any drama. I am horrified. If I knew my clients were telling other escorts that I would cause drama and be hurt and upset that he was seeing other girls, I would be furious. That is NOT an image I want projected to the CERB community, particularly as it does NOT represent me fairly. That kind of image does an escort a huge disservice, and hurts her business and reputation. It also creates conflict amongst the girls. If other escorts thought I was a jealous drama queen, I would be mortified. By claiming to protect her 'feelings', this client is being extremely condescending and insulting. These kinds of assumptions about possessiveness and territory are damaging to the SP, and reinforce the stereotype that escorts are emotionally unstable. If you like us (and we're glad that you do!) please HELP us create a great reputation. There is nothing worse than having bad word of mouth, especially initiated by clients who are our fans. The idea that we are romantically or emotionally attached to our clients is generally false. The idea that we don't want clients seeing other girls is false (and kind of funny). We work so hard to make CERB and the escorting community a positive, honest environment. I would hate to think that these assumptions are reversing our progress. Your SP doesn't mind that you see other girls. What she does mind is the damage to her reputation inflicted by this kind of client.

1 pointSean Connery, of course! Especially this one: But even now, at 80, he's still a fine-looking man, I think! I do love a man in a kilt! These make up for this unfortunate one, don't you agree?

1 pointJug... this is chilling. You think it's not likely to happen, but if you knew the companion outside of hobbying and were attracted to her, having discovered that she's one of us, you'd set up a meeting without telling her and hope for the best? If that's what you're saying.... well, if it happened to me, I'd feel that my consent had been violated. Even if I was attracted to you in real life, being set up like this would be devastating. It would feel like a major breach of the boundaries I maintain between my ordinary life and my working life and I would feel very unsafe for a long, long time, anxious about what you might do or what you might say to others. I would feel extremely threatened. As for the companion being someone you hate and your statement that you'd meet her to be sure you had her identity correct before you "make her life hell," frankly, that just stops me cold, even as I sit here, writing this post. In thread after thread on this board, I read men's claims that they have well-founded concerns about fallout from meeting us. I don't recall any companion here relishing even a slim chance that she might be an unpleasant, disturbing surprise for a client, or a hope that she might be able to make a potential or former client's life hell because of something that's gone wrong in a meeting. Over and over again, other companions and I try to urge gentlemen here to relax, to be careful, but not paranoid, to trust us a little bit because we want a lot of the same things that you want. We try to point out that we have more to fear than you do. My impression is that most men here understand this, and that most believe that they're not going to hurt us because they don't think they're violent. Physical violence is only one kind of abuse and, horrible as it is, it's not as bad as emotional and psychological abuse.
