I was listening to radio over the weekend and stumbled on a bit on history. As they went on, they were talking about the conquest of the far west. As pilgrims went across the southwest deserts, they realised they needed rugged clothes to last the elements. Levi Strauss, a german emigrant, (levi being an englisised name), found cloth from France that was used for sails. It came from the city of Nimes, which is a landlocked city. At the time, the city of Genoa - Gênes in French - was the major port being used to ship out of Europe. As Levi received his first shipment of cloth, the box only indicated in french " de Nimes, bleu, Gênes" (city of Origin, color of the product, and the sending Port, as usual on shipments at the time). So in the receiving port in the states, it got "anglisized-pronounced in english" as "Denim Blue Jean". So there you have it, the origin of the name of the pants we love so much.

Time for another goddess! Today... Georgiana! If you haven't met her, you can probably tell from her posts here how intelligent she is, and from her pics you can tell that she looks damn good in her underwear :) But she's also a lovely person, and a huge amount of fun to spend time with. Also, she's a very talented web designer. Her own site is lovely... but she's put together some fantastic websites for other CERB ladies, too.

Another Goddess for today. I'd like to propose the lovely, sweet, and oh so sexy Penelope Davis. As we all know, Penelope hasn't been as active on the board over the last few months as she has been busy attending to other things. I'm sure others would agree, she has been missed. I certainly know I've missed her. So to Ms. Penelope ... a lovely creature of the angels. She's in our hearts and thoughts, and I know we're all sending her our very best wishes.

Lee Richards is a great hockey fan but since the World Series is on he attended his first baseball game last night in San Francisco. After a Giants base hit he heard the fans roaring run....run! The next batter connected heavily with the ball and Lee stood up and roared with the crowd: "Run ya bastard, run will ya!" The next batter slammed a hit and again Lee, obviously pleased with his knowledge of the game, screamed "Run ya bastard, run will ya!" The next batter held his swing at three and two and as the ump called a walk Lee stood up yelling "Run ya bastard, run!" All the surrounding fans giggled quietly at him and Lee sat down confused. Sandimoon who was sitting beside him, sensed his embarrassment and whispered in his ear, "He doesn't have to run, he's got four balls." After this explanation Lee stood up in disbelief and screamed, "Walk with pride man! Walk with pride!!!!"

There are other boards that do that. Each board exists for a reason; cerb has reasonably chose the path it did for "social" reasons and the business prospects that offers. I agree it can get a little over the top here at time with political correctness, but you can usually find what you are looking for on the other boards. Its all good.

I must agree. What possible motive could a well respected and well reviewed lady have for using your number for nefarious reasons? That would surely be a career ending move for her, don't you think?

This may come across as a rant, I suppose it may be...but this needs to addressed. Do you think it is by mere chance that Sp's or Ma's ALL ask for a phone call from unblocked numbers? Do you think it is by chance that I who live in such a small town has maintained my discretion and safety? NO !!! It is from being diligent in screening clients, as to know who they are, to know that they have nothing they are not hiding from me! If you are asking to visit me, or my ladies at MY location, should I give that trust to you when you are not willing to trust me with a phone number? These are the reasons hobbyist give me: How do I know you wont call my phone and blackmail me? ANSWER: I built my business for 5 years, why would I jeopardies my reputation with something like that? PRIVACY is paramount to my industry! And if you are so worried, go get a pre paid phone for just this hobby, hide it from your spouse! How do I know your not a set up? ANSWER: I have 4 pages of recs here on this board...I also been in small town Freddy for 5 years, I think I would be run out of town by now had I been a sting! I am calling from work, I cant unblock the number. ANSWER: again go get a "play "phone! Why is it so important for you to have a number? ANSWER: 1, you are being invited into my location, if you turned out to be a bad date, how would I warn others? With no name and no phone number, then others are at risk too! 2, If I just go ahead and give location and buzzer number, what stops you from stopping in whenever you felt like it? 3, or if I have you booked, and you no show, how do I call you to ask why? 4, LAW ENFORCEMENT uses unblocked numbers!!!! 5, you could be working on the behalf of a disgruntle client, or competitor to find out where I am for future harassment! 6, you are asking me to put myself in a venerable position, in private location, nude and whatever else, and yet not willing to trust me? I feel very odd about that! I am sorry, but for now on, please dont even try to book with me unless you can show common courtesy of having trust! I take mine and that of my ladies, safety very very serious, and if you can not trust, I can not trust either. I understand that Cerb does not accept the posting of negative reviews. I understand the logic behind this, however, I wonder how one goes about posting a lukewarm review. During my brief time as a member of Cerb, there appears to be an unwritten rule that if there are little or no reviews, then what one can assume is that there was little if anything positive to say about the provider in question. As many use this forum to help them decide who to see, is there a way to offer a little more insight than currently exists. I am not trying to stir the pot, but merely see if there is an alternative to what currently exists. I can say from personal experience, that I was asked by a provider that I had seen to post a review. She was obviously looking for an endorsement. Unfortunately, I did not feel the visit warranted a positive review, and therefore did not post. In a sense I felt like I was doing a disservice to others who may be thinking about seeing the same provider. Did my silence infer anything one way or the other. I am curious what people have to say. I would like to add that the 2 individuals on my friends page ARE NOT the provider in question.

Let's all take a deep breath lol What I see is some joking around action going on and perhaps a hint of wishful thinking... It doesn't hurt to dream!

I have had a couple of absolutely delightful days. Yesterday I began working toward achieving a personal goal for this winter, and that being to learn to skate again. At one time I was a very good skater and a pretty good hockey player. Just over fifteen years ago I had a medical issue that put my skating to an end, or so I believed. Well last spring my kids and a friend got me to rent a pair of skates and we did multiple laps of the outdoor Halifax oval. On the first lap I was thinking that this was a very bad idea, and was being pretty well held up by all of them. By the second lap I was gaining a bit of confidence and by the end of our time I was thinking to myself that "Hey, MN2, you can learn to do this again." On the weekend I bought a decent pair of broken in skates for $10 on a buy sell and trade site, and yesterday and today I started my skating program. No one was needed to hold me up, I actually did the turn sideways to do a proper stop, and I am on my way. :) It feels pretty good to be on skates again! So, when does the canal freeze over in Ottawa should I plan a trip up that way??? Any ladies want to hold my hand for a leisurely skate?

Vipotg is a very professional service provider with really beautiful girls. Every single girl they have sent our way has been really attractive. They have a great location. People who see an elderly or pregnant woman boarding the bus and they don't have the instinct to get up and offer their seat - especially the seats up front that are reserved for them and then the bus driver having to tell people to move back. Like, WTF, where have people's manners gone? Or did these folk have any to begin with.

OK...Lance Armstrong did drugs/cheated and he has been punished and stripped of everything. One thing he did of importance is create a charity "Live Strong" for cancer. Last night I hear that many people who have made donations to Live Strong are now wanting their money back and feel cheated......to this I say....WTF!!!! Simple minded people, seriously, the donation was made to a charity with a great cause and this donation was NOT made to the man (Lance Armstrong) as a sponsorship. pfffff WTF my rant!

But asking other women their personal info wouldn't give you any answers about --that-- girl. Because every woman's life is different. And also, every woman's real life is her real, and personal, life. Questions like these are ones I may feel comfortable answering to a client I've developed a friendship with, but asking women to share this info about their real life on a board devoted to their work life seems invasive to me.

If you think ladies will feel it inappropriate during a session to answer these questions..
