I'm sure all the victims would want a fact-based methodology for screening donors rather than a myth-based methodology. There are a lot of dangers in a myth-based methodology, including a false sense of security. The current system also allows higher-risk people to screen in, while disqualifying lower-risk people. This is not conducive to stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS. I'm also positive that the families of people needing life-saving blood would want a fact-based methodology that protects their loved ones, and also allows for safe donors to donate. We need people to donate to save lives, and I'm out!

Well, there is plenty to be said about Nika, CMJ newest find. She is a cute early 20-something, has a very pretty face and intriguing eyes, narrow hips, lovely bum, and perfect A-cup breasts. She has a great attitude, being there to have a good time and making sure you have a great time. Met her with Vicki (see my reco on Vicki: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=57240 ) and the chemistry between them was great, as if they were long time friends. (see this reco on Vicki for a training duo with Ianara-Lee: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=60450; she may have a knack for teaching.) In the massage world, the first quality is attitude, and Nika has the right one, being there for your enjoyment. Her massage skills are good, will certainly improve over time, her body slide is great, she knows how to use her assets, and she knows how to use her two hands to great effect. She also knows that tease is just as important as please. She is, as well, gorgeous looking without being full of herself. As I am always somwhat anxious the first time, her cool attitude certainly helped me relax. Repeat with Nika alone? Without a doubt! With Vicki? As often as possible...Duos may be the only financially-responsible way to go... toine

I think this is a more realistic way of looking at it. Totally over reacted. I don't think he should get fired. Last time I had checked they had the most stressful job and suicide rate(around the time of the shootings), guess things do change from when we do school projects in high school, but who cares, stressful or not, we all get stressed and need to keep a level head. Maybe his girlfriend dumped him or a relative died or house was broken into, whatever pushed his buttons, people take it out on other people and I'm glad that these days there is proof and we have the hand held technology to capture it all. I'm glad no one is standing for this crap anymore and I'm glad that this is getting media coverage. I hope it will make people think twice about treating people like this, not just bus drivers. One in particular Teachers!! Thanks for sharing this article, a great example of "we're not going to take it anymore".

Being invited out to a club with your friends. And supposedly JUST your friends! Getting there and realizing that you've just been conned into a blind date. Ugh...with friends like these.. Posted via Mobile Device

Julia, would you mind providing a reference link? For some reason I have a very difficult time seeing how a bus driver can be the #1 most stressful job with the highest suicide rate. I've watched and listened to many documentaries on the subject and the ones that keep coming up are air traffic controllers and train conductors amongst many others.

I actually make a difference between fuck buddies and friend with benefits. fuck buddy...well we only fuck. They call me when they are horny and I call them when I am horny (okay I am lying we text!) and we happen to be want to have sex at the moment...bam! :D and that is our only communication. and the random like on the facebook status. friends with benefits as I describe in my earlier post...we actually do hang out like "normal" friends, go out for foods and drink, play videos games together but the extra is that we hump:D and on side note...once I was with the said friend, having a beer, playing world of Warcraft on my laptop and I had sex doggy style. at the same time:D which was full of win:D

Do you remember about 20 years ago a number of people contracted HIV through blood transfusions. Because of this, Canadian Blood Services has completely changed their screening process. I am sure that they have gone a little overboard, and perhaps are basing some of this on myths rather than facts, however I don't think that is a bad thing. I, for one, would prefer them to err on the side of caution. If you ask any of the relatives of those unfortunate people that got HIV through a blood transfusion (you can't ask the victims directly, because almost all of them have since passed away!) I am sure they would agree.

I think this may be an unfortunate case of the myth being acepted as fact. You would expect better from a government agency. The truth of the matter is, responsible sex workers are less prone to STDs and STIs than the average sexually active person. But try telling that to John and Jane Public. I have heard many calls for a broad, agency wide policy review for Canadian Blood Services but I doubt there's any potitical appetite for it right now. It's a shame that change only seems to occur as a result of a crisis or during an election year.

Further to what Angela has said, even if you aren't planning on coming and would like to donate a toy, let either of us know. I am sure that there is a way that we can find each other to help the kids this Christmas. I have already received a few toys from a very generous donor and I believe that Angela has as well. It's a wonderful feeling to make a difference at any time of year, but even more special when you know you can make a kid's Christmas all the brighter!
