Random thought from someone who learned this the hard way in business and… yeah, also as a client , lol In my own work, the people who wanted the lowest price were ALWAYS the most work. Time watchers, constant messaging, pushing boundaries, never happy. I finally raised my rates thinking I’d lose business… and instead all those people just disappeared. Income went up, stress went down, life got better. So I stopped doing that. Started seeing providers with higher rates. Night and day difference. Better communication, better vibes, clearer expectations, way less weirdness, and I actually leave thinking yeah, that’s what I was looking for all along . Anyway, not telling anyone how to run their business—but there’s definitely something to be said for pricing that filters out the headaches. The clients trying to pay the least… tend to cost the most.

YFL can't legally have a list of what companions are offering. They can't determine it either. Legally, the only person that can determine what happens in that time together is the companion and yourself. The only thing they can legally offer is the persons time. Yes, there is a "list" of things I would typically offer but I will not ever promise it. Men say they're "clean" but I've had enough poop stains on sheets, towels, rotten breath and dirty hands to know never to promise anything other then my time. As msmanda said, money doesn't negate consent. Nor does having an agency dictate what they should be doing. We may not have travel expenses by being local but there is still hotel or incall costs. Have you seen the price of rentals in the city? Plus there supplies (bedding, towels, laundry, cleaning goods, ect) and bills that come with this business. Some "locals" travel 2-4 hours to be in the big city as their communities are too small to work out of. With having private incalls, landlords and building owners are watching traffic of the building. It gets harder to see 4+ clients a day to maintain a safe and discrete incall location. It's finding a rate vrs volume that you want to achieve. A $2000 apartment in Halifax, that companion has to see 10 people at $200/hour, or 5 people at $400an hour. Plus all your other expenses. It's $200/month for tryst, $100-300 for leo, plus other ad sites. We still have the same number of hours "in offiice" as YFL, but we are one person. We have socials that need tending or re making from being deleted. We have ads to run. E-mails and texts to respond to. A beauty standard to uphold. At what point do I want to have to see 30+ clients in a month plus all of that to run this business? Yes, I'm going to continue to be 400+ an hour to make it all worth my time and enjoy life. At what rate covers all your cost in the amount of volume you want to handle. YFL has the magical thing of being here for a limited time, so when they show they have a bit more demand on their time then a local that has flexibility to their schedule. There was a tip given to me when I first started in the industry. Your rate will determine the type of clientele you will have. The easiest way for you to remove/filter out a type of client is to raise your rates.

I'll never understand the complaints about higher rate providers...if you want to see them can you not just save up? If you need to do it on the sly take some cashback a little at a time when you're at Walmart paying for your groceries...40 or 50 at a time adds up and it's easily masked by the inflation of food prices. Throw away the receipt so your wife doesn't find it. Simple and effective.

Hello gentlemen, We feel the need to respond to some comments in this thread, as well as a few others thread we’ve seen lately. First, we will repeat a few things we have said several times since last year: Companions charge whatever donation they choose under the YFL umbrella. Companions offer whatever services they want under the YFL umbrella. We have also said since last year that everything is getting more expensive (flights, hotels, food, etc.), so it needs to be worthwhile for models to travel. That being said, we feel that some clients have unrealistic expectations lately—expecting a top model who is sweet and willing to do everything for $280. The market in general has increased significantly outside of the Maritimes bubble, and you need to get used to it if you want quality providers. On the other hand, we also believe that some girls are unrealistic about their business model. Local girls can charge a higher donation because: They do not have travel expenses, and They likely have another source of income since it's their home town So having only one client per day is not an issue. but when touring, it’s another story. There is a concept called supply and demand. We always say: charge what you want, but clients ultimately decide whether you stay busy or not. In the end, charging more (in some cases) doesn’t necessarily mean earning more money by the end of the week. But its a personal choice, and that choice needs to be respected. You can see us as mediators or advisers in all of this, but ultimately it’s you guys (and girls) who decide what you want—or don’t want. One thing we don’t understand is why some of you complain to us about not having extremely detailed service descriptions and/or about prices being too high, yet still choose to see independents who often offer YMMV service, charge more, and you’re okay with it? As a reminder, we have been visiting for many years, and we do our best to represent only models who meet a certain standard and offer fair pricing. This is such an insane take. This is a business, and the market has segments. Do you also think that Ferrari "loses out" because you don't buy their cars? Pretend you're an SP: If you could (a) go on a paid vacation for 5 days with a bunch of extra cash in your pocket, (b) go to dinner and sleep over a few nights in a row, or (c) hole yourself up in a motel in Nova Scotia with lineup guys who scour LL for the least expensive options and ask the internet "is she real???" ... which business model would you prefer? You said it yourself: it is about being selective (and also a preference for lower volume / longer engagements). The model is clearly working for them and their clients. There is clearly a market for these providers...that market is apparently not you, and that's okay, but to criticize a successful business model because you don't see value the same way (and then say "they lose out") is ridiculous.
